K Gals here is the next part....Today college was suspended so you ppl in luck!!! I came back and whipped up this part real fast...so that you don't feel unhappy with the end of the previous part😆😆
K enjoy this one...this is the BIG REALIZATION one for Geet...okay partly!😉

PART 15
"Gaali doesn't not equal cold shouldering. They are two different attitudes.....like north pole and south pole. "

"Maan...please leave me alone. I want to work...." Geet looked at him sternly.

"Work...right!!! Miss Geet...you are working at the pace of a 180 year old lady. Even a tortoise can whizz past you.....I have been watching you. You took literally 20 minutes to walk from your chair to my cabin. And its not as if your cubicle is in Antarctica and mine in Arctic!!!!"

"Listen Mr. Khadoos-ud-din! Keep your sadha hua geographical knowledge in that pea-sized brain of yours...Spare me the information. And about my slow pace of walking...I'll remedy that in a jiffy Sir....so I hope you can excuse me. I have matters to attend to " She blew her top.

She had slept fitfully last night...constantly trying to analyze what was happening to her. Her nervous feeling when Maan was around, her smiles at his gestures , her laugh at his words....his concern, his care...everything was taking a toll on her head. Even after downing 4 tablets to reduce the head ache she was tossing and turning. The hurt ankle didn't help either.

She limped out of the room...causing Maan to regret his words about her walking pace. It had slipped his mind that she had hurt her foot. He wished he could follow her and confront her as to why she was behaving so difficult but he wanted to let her cool down or else he would be in deeper shit than he wanted. "She was a spitfire!" he smiled.

2 hours later....

"Arre Geet...just bring me the records of Khushi Silawat...I want to hear them . Maybe she could be our next big discovery" Maan told Geet over the intercom.
He hadn't even put the receiver down and Geet came crashing into his cabin at bullet speed.

"Ye lo sir!" she handed him the records. Her face was pink with exhaustion and her hair was a mess. She looked like as if she had arrived from a wrecked ship.

"Geet what's wrong ..." he began asking when he noticed that she was wearing roller skates!

"Geet tum pagal ho???? Office mein koi roller skates pehenta hain?" he got up in astonishment.

"Sir you had a problem with my pace. My hurt ankle was troubling..so roller skates were the best remedy...Anyways...you have a problem with everything of mine.....If I try to be nice and not flood you with bad names...you beg for them, when I am slow you disapprove, when I am fast also you have a problem..." she sounded off.

He got off from his chair and walked upto her. She stood there ...completely still. This guy's proximity was her passport to hell!!!

"Geet...I have no problems with you....I like you as you are...You are my best friend and I don't want to lose you at any cost....Please don't be upset." He sounded mighty sincere.

"You are eccentric...you drive at a mad pace, you are obsessed with horlicks, you have the craziest ideas in your head, you mimick Gabbar Singh fabulously,you are sincere when at work, you and Dadi get along very well, your bank of desi gaalis rock...YOU ARE YOU and that's why I adore you!" he smiled at her infectiously.

Geet smiled back..."High praise coming from you Mogambo...."

"Lies are sweet sometimes.." he winked.

"I hate you Maan!!!" he threw him a glare and gracefully skated out of them room.

She closed the door behind her and smiled to herself...."Yes lies are sweet!!!" she thought thinking about her words..."I hate you Maan!"

"You're quite adorable when you're jealous. It's surprisingly enjoyable."

Geet sat there with her lovely face cushioned by her hands. Her eyes were glued to the screen where Edward Cullen's dangerously handsome face was speaking the words....

Geet let out a sigh! Edward Cullen....the eternal lover , the dangerous yet perfect dream boy...the passionate yet gentle sweetheart.... She had always hoped for a Edward Cullen to come and sweep her off her feet.

She smiled at the screen...

The waxy and perfect face of Edward Cullen got distorted and reformed into another face...a face with the lightest shade of mocha, a pair of magnetic and piercing eyes....honey dripping, a slight stubble shaded the perfectly angled jawline....and the voice developed a desi hint...not the impeccable english which Cullen had been using.

Geet's eyes popped out as she saw Maan's face take over on the screen instead....his rich voice was saying the sentence as if he had known what tempest was raging in her heart.

"You're quite adorable when you're jealous. It's surprisingly enjoyable."

She stood up...forgetting that she was in roller skates and lost her balance....

From nowhere a hand appeared and caught her round the waist giving her a firm support. She blinked....those honey tinged eyes....filled with concern.

"Are you okay?" Maan asked her.

"From where did you come?" she stammered back.

"Geet...you were so immersed on that screen that you didn't even hear me open the door..." he gave a grin.

Geet's mind raced back to the the twilight book...extracting the scene where Edward had rushed to save Bella from the truck that was going to crash her. Bella had been surprised that he had moved so fast and come to her rescue. Geet felt the same now....

She stood up....taking his support...."Are you a Vampire?" she asked him seriously.

Maan looked at her as if her brains had gone off roller skating...

"Geet....This is the last time I am telling you...No I am not a KHOON CHOOSTA HUA PRAANI!" he said in a low dangerous voice.

Geet wanted to shake herself...she was making a fool of herself...by equating Maan with Edward Cullen...no he was always Mogambo and would remain so...

"Maybe you mistook Cullen to be Mogambo..." a tiny voice chuckled withing her.

"I am sorry Maan...I think I'll take the day off. I am feeling tired and whacky!"

Maan nodded. She did seem worn out today...."Fine go home and take rest. I'll come to check on you...and no watching cranky Vampire love stories there...you will have a glass of horlicks and go to sleep. You get me?" he ordered her.

"Thanks...I'll do that..." she picked up her bag , bent down...removed the skates and walked off with a slight limp.

"Vampire...Indeed!" Maan fumed and removed the DVD from the ramp. He looked at it with high levels of disgust and placed it in Geet's rack.

"Vivaan should have used this one as a frisbee instead..." he grumbled.

"Geet...accept the fact...You are in love with Maan....Maan, the Mogambo!" a voice told her.

She had taken Maan's suggestion and had taken horlicks...and for the first time in her living years Horlicks failed her. It didn't help her out of her mood.
She sat on her bed...trying to fix the pieces of her jigsaw.....

Only problem was this unwanted inner voice which kept disturbing her and forcing her to admit that she was in love....

"Oh shut up....If this is being in love...It sucks big time!!! I can't tolerate these constant headaches!" she whined and rubbed her temples..

She removed her phone and plugged the earphones....sometimes music drove away unwanted thoughts....

A sweet melody began and Geet listened to the song...her sensed on high alert...

I know...just came back from college after getting to know that classes were suspended and began working on this part....I wanted to update till part 15 this week. Target is done...and will definitely go beyond the target!
