Next day at office
After the restless night Mann is having a head ache and eyes are blood shot.
Everyone but everyone noticed this. Pinky had already passed the rumor ki boss aur Geet der tak office mein the...so may be they both will come late...but alas...the siren goes at sharp 9 and Geet is already at her desk. She is not her usual bubbly self tho Pinky thinks.
Mann enters Geet's cabin not looking at geet but somewhere to the left of her shoulder and says Sasha ke saath saari Chopra project ki file lekar cabin me aao..
Geet also not wanting to look at him fiddles with something on the desk and says a curt yes Sir!
Mann goes to his cabin.. angrily shoves his things on the desk...
Ye larki na! Uff...such attitude..she didnt even have the courtesy to look at me and talk.
Geet on the other hand sighs and says...babaji...sab theek rakhna.. he does not seem in a good mood...but then..kab hote hain...
Sasha and Adi come to the cabin and Adi as usual looks at boss gives his typical laugh and says.. boss kal raat kuch jyada hi kaam kar liya lagta hai.... your eyes are all red and then seeing the deadly expression on mann face shuts up.
As soon as Geet comes in, Mann instructs Adi and Sasha that even tho Geet is do the project as per the client request i want you all to cooperate with her and give her all the assistance..
huh! says Sasha in her mind..mein ab usse assist karoongi...ye mann ko ho kya gaya hai..even last night..he was with her a long time.. mujhe kuch karna padega to get this geet out from here..
Adi says of course sir isiliye to meine kaha thi ki ise hire kar ligeeye cos i saw the spark in her... Mann of course did not like that vote of confidence for Geet from Adi but lets it pass..
Geet in the filing room, after the meeting is over, is looking for some relevant charts and stuff when Mann enters and says..Tum yahan ho..meine kitne phone kiye..why are not at your desk.
Mann woh mein...uh..file..uh...
Mann says.. shut up..tum theek se to bol nahi rahi ho project kya sambhalogi...and strides in on her...snatches the file from her hand and says yeh sab choro..i have to give you some dictation.. hold her hand and pulls her...
Geet not expecting stumbles into him and places her hand on his chest next his heart which is beating very hard...
Dekha Geet! he says closing the gap between them and putting his other hand on the one which is next to his heart
You have done this to me! Hear...and he places her head to his heart and says..suno...ye kya keh raha hai...kya kiya hai tumne Geet...
kyon mein tumhein dhoondhta idhar aaya... i could see you were not in cabin silly girl...and smiles i knew you were here...
tumne to mujhe jhootha bhi bana diya..mein bahane dhoondhne laga hoon...tumhare paas aane ke liye...
Kyon! tum mein aisa kya hai Geet
Geet is gaping at him looking up at him from his chest where he has put her head on his heart. she could hear the heart the vibration of his voice, the intoxicating words...and was lost in them...
slowly... Mann lifts her head up in both hands and places his lips on her and says..why do i like to do this..against her lips and places another light kiss... why do i want to do this and kisses her eyes..., cheek and chin.... he suddenly grabs her close and says...
Please Geet...! do something, say something..
Geet still speechless..looks up into his eyes..gives a shy smile and kisses him back on the lips...
Lo! yeah theek hai...
he growls and gives her a tight hug and says..
you know..we should stop doing this koi bhi aa sakta hai..yahan...
realises what he has said... releases Geet and starts helping her straighten her hair and clothes and says... holding her arms..
Shaamko kahin bahar chalenge...tum aur mein... we need to talk...
akele.....
smiles at her.. turns and leaves the filing office..
