kanya goes quiet for a while staring into space

ra: mom..aap..aap jayeh ar jakar soh jayeh...im really sorry .

kanya finally speaks

k: meh thumhaari haar saawal ka jawab doongi! mehne thumhaara haar janam din paar thumhaara chahath pura kiya hain ..is saal bhi karun ga!

ra: mom..yeh sunkar mujhe bohod kushi huwi!...tho bathawo nah!

k: rahil ..thu aab soh jaa.. bohod bara ho gayah hain nah..! maine kasaam kayi hain ke meh thuje saachi jawab doongi..thuje janne ka haq hain...tuje saab bathawungi..paar subha honne ke baad!

rahil hugs her once more as she kisses him on the forehead and puts him into bed.

ra: mom aap ki jawabe heen mere best present honge! aur haan please meh aapko jhaanti hoon aap aap ke room pe jaakar royengi nah! please mom ronna maath..!

kanya smiles to this and offs the light .

as she is walking to her room she reviews wat rahil has asked for.. she slips into bed as tears of pain form..

rahil: okay mom...my first question...mere dad kaun hain...mere doosre question...aap nai aur dad nai shaadi ki? theesri..aap usse party ki din se haar raath roti hain kyun?..aur haan woh foto kiska tha?

from when rahil said the word "dad" kanya had tears forming in her eyes. each word was like a bullet being shot at her.

kanya started crying...rahil hugged her as soon as a tear dropped....after a while of letting his mom cry ..he moved back a little..

ra: mom...im..sorry..paar mujhe jawaab chahiye! sorry mom ..mere vajese aap roh raheen hain..

she cryed her self to sleep.

kanya wakes up the next morning at 9am ... usually she and rahil wake up around 10am as its a weekend. she woke up early to make him breakfast on his special day.

rahil wakes up at 10am exactlyand brushes his teeth and washes his face and follows the heavenly smell coming from downstairs.

he sees his mother in her sleeping gown making a stack of pancakes.

ra: wow mom ..meri favourite!

kanya smiles: happy birthday beta . aab bett jaa aur pett baar kar kaa! meh naaha kar aatha hoon!

rahil takes the jars of honey syrup jam out of the fridge and lays it on the table along with the pancakes. and gobbes them up.

20 minutes later kanya comes back wearing a salwar kameezand hands rahil a gift box and settles down beside him.

ra: mom ! yeh kya?

k: kolkar dekle.

rahil opens the box and finds a beautiful silvermp3 palyer and his face flies with a big smile! he gets up and kisses him mom on the cheek..

ra: thank you mom!

k: ..mmm..aur haan hum kahke tere haar sawal ka jawab doongi!

soon both are finished eating and rahil goes up and changes his clothes whilst kanya is left to tidy.

rahil then goes to kanyas room and found a brown parcel on top of her bed. kanya stands beside him smiling.

k: thu kol nah tere liye hain..

rahil opens the starnge box and finds a criket set init with clothes and a card..

k: kissi neh beja hain tere liye.

ra: harry uncle aur mahi nai behja hain..

k: mahi apne bai se kitna pyaar karthi hain..harry nai bolo woh thuje cricket set dena ke liye kitna kush thi!

ra: woh mujhe dekne keliye kyun naahin aati? nana nani bhi naahin..woh mujhse baath hi naahin karthe!

kanya gets a bit teary

ra: mom ! aap baath baath peh roh thi rehthi hain!

k: okay sorry ..aab sun..meh baathawungi apni kahaani jismeh tere haar sawaal ka jawab milega! aa mere paas bett .. meh bathungi kyun tere nana nani thujse baath naahin karthe ..itna humse door reh the hain kyun.. bathawungi gi ke tere dad kaun hain..

rahil gets excited and sits beside her as kanya opens a strange album that he's never seen before.

she slowly opens the album.

its a picture of her and her family ..she names everyone ..


then turns and theres a picture of her and her best friend naina..

k: woh ladki mere saabse achi aur kareeb dost naina...mere kahaani shuru hota hain college ke pehle saal paar. meh ek ladke seh pyaar karthi thi aur jaab mere pehla saal tha thab uske aakri saal thi..uske harkathe naahin jaanthi thi.! sirf usse pyaar karthi raahin.
ek din meh aur naina park peh guzaar rahein the ..ek ladka akar naina ko lekar chala gayah!
meh akeli paar gayi thi..achanak mere peeche se ek aur bhi ladka aayah ..woh ranbir tha..jisse meh pyaar karthi hoon.! wo mere bohod kareeb ayah!

kanya has flashes of the past situation and describes it to rahil..

ranbir: thum..akeli yaahan kya kara heen hon..

kanya got really nerves,

k: woh meh..

r: kitni khoobsurat hon..mere saath lunch karon gi?

kanya without thinking nodds.

r: cool..its a date!

then he disappears...

naina came back soon after and was smiling as ever!

kanya: kya huwa?

naina: pyaar mujhe pyaar hogayah!

kanya: kya ..?

naian: haan..ayush se..!

kanya: woh ranbir ki dost se?

naina: haan..!

kanya tells naina about ranbir..

kanya: naina mujhe yakeen hi naahin hora ke ranbir nai mujhe..aur woh bhimujhe date paar bulayah!

it was soon lunch time..and naina went with ayush whilst kanya was at the park again wondering wat to do.

kanya thinking: kya karu ..jakar ranbir ko doondu kya?

but when she turned she saw ranbir walking towards her..kanya smiled uncontrollably!

ranbir came closer and took kanyas hair bobble out

ranbir: thum kuleh baal meh bohod acchi lagthi hon!

a: aare mujhe kuch kehne doh ..! okay kanay thu dus baje hi aana!
