Kanya is sitting in her house getting ready for the sangeet function. She is wearing a blue salwar and her hairstyle is her hair left loose. She is looking very beautiful. She looks at the mirror and smiles. Pooja enters the room.

Pooja- Kanya arent you rushing up things??

Kanya- Of course not di! I am feeling very happy and excited for my new life that will start day after tomorrow.

Pooja- I feel very happy for you. At least you are getting married to someone who loves you. Just think about me! Ranbir doesn't even love me.

Kanya- Don't worry di! I'm sure he will fall for you if you try real hard.

Pooja- Hope so. Well did you hear? Harpal is very serious about Aarushi!!!

Kanya- Really? That's wonderful!!!!

They are silent for a very long time. Both the sisters have tears in their eyes.

Pooja- Maaf kar diya baba. Acha chalo. Sab tumhare intazaar kar rahe honge. After all we have to leave for Nanda mansion soon nah??

Kanya- Haan di aa rahi hoon. Do minat ruko. Bathroom jake aati hoon.

Pooja goes away and Kanya goes into the bathroom.

SCENE SHIFTS TO THE NANDA MANSION

Ranbir is sadly looking at the mirror while Aditya enters the room.

Aditya- Kya huwa bhai?

Ranbir (suddenly looking at Aditya)- Kuchh nahin.

Aditya- Kanya ke baare mein such rahe ho na?

Ranbir- Uske baare mein kyun sochu bhala main?

Aditya- Kyunki tu usse pyaar karte hain!

Aditya- Please koi gandi gaali mat de use. Bichari. Mujhe toh lagta hain ki woh bhi tumse bahut pyaar karti hain??

Ranbir- Aditya bhaiyyah now you have lost it!!!! This is not a film please get it into your thick, fat filmy head that this is not a film!!!! In a film you get the one you love even when she loves someone else!!!!! Kanya loves Ayaan just get it!!!! She loves Ayaan not me!! Cant you see how much they are in love???? Cant you see?? Aditya goes out of the room upset. Ranbir is fuming and is boiling. He feels like taking something and throwing something and break it. He sees a can of coke and opens it and pours it over his head. Outside Ayaan hears the whole conversation and goes inside his room, locks it and calls up Kanya.

Ayaan- Hello Kanya?

Kanya- Hello Ayaan!!!! Kya baath hain? Mujhe miss kar rahe the loverboy?

Ayaan- Kanya I cant marry you??

Kanya- Are you crazy? Kya huwa??

Ayaan- Kanya chachu tumse bahut pyaar karte hain.

Ayaan- Kanya please understand. Today he fought with Aditya chachu. They have been best buddies since ages!! They have never fought! Today he yelled at Adi chachu just coz he pointed out that you may be in love with him.

They both keep the phone down.

SCENE SHIFTS TO THE GODBOLE HOUSE

Kanya and her family get into the bus and they go the Nanda Mansion.

THEY ARRIVE AT NANDA MANSION

Ranbir, Aditya and Siddharth along with Reva, Mallika and Aastha are there to welcome Kanya and her family. Reva runs to Kanya and gives her a hug.

Reva- Kanya you are the best bahu anyone can have!! Laakhon main ek ho tum!

Mallika goes and pulls Pooja near her.

Mallika- Laakhon main ek nahin do!!! Pooja bhi sabse best bahu hain.

Ranbir- Will you all please stop arguing and go inside???

Mallika- Ranbir beta tujhe kya ho gaya?

Ranbir- Mom please.

He goes inside and Kanya looks and feels guilty.

Reva- Guys please come inside. Lets start the mehndi function.

They go inside and they have the sangeet function. After the function they go home and sleep.

NEXT DAY AT NANDA MANSION DURING THE MEHNDI FUNCTION

Kanya is looking very beautiful in a red lehnga. She is looking more like a pari than ever. She is also looking very happy. Pooja is at the Godbole house looking at some of Kanya's stuff and she sees her diary. She opens an entry and reads it

DIARY ENTRY

23^rd August

Pooja is shocked when she reads the entry. She wanted to read stuff about the Ayaan-Kanya relationship but she was really shocked. Now she reads the next days diary entry.

