Kinnari looked at him and had an expression of ?Thank God U r here!?. She called him to come inside and soon called her father and told him, He can ask Asit Bhasin he is here; She doesn?t have an affair with him. His father replied saying if they r not having an affair why he had to come and personally meet? He is a Star, a very popular actor, we are middle class people. Why he had to come? He knows she must have called him to come and try and save her face. Kinnari kept pleading that she doesn?t know why the media people wrote like that. However, her father was in no mood to listen. He told her in a sharp rude tone to get out and live her life with the person she loves. Their love for her never mattered and now she is non existing for him. Kinnari?s mother felt bad for her daughter but she was silent as she couldn?t say anything.
Asit now understood that Kinnari?s father is really very upset. He tried to explain that Kinnari is not his girlfriend and his father immediately asked him than who is his girlfriend? Asit couldn?t answer it quickly and Kinnari?s father told him, he has no business to speak in his family matter. He would have never allowed him to enter his house but as Kinnari hasn?t left the house, the house is following things against his principles. He told him that he hates tv?s saas bahu actors who have no work but to entertain the viewers by stupid things which r nonsense and rubbish. He called him a bloody Idiot. Asit was taken aback, Kinnari tried to ask his father to believe her she is saying the truth she is not in love and that media is saying all wrong things.
His father asked her, ?U told me u are going to fill the MBA form, what were u doing at that fire broke scene in the film studio that day? U went to Film city right?? Kinnari told that she had just met her college gang and with them she went to see the shooting; later went to collect MBA form? her father continued, ?What about the building one.. why u went to HPCL colony? I told u to study for ur GMAT right.? Kinnari replied saying she just went to meet her friend who stays there but not to see the shooting to collect some books on GMAT preparations. His father with anger & frustration rudely screamed, ? I don?t allow u anywhere without my permission and u lie and tell me u r going to ur friends house and will study as she is alone and go all the way out of the city to Goa; to hang around with ur good for nothing Boyfriend.? Asit wondered what?s happening, he kept quietly listening as the anger in the eyes and voice of Kinnari?s father didn?t let him say a word. Kinnari cried saying she was tired all the time thinking about studies even after her exams were over. All her friends were going out to enjoy in Goa and she had gone just to be with them, in a day she was back, as they went and came back by flight. She took her pocket money and used for the trip. She asked for forgiveness that she did only this mistake which she will never repeat. She didn?t go to meet Asit and that she was just standing watching the sunset and feeling guilty that she had come to Goa without Dad?s permission and just kept thinking about Dad when the media took this pic she doesn?t even realize who was standing besides. She smiled playing with the waves that frequently came and touched her feet and she moved side ways but she really didn?t even have a glimpse of the person standing next to her.
Kinnari?s father did not hear anything and pushed her towards Asit. Kinnari felt very bad by this behaviour of her father. Asit got shocked as Kinnari?s father pushed both of them out of the house. Kinnari was upset now and looked back at her father, she told him,
What?s ur problem Dad? U never let me live my life. Never trust me. I have been an obedient daughter all the way. I have secured 1st rank through out my studies; took every step as and how u said, u wished. I loved to enjoy life but I never could. U wanted me to be as disciplined as u r. I tried everything. Before leaving Mumbai and going for studies aboard, I took a step said a lie, felt like enjoying with my friends. Why u don?t trust me. Why u believe the outside world? Why u hate me so much that u r pushing me out of the house? I am not ur daughter or what? I love u and respect u so much Dad , Don?t U?? her father slapped her and she was teary eyed but knew it had to come. He told her, ?Get out and I know u will come back on my door saying sorry. U have to go through hell to have disobeyed me. U have to pay for ur choice (he looked at Asit) I want u to suffer and come back saying Dad u always did the right. I will never go against u. U will suffer Kinnari??
Kinnari now had lost her cool wiped her tears she replied, ?No dad, I am not a child anymore. I tried honestly to do everything as u wanted it to be. Asked u forgiveness for this lie but I understood now.. u want to teach me a lesson in life? but not to wish well for me.. for ur ego satisfaction that U always did the right. Moreover, going against u in any small way will harm me? I lied to go for the Goa trip for the first time and asked forgiveness felt guilty but nothing else? as u assume it to be? I had enough I will now live as I want...and yes I wont come back to u... even if I go wrong ??. She looked at her mother who smiled with her words? that built up Kinnari?s confidence and she moved out...
Asit walked along with her? He said, ?We haven?t spoken? .Kinnari replied, ?Ya we have to? Asit said, ?Can u come with me to my place we should chat, the media has gone berserk?. Kinnari agreed and they both sat in the car with her handbag, media followed them and kept giving the breaking news on channels,
?Kinnari- the lady love of Asit had a show down with her parents?.
Asit and Kinnari reached his apartment. Both went inside and sat.
