kanyas dairy..
mumbai sunday 9:30pm...

Lonely are the nights Lonely are the days Lonely am I, in so many ways Lonely are the seasons Lonely are the years So lonely am I, that it brings tears.

kanya shuts her dairy ...
and sits by the window sill looking out at everyone on the streets ...everyone has some one..
kanya tears start to fall...
k: ...itna akela paar gayah hoon...😭😭
a boy comes over and wipes kanya's eyes
boy: mamma ..aap phir roh raheen hain.. kitni baar kahaan hain main hoon nah! aap akele naahin hain!
k: rahil beta main jhaan tha hoon ke thu mere saath hain..paar ..
r: Mom! please ... kitni baar kahaan hain yeh rona dona mujhe pasand naahin..
kanya laughs..
k: jaa aab soh jaa ..khal school hain nah ...
r: mom ...meh paar naah naahin chathi!
k: kya...main akeli itni kaam kar ke roz kamatha hoon kiske liye..! thuje parwa kar baara hona hain aapne baap ke thara
r: baap ke thara?
k: huh! i mean..barhon naah hain..kamiyab hona hain.
r: mama.. papa sucessful the?
k: bathein kaam ab jakar soh jaa!
with that rahil goes to his room..
kanya cries even more..thinking:: beta bohod kuch hain jo thu jaana chatha hain..roz papa kaun hain kehtha hain nah..ek din jawaab tere saam nai ayeh gi! kanya cries her self to sleeep..

PART 1..........

rahil went to his room and layed on the bed and thought for a while..

for the past few years he's seen his mother cry but not so intensively ...

her eyes full of pain...kanya has been crying like this for the past week.

rahil thinking:jis din se woh party huwi thi thab se woh esi roh thi reh thi hain ...meh kya karun!

just then he gets a little flash back of last weeks party.

((((flash back)))))

it was kanyas best friend sonia's party ...

as sonia didnt have any sisters kanay was always a sister to her along with her brothers.

as sooon as sonias fionce got on stage with a few friends

kanyas face/body froze

rahil saw his mother face turn from happy to as if she was gob smacked

her eyes went sortof watery...she started shaking a little ..

kanya: son..sonia.. meh aab jakar rest karthi hoon meri thabiyat..

sonia: oh god kanya thum teek tho hon nah..

kanya: teek hoon par meraa sar gura haan hain ..meh jhakar rest karthi hoon..

sonia: haaan thum jao ...rahil thu bhi jaa.. aur kanya u sure ur gna be fine?

kanya: haan rahil hain naa meer saath..

on the way down the stairs kanya looked back.. this time rahil looked back as well ...

he saw his mom stare at the guy next to his sonia auntys fionce...he was a tall broad guy..

rahil recognized him from some where but just couldnt think hard enough.

he looked back at his mom who now has tears floing down ...

rahil: mom aap ayeh,...

kanya nodded.. both disapeared away from the crowds and were on their way home.

as soon as both got home kanya sat on the sofa and cried her heart out..

rahil: m..mom...kya huwa..mom...please..

she cried for a while and stopped wen she saw rahil crying

kanya: betta thu kyun roh rahaan hain..

rahil: meh aap ko roh nai naahin dek sak tah ..mom please!

kanya : okay beta ..thu roh maat ..

rahil: mom aap kyun roh rahain hain..?

kanya: beta main wo....acha chal abb soh jaa...


(((((flash back ends )))))


rahil: thinking::::: woh kon tha??jab mom ki akhen usse dekha thab se woh roh raheen thi...hmm.. simmi ko batha nah parega! woh hi saaab samaj payeh gi..
thinking this he falls asleep...

