Tanishka got an offer for a big budget Hindi film under a huge banner. She wanted to quit the television show. Asit was happy for her but he really missed her. The audience were crying and asking her not to leave the show. While Tanishka galore in the glory of her fan following and was sure the serial will go nowhere without her. As she felt it was only SHE who made it so popular. Her brilliance only worked; nothing else in the show worked. There was a change in the script where the male lead in the serial goes behind bars for killing his wife. As the woman killed suddenly gets a stepsister, she fits in to bail him out and a new face was launched to play Seema proving in the court it was a plastic surgery. The same repeated romantic scenes, which earlier happened were put by the writers. The writers took those old scripts out, again Asit had to do the same, getting drunk in the serial and romancing the new face. Another 50 episodes had to go showing the repetition of all the same romantic scenes and the same fights between the Saas and Bahu.
In the mean time, it was written about Tanishka that she was going out with the son of the producer of her film. A big shot businessman, son of a big producer of this time, the print media went overboard with this news. Asit tried to meet her often but she ignored and avoided him, not to be associated with him or be seen with him ever. Slowly and gradually, Asit understood the way Tanishka had just used him. Asit finally met her, they had a confrontation and she without mincing any words, clearly told him. He was just a small time struggling TV actor of a typical Saas bahu serial who stands behind the Bahu and Saas to just be a furniture piece in the serial. Why will she want to marry him? She is intelligent enough to find and make a better choice in life. Soon her film?s producer?s son, Ronny came and flirted with Tanishka in front of Asit. Asit was totally broken to see Tanishka giggling and encouraging him and his intentions. He went from there and knew what a big mistake he did by loving a woman like her who just loves her ambition.
Soon this meeting was written about in the print media and Tanishka was more than happy giving interviews to every new channel that how pity she feels for Asit and the way the TRPs of the serial she worked in is not doing well so they have started resorting to these things for publicity. She even laughed at the thought that Asit and she in love? ?No way! Someone in love with him?? She laughed weirdly saying it. Asit saw the interview and was teary eyed and angry. He was teary eyed with the fact that how could he love her from the past so many months. Now when he use to look at her , he wondered he didn?t felt a bit that she was beautiful at all. The reporters came to get his side and he was caught in a fix about what he can say, he wondered if he honestly admits the actual story Tanishka will blow it up and get more sympathy for herself. Ronny as well can make things go terribly bad for him. He wanted to reply with some spice but making himself look strong not getting pity from anyone. He said, he just met her to wish good luck and when questioned about love, he had the laughter of Tanishka in front of his eyes? Someone in love with him? She had laughed saying this? he recollected
He replied? ?OH ya.. I am in love and the lady in question is a secret for u all. She wants to stay away from the media limelight. She is sweet, preety, intelligent and doesn?t want to hog the limelight like many others desperately do (hinting at Tanishka). I feel I have done some good karma in my life to have met such a warm person.? He said this to prove her he can be loved too. When questioned Is she from the media line? Asit replied, ? No she isn?t, media line is so confusing u never know whom to trust , especially the way rumour mills go u r linked to the least person u like; and u cant do anything about it.? Asit?s heart had pain and anger saying these lines but he felt happy of giving something back to Tanishka.
Tanishka saw the interview and she was shocked. She suddenly felt strange, ?Does he really has someone in his life? So soon?? she wondered. The interview Asit gave said so much and so intelligently. She was disturbed by those intelligent answers. She couldn?t say anything which could spill her real side especially to Ronny.
Now with this news the serial, ??Kamaal hai Saas Bahu ki Khichdi? Trps started improving. Suddenly a lot of focus was on Asit and he got a bigger footage of dialogues too. Asit now enjoyed his newfound popularity. At the same time the reporters had a new challenge to find the secret lover of Asit. Asit didn?t even knew they were hogging everywhere he went, to get the detail of that lucky woman in his life.
