It is a sunny day in Mumbai and Ranbir and Kanya have a fine day. It is about 2:30 in the afternoon.

Ranbir- Kanya we will leave for the police station in half an hour!

Kanya- Okay.

Pammi- Kanya puttar main bhi tere saath aana chahti hoon!

Kanya- Is ki kya zaroorat hain mama?

Pammi- Beta zidd mat kar! Agar tujhe kuch ho gaya toh main teri saath hogi. Isse bada aaasha kya ho sakta hain?

Kanya- Mama aap aise baath mat kariye!

Pammi- Phir kaise baath karoon? Pata nahin kaunsa saazish chal rahi hain teri saath?????????????

She breaks down into tears.

Kanya- Mama! Mujhe kuch nahin hoga!

Pammi- Beta….

Kanya- Jab tak aap mere saath hain toh mere saath kuch nahin ho sakta!

Pammi- Betaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Just then Pooja enters the room.

Pooja- Hello Mama! Oho! Yeh aap rona band karo! Aap pe suit nahin karta!

Pammi- Pooja tu meri aur papa ke saath police station chal.

Kanya- Mama!

Pooja- Mama! Main busy hoon! Please kaam hain!

Kanya- Di its okay.

Pammi- Kuch okay-wokay nahin hain! Pooja Kanya teri behan hain!

Pooja- Toh?

Pammi- Pooja tu aayegi matlab aayegi.

Pooja- Ttheeke! After all family comes first.

Ranbir- Main meri ghar phone karke batati hoon.

Kanya- Okay!

So Ranbir goes to call up his parents. Kanya changes.

HALF AN HOUR LATER

Kanya has gotten ready in a blue shalwar and her hair pulled back in a clip. Ranbir comes and hugs her from behind and tries to kiss her on her neck. Kanya gets uncomfy and pushes him away.

Kanya- Ranbir please..

Ranbir- Kanyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Kanya- No Ranbir! Back off!!

Ranbir- Okay Miss. Shareef!

Kanya- Whatever!

Pammi- Kanya! Ranbir! Neeche aawo!

Kanya- Come lets go!

Ranbir- Chalo!

So they go down.

They sit in the car and are on the way to the police station.

Kanya- My seat belt is not working!

Ranbir- Neither is mine! Weird!

Pammi- Tum log mere seat main baittho!

Pooja- Iski koi zaroorat nahin. Sit where you are guys!

Kanya- Okay!

Then the car starts moving. Everything is going on fine when-------------

BANGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!

There is an accident!!! Kanya and Ranbir are hurt while the rest of them are not. Pammi gets all teary and stuff. Anand is super worried. Pooja acts practical and drives it upto the police station.

POLICE STATION

A police officer takes Kanya and Ranbir to the police hospital. The three of them sit down. The inspector's name is Rishi.

Rishi- Hello!

Pammi- Hi!

Rishi- Toh Ranbir ne mujhe bahut kuch bataya hain! Ab yeh sab ajeeb hain.

Pooja- Haan!

Rishi- Kanya aur Ranbir ki shaadi kab hone waale hain?

Pammi- Do mahine ke baad.

Rishi - Waisa nahin ho sakta.

Anand- Kyun?

Rishi- Shaadie ke baad hum zyaada protection de sakte hain. Shaadi do hafte main ho na chahiye!

Pammi- Lekin!

Rishi- See…

Pooja- Okay! I have a phone call! Excuse me!

She goes out and starts talking.

Pooja- Tumse itni choti baad nahin ho sakti? Itni aasan kam thi! Ab sab kuch bighaad diya!

Pammi- Pooja aao!

Pooja- Haan aayi (onto the phone) You are fired!

Pooja- Kaam se tha!

Pammi- Haan!

Anand- Kanya aur Ranbir??

Rishi- Patah nahin! Ab kuch nahin kar sakti!

Pammi- Jee aap aise nahin keh sakte! Meri pyaari bitiya ke sawal hain.

Rishi- See I am doing my job. I guess you should-------

Anand- Pammi yeh sahi keh raha hain.

Pammi- Ttheeke! Main toh is apshagun-vapshagun!

Risha- Don't worry Mrs. And Mr. Godbole! Everything will go on fine. Are waah Ranbir!

Ranbir and Kanya were there wearing bandages and Kanya had broken hee hand. Pammi runs upto her and hugs and starts crying.

Kanya- Mama aap hamesha aise kyun roti rehti hain?

Pammi- Beti tu jab hi ye smajh paayegi jab tum ek maa banoge!

Kanya- Mamaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Ranbir- Toh Rishi kya kehna hain? Yeh sab kisne kiya hoga?

Rishi- Yeh jisne bhi kiya bahut planning karke kiya hain Ranbir. Ab toh main sirf ye hi keh sakta hoon. (while saying this he looks at Pooja. Pooja turns a little nervous).

Pooja- Why are you looking at me like that? Aap yeh kehna chahte ho ki maine yeh planning kiya? Are you crazy?

Ranbir- Pooja relax.

Rishi- Miss. Godbole please relax.

Pooja- Okay!

Rishi- Ranbir tumhe do hafto main shaadi karna hain.

Kanya- But…

Rishi- Ranbir tumhe kya lagta hain?

Ranbir- Whatever you say is right Rishi. Lekin yeh kyun?

Rishi- Shaadi kiya toh zyaada protection de pawoongi!

Kanya- Oh! Toh ttheeke!

Rishi- Good. Ab tum log jao. I say you all live in one house. Separate rooms but!

Kanya and Ranbir smile.

Rishi- You all go in the police car for security purposes.

Ranbir- Okay!

Kanya- I too agree!

So they all go to Ranbir's house.
