I replied to a similar topic about these past episodes, and my thought was the same as yours.
But You said it all....Good job!

Just wanted to point out that according to starone website, Geet is actually 21yrs..(which is confusing b/c I thought in the beginning of the serial they mentioned she was 18yrs...??? oh well..)

I know and accept the fact that this episode was a complete nonsense episode....a full on laughing riot....and it had nothing much to offer in terms of the story line but it definitely had something to offer in terms of Characterization....

Geet: How Old Is She 18-19 that's it and she has already gone through enough and more in her life.....a false Marriage....the pain you go through when you realize that you have been used....etc is not something light...her life has been almost ruined and that too for no mistake of hers......The phase what she had to go through have made her a more strong-willed Women...But at heart she just wants to be the Old Geet....away from all pain and Miseries...and the only Person she can show this side of hers is to Maan or this side of her actually pops out when she is with Maan ....Knowingly or Unknowingly its him who has always been there for her....Its him who has always Put up with her....She may call him Dusht Danav but in the depth of the heart even with out her realizing.... its Maan's Mere Presence which makes her otherwise dead life Colorful.....

Maan: Same Goes For Maan....He has been Doing things which he thought never even existed in the Great Mr.Maan Singh Khurana....In his wildest dreams also he would not have presumed he will be fighting with a girl that too for a Blanket....The otherwise charismatic and poised Maan has a Kid living within him.....Its a cord which only Geet could touch and that's what we got to see on 26th July 2010...The Childish Maan.....He showcased an image exactly opposite of what he otherwise believes is the actual Maan....and who was responsible for this Geet....

The Effect that each Maan and Geet have on each other...How strongly they are connected to each other that they actually bring out their true self when with each other was the main highlight here.....

27th July 2010...

Well For Many even this episode left almost a similar Impression like that of the Previous One....but according to me it def had some logic even if not that great......Read On....

We all Know that Maan Singh Khurana is Strongly attracted to geet....He is Drastically falling in love with her but fails to acknowledge it...But why is he falling for Geet??...what makes her so special that Maan is so strongly attracted to her.....???

Well Outer Looks Do matter and Maan is totally bewitched by Geets Beauty..... but more than that its her character...her attitude....which draws him closer to her....and makes him do things which he has never done.....
How many girl's may have got their hand twisted when in an argument with Maan....but b4 that how many girls may have Maan actually argueed with other than his Dadi Ma.....

She is an Enigma to Him....She does not fail to amuse him even Once....

According to Maan every Women are the same....Helpless and Good for Nothing.....and it his thinking that has taken a back seat when Geet comes in t his life as a thunderstorm....She may cry and at times be helpless too...but she has a strong will power...A stubborn nature...Pride and Dignity....Something Maan Sigh Khurana thought lacked in women.....

Maan may have faced many challenges in life.....Or maybe he was rarely Challenged because of the position,power and Aura he has build around him....And this is when Geet comes in and openly challenges him....
She Resolves to stay stern with her decisions...shows him double the attitude he has and goes on to hurt his ego by telling him he has never met anyone like her before and that's why he never knows what actually challenges are......

All the things done and said by Geet is shattering the false image he had created of women....She Begs to differ and that's what attracts him towards her.....

And this was the Main Thing Highlighted in this Episode....

In Short according to me both the episodes may not have had anything to do with the Story or its Progress...But it def had something to offer when it came to the characters...Maan and Geet

Well I know its a Long Post But these are the reasons i feel that the last two episodes turned out to be the way they are.....

For some the epis may be dull, dragging, fillers, out of characters etc etc... But i too felt that Maan n Geet have grown as characters...

Yes, it was a good and clever move by the writers. Not only did those episodes serve as fillers, they also gave us some fun moments which may soon be thin on the ground once the drama begins (read: after the revelation of Geet's past)

I think this must be the real Maan had he not become so 'khadoos' maybe due to some circumstances in the past.

However, I feel it was a clever move on the part of the creatives as well. Does anyone recall the magazine Geet was pretending to read after waking Maan up with her feather trick? The article was titled "Taking The Middle Path."

I think it was rather deliberate and tongue-in-cheek attempt to show that at that monent, deep into the night, tired and angry, neither was willing to take a middle path and act like the adults they are.

I thought that it was a nice touch!
