Mann and Dev stepbrothers?

Maybe the father had two wives, Mann being the son by the first wife and later Dev born to the second wife?

Seeing this mother always roaming around with Dev, I get the suspicion that she is Man's stepmom.

Maan is older brother to Dev the flirty and irresponsible one... quite possibly Dev's mom is second wife to his father of high lineage but she's not.... nanny ? goldigger ? sceaming for Dev having a favourable outcome in the eyes of his dad instead of Maan the first one, responsable one....must be.... so she came to the top and Dev the charmer that he is was in favour with the dad got the easy way out... contrarily to Maan.... but the Dad died when they both were young... Daddi took over the business but for some reason could not follow, health maybe.,. thus Maan the elder took over responsability for the firm, the household and the rest while Dev was scampering about in Canada and god knows where...

who knows how many times he had to help him get out of messes before he was fed up, but let him go with a huge amount and coushy lifestyle...

Maan a big chip on his shoulder from having taken too much too soon, not counting on his family's burden for which he did not thinkg of his own happiness...

thus making him the dare I say cynic he has become, oblivious to the pain of others, as in the beginning when he did not help geet in dire need....