2 weeks later .... friday evening..

kanya is in her room and simmi is round theres rahil and her are watching a movie .

rahil: simmi ..yaar thu bhi nah.. koi help kare gi kya...

simmi: listen rahil thu mera best friend hain isi liye tere liye kuch kara haan hoon naahin tho!

rahil : okay okay..

simmi ..:: thu bet. meh bathroom jakar aathan hoon...

simmi goes to the bathroom while rahil is occupied with his popcorn.

on the way back to rahil's room simmi passes kanyas room.

she hears kanay sobbing so she opens the door a little just too peep..

their she see's kanya holding a picture ..and crying away...

kanya: aab kyun aayeh hon? (((sobs))) mujhe pehchanthi hon bhi naahin! kyun ranbir kyun! ...hamara beta ek haafte baad choda(14) saal ka hoga..aur thumme patha bhi naahin ..kanya cries more and goes into the bathroom whilst simmi goes into kanyas room and looks at the picture ...

she gets her phone out and takes a picture of the picture.

as soon as she hears kanyas lock turn she runs for it straight to rahil's room.

she goes into rahils room and shuts the door ..she sits beside the bed trying to put everything together.

and wonders what to tell rahil... rahil looks at her and wonders what happened .

rahil: simmi man what happened..

simmi: rahil woh...

rahil:: simmi.. kya chupa raheen hain>?

simmmi : rahil! pehle mera sunh!

simmi tells rahil every thing she heard

rahil is totally blown out by hearing this...

rahil: simmi yeh thu kay kehra heen hain??

simmi: woh jo meh sunkar aayah hoon..

rahil: paar simmi mom nai tho kahan tha ke dad kaahin dur chale gayeh hain buisness pe aur jaab meh bara hoja wunga thab lotenge .iska matlam!!
he got excited...

simmi: tere mom married bhi naahin hain..well as far as i kno... thum haari mommy ki ungli on meh anguty naahin hain..aur jese maine filmo meh dekha hain mujhe tho situation kuch aur hi lagtha hain...i'm sure he is your dad he has the same eyes as you look.

simmi shows him the photo and rahil freezes

simmi: rahil ...rahil..?

rahil: simmi yeh woh admi hain jise dekh kar mom nai ronna shuru kardiya tha....sonia aunty ke party meh!

simmi: saach thor phir mera chaks saahin nikla ..thum haare parents together naahin hain..

rahil: oh god simmi this is tooo much..

simmi :: well you wanted to kno the truth ..

rahil: paar isme koi saabooth naahin hain!

simmi: haan ..hosak tha hain.

rahil: aab meh kya karu..

simmi : ek idea hain mere paas ...if u>>?

rahil..: meh mom ke kushi ke liye kuch bhi karunga..!

simmi tells his a plan wich is muted to everyone for now...

-----------------------skip to friday night (day before rahils birthday) --------------------------------------------------

it was just past twelve on a friday night wen kanya came into rahils room

rahil pretend to be asleep .

kanya: rahil..oooi ..meh jaanti hoon thu jaaga hain...

rahil gives up and sits up...

rahil: mom...please

kanya: kya please i want to wish my son happy birthday and he is being a khadus !

rahil: mom.!!

kanya comes and sits beside rahil .....rahil sits up.

kanya: happy ...ermm...14th birthday mere lall! kitni jaaldi bara hota hain na.
.
rahil: mom aap har saal yaheen kehthi hain!

kanya: saach hain!

rahil: mom... aap mujhe aur saach kahain ge ....?

kanya: kya..

rahil: uhhr kuch naahin...

kanya:; hmm..okay bol kya du tujhe?

rahil: mujhe jawab chahiye.!

kanya: jawab? kya?

rahil: meh jo poochoon ga un sawaalo ka saacha jawab mujhe chahiye.!

kanya : hmm okay...

rahil: naahin aapko mere kasam kaa naa parega!

kanya: rahil!

rahil: mom!

in the end kanya puts her hand on his head and says

kanya: jo poochen ga saach jawaab dunga saach ke siva aur kuch naahin!....kya beh me koi criminal hoon kya?

rahil laughed a little ....

rahil: okay mom...meh aab ko kuch jawaab poochoon ga ..paar keh ra heen hon jawab mujhe chahiye!

kanya: rahil! maine kasam kayi hain tera ...
