Part 14:He went to his room, picked up a box, and through the terrace, climbed into Kripa's balcony. He got inside her room, and placed the blue cardboard box, on the dressing table. He threw the clothes she had picked out in the basket with other clothes, and holding the basket, he climbed into his terrace.

Kripa walked out of the bathroom in a towel, closing the curtains, to see the clothes gone. She looked for the basket, it wasn't there either. She, then noticed the blue cardboard box. She picked it up and carried it to the bed. There was yellow paper stuck on it.
"I'll pick you at 5 p.m. .
Angad."Kripa looked towards the clock. It was 4:30. She quickly opened the box to find a beautiful white, knee length floral dress with hints of orange and blue, kept beside a red scarf, and a pair of white heels. She tilted her head and smiled, completely forgetting who she was and where she was. Where did he get this from? She wondered, but then pushing the thought out of her mind, went to change.

Kripa wrapped the scarf around her neck, elegantly. She was observing herself in the mirror, when she heard a knock on the door, and there he was. Standing in a light blue button shirt, and jeans. She couldn't help but stare at him. He looked like a greek god. When Kripa came back to her senses she was so glad she wasn't drooling. "Wow, Angad you look, nice.", Kripa said trying to make it sound like a general compliment. Angad smirked. "You look hot, too.", he said extending his hands. "For the record, I didn't say hot.", she said placing her hands in his. Annoyed when he didn't say anything, she looked away from him. But she looked at him again, when he wrapped his hand around her's. There was an unknown sensation flowing through her body. "Does he feel it too?", Kripa thought. "She feels it too.", Angad thought.
"What is this Angad?", she asked. "We are going for a late lunch.", Angad replied, looking at her admiringly. "In this weather?", she raised her eyebrows. Angad smiled and didn't answer. He lead her downstairs. Kripa gasped. The room that was used a soccer ground not so long ago, had now, Angad's dinning table with only to seats kept in the middle. There was a dish, two plates, and two wine glasses, kept on the table. There were flower pots surrounding them. It wasn't beautifully decorated, but it looked lovely. They view of the grass, the clouds outside, and the sound of rain were the perfect aroma. "What are we having for lunch?", Kripa inquired. "2-minutes, Knorr noodles.", Angad said proudly. Kripa looked at him weirdly and than laughed a little, shaking her head.
They sat down for lunch, as Kripa was starving.
"Hey Kripa?", Angad directed her attention towards him, as she finished. "We are friends right?". Kripa looked at him. She herself didn't know the answer to that question. " Why that question all of a sudden?", Kripa asked. "Well, you told, I guess it was your, that you were at a friends house.", Angad said. His eyes were on his plate, but Kripa could see the hope in his eyes. "Well, I told my dad that I was at a friends house because he isn't really fond of you.", Kripa shrugged. Angad stopped his fork in the air. He looked at her, enjoying her meal, and smiled. He took the noodles inside his mouth. "It's like a family thing?", Angad said. When Kripa looked at him again, he was playing with his food. "What do you mean?", Kripa asked confused. "I mean, the hatred, the dislike - it's like a family thig. Like you know your father doesn't like my family and all.", he explained his question, looking at her. His gray eyes, were filled with hurt and disappointment. "Not really.", Kripa said. "On the contrary,", Kripa smirked and kept her fork down, linking her fingers, "my family, is in love of Meghna.". Angad stopped his fork, in mid air again. "Meghna? My sister?", Angad asked, his eyes widened. "Yes.", Kripa simply replied, enjoying his state. " How do you know her?", he eyed Kripa. " My cousin, Roshan is dating her.". Angad looked a little disturbed. They both ate in silence until Angad spoke again. "Kripa, I hope you, you aren't using my sister, as a part of your scheme.", he said, alittle ashamed, a little scared and a whole lot embrassed. Anger over whelmed Kripa. She was the one who he had hurt, she was the one who was crushed, yet he didn't trust her? Somewhere iside, she was angry that he didn't, she wanted him to. It hurt her. Why didn't he trust her? "Do you think will?", Kripa asked, anger dripping from her words. Angad looked at her calmly, and smiled. "No. I know you won't.", he said. That threw Kripa off guard. "Then why did you say that?", Kripa said, her anger decreased to annoyance. Angad's eyes squinted together. "It's just that, I hope your cousin knows his limits.". Kripa looked at him. Was she angry! This guy expects Roshan to do what he did to Kripa? How dare he. But maybe, he really doesn't remember. Maybe it just wasn't on purpose. He did seem drunk that night. She wanted to explode, but instead she simply said, "He does know his limits.". Angad saw her tear her eyes away from him. Of course he trusted her. And now, he felt satisfied about Meghna's safety too, because of Kripa. But being a brother, he had to know that Meghna was safe. "Kripa,", he said softly,"I trust you. I do. But I have my brother instincts. Can't help them", he shrugged. Kripa's anger melted away and she instantly felt better. She knew she was exaggerating, but she was so confused, so displaced, that she was taking her anger out in what ever way she could find. She nodded. "I know, I guess my brothers would do the same.", Kripa smiled. Angad shifted in his seat. He cleared his throat. "How many brothers do you have exactly?", He asked. "Two. They aren't real brothers but are cousins.". Angad nodded. He asked her more about her family. He realized, Kripa's family would be tough nuts to crack. Another obstacle in their love story. Oh great!
When they finished dinner Angad got up. "Wanna dance?", he asked extending his hand. Kripa stared at Angad's hand, and gave her fragile hand, into his strong one, and allowed him to make her forget anything and everything other than him. Angad took her outside, in the rain. Kripa just followed him, quite shockingly, trusting him. He pulled her closer, and kept his other hand on her waist. While, Kripa just couldn't look away from his eyes.
They moved slowly, and danced. The rain had now soaked both of them. Their wet bodies touching, their heavy breaths, the rain, the intensity, the passion, the love, their present emotions, all blurred Kripa's want for revenge, her anger. She didn't know when they moved closer. So much closer, that she could feel his heart beating. Unable to keep up with his stare, she blushed and rested her head on his shoulder. Angad smiled and wrapped his arms around him, his lips on her hair. They danced like that for a long time. Until they heard thunder. Scared, Kripa trembled. She looked towards the sky. "Kripa,", Angad said wrapping an arm around her shoulder, "it's nothing.".
Kripa calmed down. She looked at him, and realized what they were doing. She pulled away from him, shocked and angry. Angad was confused. "Kripa?", he said moving closer. Kripa shook her head, and ran inside,and then up the stairs. Angad followed her and caught her hand just when she was about to enter her room. "Kripa, what's wrong?", he inquired, his breath heavy, his eyes intense. Tears started to flow down her cheeks. She jerked his hand away. "Leave me alone!", she screamed and slammed the door on Angad's depressed face. Angad sat down on the floor, heart broken and confused, leaning against Kripa's door. He sat there for sometime, waiting for her to calm down. But then got up and went into his room. When he woke up from his sleep, his eyes red and swollen, he went towards Kripa's room. It was open. A little unsure, he went inside. She wasn't there. Neither was she in the bathroom. Angad noticed that the clouds had dispersed, and the water was noticeably reduced. He searched his house, she wasn't there. She had gone without telling him. Angad went inside, and dropped himself on the couch, drowning in his misery.
