Part 13:Angad sighed and made his way to the phone. "Hello?", Kripa heard him say. "Yeah mom, I am fine. - No. -Ok Bye. - you too." He put the phone down, and jogged over to Kripa. "What were you making?", Kripa asked him. "French toast. You want some?", he offered. "Yeah, I am kind of hungry.", Kripa said.
After ten minutes, Angad and Kripa sat down for lunch. "Angad, these are delicious!", Kripa exclaimed, quite surprised. Anagd smirked. "Yeah, well. I am an all complete package.", he winked at Kripa. They ate thier lunch, in silnce then. Angad smirking, while Kripa was nevertheless confused.
Fifteen minutes later, Kripa was sitting on the couch, watching the weather forecast, when Angad threw himself next to her. "How's the weather?",he inquired. "Worse!", Kripa said, giving him a glance, and turning towards the t.v., only to look at him again. He was smiling widely. "What?", Krip asked. Angad took a bite of the chocolate bar, he eating. "You get to stay longer!", he pointed the chocolate bar towards her. Kripa gave him a irritated look, and then turned towards the t.v. again, as Angad slouched.
"Kripa?", Angad took her name. It gave her heart a jolt, just the fact that he took her name. He had taken his name other times too, but this was the first time she felt the jolt. She was still staring at the t.v., lost in her thoughts. Annoyed, Angad took the remote form her hands and powered the t.v. off. "Kripa?",he voiced, as Kripa came out of the shock of the t.v. closing suddenly. "Yeah?",she asked. Angad sat back a little, and played with the remote. "You said we will play football.", he reminded. "Can we play now?", he asked. "Oh Angad! I would love to! But the ground outisde is soaked in water. So we can't play,", Kripa said. "Now, " Kripa said smiling, " excuse me.". And she went upstairs to use the washroom, leaving a frowning Angad behind.
She was shocked when she came back. The living room was empty. The couch, the plasma t.v., the rug, the tables, and everything else was pushed behind, the stair case, and there was nothing left in the living room, except a dangerously handosme Angad, with a football under his right foot. He lifted up his chin and pointed his index finger towards Kripa. "Ready Sharma?", he smirked. Kripa smirked back. "As ever.", she stated. He then pointed towards the space between two large, empty bottles of Coke, at the end of the room. "That's the goal.", he said. They both kept the ball in middle of the room, and stood an equal distance away. "On the count of three.", Kripa raised her eyebrows. Angad nodded. "One,", said Kripa. "Two.", said ANgad. "Three!", they both said together and rushed towards the ball. Angad took it first and made his way towards the goal, he was half way there when Kripa used the three-sixty (360) trick and stole the ball away from him. He was surprsied at first, but then as he saw her near the goal, he ran upto her, and tried to steal it. But Kripa was faster, before he could do anything, Kripa gave the ball a hard kick and it landed right in between, the two plastic bottles. "Bulls eye!" Kripa screamed. Angad shook his head, and started the game again. On the count of three Angad quickly took the ball again, battling against Kripa, took the ball near the goal and scored. "Now we are even!", he said smirking. Kripa nodded and started the game again. Kripa took the ball, first this time, but Angad quickly stole it. And to his ultimate shock, she used Angad's very own classic trick, and stealing the ball, scored. "Like the taste of your own medicine?", Kripa taunted him, grinning. "So you know my moves too?", Angad voiced his shock. "I know all your moves, Angad.", Kripa smirked. They were about to start again, when Angad's cordless phone rang. Angad whined, and ran towards it picking it up. "Hello?", he said in annoyed tone. "Hello. Is Kripa there?",Angad heard a man say. "Yeah, she is. Hold on.", he answered. Angad handed the phone to Kripa. "Hello?", Kripa said. "Kripa, where are you?", she heard her father speak. "Dad, I am at a friends house. I'll be there asap.", Kripa answered. "What? Dad, I-. Ok. Bye take care." Kripa said. "What's wrong?", Angad asked. "My dad wants me to stay here as long as the rain doesn't stop.", Kripa aid in a tired tone. Angad smiled broadly, and Kripa rolled her eyes at him."So,", she said suddenly smiling, "I win!". "No!", Angad said, and took the ball from near Kripa, running towards the goal, as Kripa ran after him.
------------
Twenty minutes later, Kripa and Angad were soaked in sweat. "I'm going to take a shower.", Kripa said and went upstairs to her room. Angad smirked. "It's time!", he said to himself. He too, went upstairs, and peeked into Kripa's room. He saw her taking out a pair of jeans and a red shirt to wear. He quickly, hid behind the wall when she came to lock the door, of her room.