24^th August

Dear Diary,

Aaj shayad meri zindagi ka sabse dukhbhari din tha. Aaj Ayaan, Reva Aunty, Ranbir aur saare ki saare Nanda family mujhe dekhne yahaan aaye the. Jab main sabko juice pila raha tha tab Ranbir ne mujhse I love you forever and'.kuch kehne waale the jab maine juice Ayaan ko de diya tha. Phir baad main sab ke zabardasti ke wajah se main aur Ayaan baat karne ke liye kamre main chali gayi. Wahaan main use thanks bol rahi thi jab Ranbir andar aa gaya. Tab Ayaan ne mujhe kiss kiya. Us kiss main koi emotion tha hi nahin. Phir jab poora Nanda parivaar ghar ja raha tha maine Ranbir ke aankhon mein aaso dekhi. Yeh mujhse raha nahi gaya. Main andar bhag gayi aur rona shuru kiya. Tab mujhe yeh ehsaas huwa ki main bhi Ranbir se pyaar karti hoon. Bahut karti pyaar us se main. I love him too much diary. Par main Pooja di ke liye yeh sacrifice kar rahi hoon.

Aaj Ayaan ke great granny Big D ne humare liye ek party organize ki thi. Usme hume apne parnters ke saath romantic song gaana aur naachna tha. Ayaan aur maine Meelon Ka gaana gaya. Phir Big D ne rules badla aur kaha ki main Ranbir ke saath aur Pooja di Ayaan ke saath gayenge. Ranbir aur maine Bakhuda Tumhi Ho gana gaaya. Uske baad maine Ranbir se I LOVE YOU kaha aur yeh bhi kaha ki di ke liy main tumhare saath nahin reh sakti. Phir maine sab se kaha ki main natak kar rahi thi. Ranbir ka dil toot gaya tha. Diary main us se meri dil ki baath batana chahti hoon. Par kaise? Ek side par meri best buddy behan hain aur doosra side par woh jis se main bahut pyaar kati hoon. Kya karoon?

Everybody is sitting near the mehndiwaali. The mehndi waali has just finished putting mehndi on Kanya's hand-

MW- Aapko apne hone waale pati ka naam nahin likhna kya?

Kanya- Ji baath ye hain ki'..

Pammi- Kanya Ayaan ka naam likho. Pyaar badta hain.

Kanya- Par mama.

Ayaan- Kanya c'mon!!!! You have to yaar!!!

Kanya- Okay. Mere haath mein Ayaan likhiye.

MW- Jee.

MW starts putting the mehndi when Pooja storms into the house.

Pooja- Mehndi waali!!!! RUKHIYE!!!!

Kanya- Di?? Arre likhne do na???

Pooja- Tu chup rahe Kanya toh hi acchha hoga.

MW- Ttheeke memsaab.

Kanya- Di baat kya hain?

Pooja goes upto Kanya and slaps her TWO across her face.

Kanya- Di yeh??

Pooja- Haan! Tu ise deserve karti hain!

Kanya- Di maine kya kiya?

Pooja slaps her two more times. Then Ranbir comes into the room. Then Pooja is about to slap her once more when Ranbir stops her.

Pooja- Aap mujhe kyun stop kar rahe hain?

Ranbir- Tum function kharab kar rahi ho isliye.

Pooja- JHOOT!!!!!!!!

Ranbir- Jhoot matlab??

Pooja- Jhoot matlab jhoot. Aap mujhe isliye rok rahe hain kyunki aap Kanya se pyaar karte hain.

Ranbir- Dekho bakwas mat karo!!!

Pooja- Kyun kar rahe ho yeh tum dono??? KYUN??

Pooja- CHUP!!!! Kanya I noe you also love hime. Tum yeh isliye kar rahe ho na kyunki tum mujhe dukhi nahin dekhna chahti?

Pooja- Tujhe kya laga? Main Ranbir se pyaar karti hoon? Are woh to ek crush tha!!! Ek crush! Ranbir ki is behaviour ne mujhe usse woh crush hatane ke liye majboor kiya Kanya. Aur tujhe laga ki tujhe dukhi dek kar main khush hongi? Main itni selfish nahin hoon.

Pooja- Haan Ranbir jiju!!!!! Kanya bhi aapse pyaar karti hain!!

Pooja- Of course yeh sach hain!

Kanya- Par di aapko yeh baath kaise patah hain??

Ranbir falls on his knees and starts proposing her all over again.

Ranbir- Kanya I've loved you like I have not loved anyone else. I love you more than Romeo loved Juliet, more than Majnu loved Laila, more than Akbar loved Jodhaa. Kanya please! Please marry me! Will you?

Kanya (with tears in her eyes)- Yes.

Ranbir- Yes????

Kanya- YES!!!!

Ranbir carries her and hugs her tight. Then all the family members question pop up 1 by 1 but Pooja, Ranbir and Kanya answer all the questions! Pooja refuses to answer the question about how she noes about Kanya's feelings. The scene fades for now.
