Gosh! Naintara is such a selfish person.... I am glad she is gone and won't be interfering in Geet's life for the time being.... Brij 😲 didn't expect him to be so brotherly towards Geet... wish he was like this in the show then supporting Geet and helping her get her revenge with that devil Dev 😡.... Maan at the door, Geet shocked to see him, wonder where this is leading to... is he there to propose marriage to her? trying to fulfill his father's dying wish? I am sure Geet will say yes, she already has her family's approval for this 😆

It was a wonderful part, although hated reading about Naintara's cruel and selfish behavior but glad to know that Geet is very much aware about her sister's selfishness! Please do continue with the next part....

Hi gals...I know I didn't give you Maaneet in the last part so I decided to whip up a short but packed Maaneet part for you all. Hope you enjoy it and do leave comments.

PART 3
"I am not Dracula" Maan responded to Geet's gasp.

"Neither are you God!" Geet countered back.

"Tumhe mere saath chalna hoga..." he instructed to Geet in a flat voice.

"Kyun???" she placed her hands on her hips ready to defy his every order.

Maan couldn't help noticing that as she stood there in her cute 'Winnie the pooh' night suit she looked almost childlike.

"...Kyunki tum mere driver ho..." Maan stated nonchalantly.

Geet was literally paralyzed in disbelief. This Moron had come to take her services as his driver. She was flabbergasted....she had never seen such a haughty dingbat in her life.

"Excuse me...Mr...jo bhi..." she didn't want to add to his chesty demeanor by letting him know that she very well remembered his name.

"Group Captain of Indian Air Force .....Maan Khurana" he supplied superciliously.

"Maan-Khaan-Anjaan...jo bhi...." she prattled on.

"I am not your personal driver and I am not A RUDDY DRIVER either" she shouted.

Maan took one step back seeing her suffer a bout of uncontrolled rage.

"Okay...'chauffeur'....does that sound better?" Maan was startled that a mere driver was throwing such tantrums about her profession.

"Just you shut up Maan Khurana. And no...even if I was your driver...today is Sunday...It is my day off. So off you go double quick to that Mansion of yours."

"Not without you..." he still maintained.

"I am not coming with you...I will not waste my Sunday driving you around. And anyways I have an interview to attend..." she threw at him fiercely.

"You don't have a choice Missy..." he grabbed her hand and pulled her out of her house. She was gobsmacked by his action. With an effortless scoop he lifted her off the ground and strode towards the car parked outside her home.

She at first didn't react but then her senses fired and she began pounding his chest.

"Set me down...Bachao..Bachao...You sack of Dragondung....how dare you...and I am not driving you anywhere in my nightsuit..." she was livid.

He bundled her into the passenger seat and flumped into the drivers' seat.

"Fasten your seat belt..." he ordered. He had enough of this girl for seven life times.

"You are abducting me?" she growled like a tigress.

"Zip your mouth and sit there. From whom should I demand a ransom...some sweet good-for-nothing boyfriend of yours tucked away in your broom cupboard???"

She fumed.

He revved up the engine and took off. Geet was busy muttering curses at him and didn't bother seeing the route they were taking.

Tension and anger were saturating the air. Maan roughly switched on the F.M. He didn't want to hear that continuous string of mutterings emanating from her lips.

"Aur our next number is a very relatively old one. This song had been a rage once upon a time...Let's enjoy this musical combat ensuing between gorgeous Madhuri and Dashing Aamir..." the jockey was saying.

Geet and Maan's eyes were having their own clash...She kept throwing him contemptuous looks and he offered her loathsome ones.

"Kya bakwaas gaana hain..." Geet commented.

"Tum aise bol rahi jaise maine gaaya ho...Udit Narayan aur Anuradha Paudwal ko jaake kaho" he offhandedly told her.

She made a face at him and turned the other side.

"Get down...." he commanded.

She looked in front of her and saw the palatial Khurana Mansion standing in all its glory. It was a breathtaking edifice. Geet had been here on one occasion before....to request Dadi to excuse Dev and allow her to pick up 'the royal grandson' from the airport. But she had never seen the building properly then.
It was carved in ethereal marble and had a empyrean touch to it. Geet's breath was lost in its intricate and skillfully carved designs. The architect of this marvel would have been directly trained from Mr. Shahjahan she mused.

"Wow...iske saamne to Taj Mahal ki khoobsurati bhi pheeki pad jayegi...." Geet remarked under breath.

But Maan's sharp ears heard the praise and he sardonically replied " Kash Shahjahan ka bhoot tumhe uthake le jaye....."

Geet glared at him and he broke the eye-lock which was in no angle romantic. He marched towards the Mansion with Geet struggling to keep pace with him.

"Hum yahaan kyun aaye?" she asked irately.

"Hide and seek khelne ke liye..." he corrosively bit back.

She decided to keep silent and just get over with whatever he wanted done...she wasn't going to let him get on nerves.

He rang the bell and the mammoth whitewood coated doors opened in a regal fashion.

She entered the house after him...and her mouth again bent to the laws of gravity and sagged hopelessly at the interior marvel.

The main room was furnished with authentic Italian furniture and appealing Persian rugs. The chandeliers were splendidly glowing and the creamish draperies were heightening the phenomenal decor.

Mrs. Savitri Khurana sat on the ecru washed chaise lounge sipping a strong refreshing smelling tea.

"Ah Geet....." she placed the mug down and signalLed Geet to take a seat.

"Dadi..." Geet fumbled aware that she was still in her Winnie the Pooh nightwear.

"I see you are perfectly dressed for a cup of morning tea. It perfectly completes the "just-awoken" look" Dadi smiled.

Maan stifled a snigger and donned a serious expression when Dadi addressed him...."Maan I am sure you would want a cup of tea too."

"Thanks Dadi but I'll pass the offer. I have some very important calls to attend to. And anyways I don't have tea with my drivers"

He sprinted up the stairs leaving Geet and Dadi to digest the comment and enjoy the tea.

"Geet I am delighted you accepted my offer for the morning tea" Dadi smiled.

Geet looked puzzled. It then hit her that Maan hadn't come to ask her for her services. He had actually come there to invite Geet over for tea on Dadi's behalf. Such an ass! Why did he do so much drama? Couldn't he have just said it plainly that Dadi wanted her over for tea.

"By your expression it looks like Maan didn't bother to inform you why you were being called to the Khurana Mansion"

"Correction Dadi...I was dragged to the Khurana Mansion"

"Hmmm...I am sorry for my grandson's behaviour. He thinks he is still working at the Air Force and that everyone must obey his commands."

"Oh Dadi.....I would have delightedly come over had he mentioned that you were inviting me. And I would have been more presentable" she woefully complained.

"That's okay Geet.....Anyways I must add that you look really cute in these clothes" Dadi added trying to make Geet more comfortable.

"Dadi...Actually I am really sorry that I'll have to rush off after this cup of tea. I have an interview in another hour and don't want to be late for it. I promise to drop by in the evening and then we can have a only ladies heart-to-heart talk" Geet chirped.

"Done...." Dadi glowed. She liked this girl immensely.

"Dadi don't worry I know exactly how trapped you feel in this huge mansion with only one 'Nakchada' grandson. I will make up for it" Geet beamed.
