Next day:
Rajveer, Vansh and Abhay were on the ground along with the cadets. The drills were on at different parts of the ground . At the same time, orderly comes and informs them that BC and Major kapoor have called them for an important meeting. All three of them moved at the same time and met each other at the corridor.
Abhay: So whts up guys? Tum dono ko is meeting ke bare mein kuch pata hai.
Vansh: Sorry, I dont know anything. (Looking at Raj) Raj?
Rajveer: Even I dont know anything. May be they have taken an important decision. Lets go inside and find out.
They were moving towards the office when an orderly passes through them with a bouquet of red roses.
Vansh(stopping the orderly): Arre, ye subah subah red roses kis ke liye?
Orderly: Kisi ne Ms. Shona Das ke liye bheje hain.
Rajveer: Shona Das ke liye (Both of them looked at Abhay with a mocking look) Kisne?
Abhay(looking at them totally confused): ye tum dono meri taraf dekhkar kyun pooch rahe ho?
Vansh: Nahi, humne socha ki tumhare hote hue koi aur kaise Shona das ko..?
Abhay(passing a questioning look): Matlab kya hai tumhara?
Rajveer(trying to handle the situation): Nahi kuch nahi. Hum to bas ye janna chahte the ki kahin kisi aur ne Shona das ko ye bouquet bheja hai, tumhe jalan to nahi ho rahi.
Abhay(totally fed up): You both are sick. Arre, use kisi neb hi bheja ho , mujhe kya? Thats her personal matter. Mujhe usse kya?
Vansh(making his nose): Mujhe kuch jalne ki boo aa rahi hai?
Abhay just nodded his head in disgust and starts moving towards the room. Rajveer and vansh looked at each other, passed a mischievous smile and winked at each other. Was there anything in Abhays heart for Shona Das, they didnt knew but they enjoy the state of Abhay each and every time the name of Shona Das was mentioned. In that state, no one would believe that he is the biggest flirt KMA has ever produced till now.
While moving towards BCs cabin , they stopped as they found someone coming through the front corridor. The person came in front of them and Abhay just closed his eyes as he understood what is going to happen next?
Shona was standing in front of them looking too graceful in a light blue saree with cut sleeve blouse and was looking like an angel. Thats it. Her dressing style was so perfect, always complimenting her beauty in a true sense. Rajveer and Vansh again looked at each other once again with mischief .
Shona Das: Good morning captains.
Abhay just smiled good morning to her with a smile and starts leaving. At the same time, Rajveer moved ahead and greeted her with a warm smile. Then he took his hand out to shake it with Shonas.
Rajveer(moving his hand ahead): Good morning Miss Shona . And many many happy returns of the day.
Abhay got shocked and looked at them, while both of them kept on looking at him mischievously. So both of them remembered, than why the hell they were quering him about the bouquet?
Shona(shaking hands with Rajveer): Thanks a lot captain.
Vansh too wished her and she thanked him too. She looked at Abhay who was moving towards BCs cabin totally lost somewhere.
Shona(calling him): Captain.
Abhay came out of his thoughts and looked at her.
Shona: Aap mujhe wish nahi karenge?
Abhay(realizing his fault, with a little hesitation): Oh I am so sorry. Many many happy returns of the day.
Although he wished, but it felt like he was just completing the formality. May be it was due to hesitation and nervousness.Before Shona could thank him, he leaved from there in a hurry. Shona found his behaviour a little bit uncertain and looked at Rajveer and Vansh, who were well awared about the reason for his such kind of behaviour.
Vansh(trying to cover up): Woh, major Kapoor aur brig. Chandok ne bulaya hai. Shayad wahin gaya hai.
Shona: Well, main bhi wahin jaa rahi thi.
Rajveer: I think we all should move then.
They all reached at BCs cabin and found Major Kapoor , Subedaar Soori, Lolita ji and Abhay sitting with him.
All of them took permission and greeted both of them. BC instructed them to take their respective seats.After getting the response for the new introduced drills and the regular classes, BC and Major kapoor came on the actual purpose of the meeting.
BC: Now actually I have called this meeting to discuss something very important with you all. (Looking at Major Kapoor).
Major Kapoor understood the indication of BC and picked up an envelope from the desk of BC.
MK: Actually in the morning we have received a set of special orders from the govt. ministry. (Showing them the letter) Actually the govt. is organizing a special function for respecting the soldiers of Indian Army who have displayed a bravery act in different wars at two different states that is in Rajasthan and Maharashtra. They are also organizing a special function to collect funds for the brave officers who have sacrificed their lives for the country in the battlefield. (Looking at the three captains and Shona) As we all know that KMA is the no 1 academy in training and producing officers who have maintained the pride off the country and KMA by sacrificing everything for the country in the battlefield, the govt. wants us to help them in this social cause. They have requested to send some of our brilliant officers to participate in these events as the presence of KMA officers and faculties will definitely will be an important factor for encouraging the public to attend the event and contribute more towards the families of the soldiers who have sacrificed their lifes in the battlefield..
BC(After MK finished his sentence) : Itherefore want my officers to participate in these events. Aisa karne se (turning a little bit emotional) Hum apne un brave officers jinhone desh ki khatir apna balidan diya hai ko sache shabdo mein honour denga.
These sentences of BC made everyone present a little bit emotional for few seconds. They all were thinking, about those officers , who have sacrificed their lives without thinking twice, for maintaining the pride and freedom of their country and KMA. Due to this, everyone was unable to speak anything.
After a long pause, Vansh got up from his chair, in a complete attentive manner.
Vansh: We all are ready sir . Jin logo ne bina soche samjhe, apna sab kuch desh ke naam kar diya, un logo ke liye agar hum kuch kar sakein, to isse bade samman(pride) ki baat hamare liye kya ho sakti hai?
Brigadier and Major were very happy after such kind of reply.
Rajveer and Abhay too got up along with Shona and Shalini in the same manner.
Rajveer: We all have same thoughts sir. And we r very proud that we are a part of KMA . US academy ke jo sirf sache aur acche soldiers paida hi nahi karti , balki unka samman karna bhi sikhati hai.
Brigadier and Major were unable to speak anything after that, but their eyes were showing that they are very proud of their officers and faculty members.
Shalini: Waise sir, hum logo ko kab nikalna hai?
MK: Actually, aap logo ko do teen groups mein jaana hoga. Uske bare mein decide karke kal subah tak finalize kar diya jaayega. Aako 3 din baad nikalna hai. Till then, u can continue with your normal routine.
All of them came out of the cabin after the meeting except Shona and Shalini. Shalini indicated Shona something and Shona nodded her head.
MK(noticing two of them): Yes, you both? Want to say anything.
Shona: Actually sir, its my birthday and I have kept a small gathering outside KMA after duty hours for all KMA faculties and officers. Sir I would be honoured if you and Brigadier Chandok could make my birthday more memorable by sharing this day with me.
MK looked at Brig Chandok who was looking at Shona and trying to feel the sincerity in her voice.
BC: Waise hum log aise occasions par bahut time se nahi gaye hain, lekin all of our officers and faculties are like our family and its an honour for us to be a part of our family. We will come for sure Miss Shona.
Shona: Thanks, thanks a lot sir. I am honoured.
MK looked at Shona and wished her a happy birthday. Shona and Shalini came out of the cabin in a happy mood.
At the other end, Rajveer, Vansh and Abhay were talking about the meeting.
Abhay: Yaar, apna chandu. Jis tarah baat karta hai, josh aa jata hai.
Rajveer: Aur apne Major Kapoor, bilkul chandu ki carbon copy hain. They are so kind to provide us an opportunity like that. (Teasingly) Waise Abhay tu kyun taiyaar ho gaya?
Vansh: Ye bhi koi poochne ki baat hai?? Ofcourse wahan par dher sari ladkiyan bhi hongi?
Abhay: Waah waah! You both are my true friends. Kitni acchi tarah samajhte ho tum log mujhe ? Arre official permission hai mere paas. Kitne logon ko aisa mauka milta hai?
Vansh(To Rajveer): Lekin yaar jara soch. Agar hum sab log alag alag groups mein gaye aur Abhay Shona ke group mein ho gaya to?
The smile on Abhays lips totally disappeared and he angrily stared at Vansh who was biting his tongue.
Rajveer: Aise mat dekh yaar. Woh to bas ek possibility bata raha hai.
Abhay(angrily): Agar aisa hua to main apna naam kaatkar iska naam wahan par laga doonga. Aur jahan tak possibility ki baat hai, to aisa bhi ho sakta hai ki iske group mein Shona Das ke saath saath Dr. Shalini aur Lolita ji bhi ho.
Vansh was unable to speak anything after that.
Abhay(looking at Rajveer) Aur tu. Kal jo kuch kiya who kaafi nahi tha jo aaj subah se mere peeche pada hai. Hadh hoti hai kisi cheez ki. Tera bhi ilaaz karna padega.
Saying this, he moved angrily in one direction without looking back.
Vansh: Arre yaar, ise kya ho gaya?
Rajveer: Tu bhi na? Kabhie kabhie bahut jyada kar deta hai.
Vansh(totally confused): Main? Maine kya kiya? Dhakka to tune mara tha kal?
Rajveer(trying to cover up his mistake): Accha accha theek hai. Ab baithkar ye decide nahi karna ki galti kiski hai. Chal, chalke sorry bolte hain.
Vansh was about to say something but Rajveer leaved from there in a hurry, without giving him time to figure out his mistake.
Abhay who was hiding and watching all this smiles n turned back to move in other direction but his feet once again stopped as he watched her standing on his way , looking at him constantly.
Abhay(a little bit surprised): Aap? yahan?
Shona: Woh actually.. main aap logon ko invite karna bhool gayi thi. Aaj shaam ko sharp 1900 hours par. Grand Regency hotel. Aap please . Captain Shekhawat aur Capt. Randhawa ko bhi imform kar dijiyega.
Abhay: Jee .. I will do that.
Shona smiled and passes through him. Before leaving , she turned n looked at Abhay who was a little bit embarrassed as she caught him watching her. She smiled once again and her smile was so pure and gentle that made him to smile too.
Shona: Aaiyea jaroor. I will be waiting.
Abhay nodded automatically and Shona leaved from there. After that , it looked like hes back into his senses. He looked again in the direction in which Shona went , then scratched his head as if unable to understand what is happening with him, and then starts moving towards his room.
