Part 2
The next day everyone was waiting at the Kapoors house to meet Tannu. The kids were really happy because they didn't have to go to their college because the new girl was coming…which was great who want to go to school anyways? Sujal was wearing a black designer shirt and black faded jeans…Kashish matched him in a black churidar. Angad was wearing a green designer shirt and black ripped jeans…Kripa was wearing a green tank top and blue jeans. Kavya was wearing a white sleeveless shirt and blue ripped jeans…Anjali was wearing a white halter top and blue jeans skirt. Samrat was wearing a blue sleeveless shirt and blue ripped jeans. Kirren and Anupum were waiting impatiently…they will see their daughter after five years…their little angel…their tiny Tannu all grown up. Kirren's eyes were on the door not moving away from it. Anupum was talking to Subash and CG about Tannu and how much he missed her. The kids were asking Kavya questions about this Tannu, they've never met her and wanted to know things about her.
K- she's great…innocent little angel…I've really hurt her but now I will make it all up and give her all the love I never could before.
The sound of a car is heard and everyone stands up excited, Kirren gets her aarti plate and stands n front of the door…waiting for it to open…to reveal Tannu…her little baby. The door creaked open and a girl stood there…she had long black hair and light green eyes…she was wearing blue shorts and a white kurta with little designs on it. Her hair was straight and reached past her waist…layered. She came forward to hug Kirren but Kirren put up her hand to stop her…she started doing the aarti. Tannu pushed her bangs to the side so Kirren could place a tikka on her forehead. Nandani took the plate away from Kirren and Kirren reached to hug Tannu…but Tannu stopped her and touched kirren's feet and touched her heart. She then stood up and with a smile hugged Kirren tightly. Tannu pulled back and looked at Kirren and winked.
T- looking gorgeous mom like always
Ki- chup badmash
T- so what do you think? Look different don't I?
Ki- no…looking even more beautiful and I still would've recognized you
Tannu laughed and shook her head. She looked at Anupum and ran to him. She hugged him tightly and looked over him closely while he posed.
T- still looking handsome dad
A- that I am
T- ok course you are after al you're my dad
A- true true ha-ha
She looked at the people she didn't know and raised her eyebrow at Anupum. He introduced everyone…she said hi and they all replied. He took her and sat her down to chat. Everyone else followed and sat down.
A- so how's everything in America?
T- everything is good…umm rahul is taking care of the company…we got the big deal from that one company what else?
A- how's college
T- same as always dad…boring and crazy
A- why is it crazy? What did you do?
T- what!! I didn't do nothing…just some pranks and you know annoying the teacher…normal things
A- ok….and….
T- and what?
A- how are your concerts doing?
T- they're good dad…just finished another one for the college a week ago my last one there
A- are you gonna join in this college?
T- umm I don't think I will
A- why not?
T- well I don't know anyone here…I really don't wanna get stuck with some guy that sucks in dancing and singing so not gonna take a chance
A- Tannu they have really good singers and dancers
T- yea I guess they do but dad I have a comfort thing with my partner in America and here just like 1 and months left not enough time for me to feel comfy so I'd rather not take a chance
The gang was kind of angry at hearing this…their college was the best in everything in all of Delhi and this girl thinks she's better than them. Soon the ladies went to make lunch and their husbands went to another room to play games. Now only the kids were left in the living room…Tannu was doing something on her phone while the others talked to each other ignoring her…she didn't really care she was also ignoring them. Kavya came and sat next to her…she looked at him and then turned away.
K- how are you Tannu?
T- what do you care?
K- Tannu I do care you're my sister
T- no im not…you nothing to me…just an annoyance now leave your really ruining my mood
K- Tannu please
T- no kavya get lost I don't wanna listen to any crap you tell me
Kavya got up…his face reflecting his sadness and the hurt her words gave him. Anjali stood up angrily and went to Tannu…she slapped her across her face surprising everyone. Tannu looked at her angrily and pissed off.
She stood up and started yelling.
T- what the hell!!!
A- that's what you get…who do you think you are? Coming in here acting like your all that
T- excuse me this is my house not yours…I should be asking you what you think of yourself…what the hell did I do to you? I didn't even say shit to you and you just slap me for nothing!!!!
A- this is for hurting Kavya…he's been so happy saying how your so innocent and like an angel…how much he loves you and wants to tell you sorry for whatever he said to you and you just ignore him without listening to what he wants to tell you…what kind of sister are you?????
Tannu was shocked…she looked at Kavya and saw love in his eyes. She also the saw the hurt she gave him…she hurt him so much…her words were like knives to him…killing him softly. She looked at him…he nodded his head…it was okay. Now it was time for them to go back to the relation they had. Everyone smiled as they hugged for the first time in a long time.
~A week later~
Tannu was starting the college today…she was becoming close to the others…but still there was tension between Anjali and her. As for Kavya…Tannu was giving him a chance. She got along great with the guys…she loved playing sports so they always challenged her and got tied or lost. Samrat was always flirting with her…she ignored him though her heart fluttered every time he flirted, talked or looked at her. She came down wearing dark denim blue jeans and a purple tank top. She left her hair down and it was straight like always. She met up with the girls…they were wearing the same thing except for the color of their tank top. Kashish was wearing a black, Kripa—a green, and Anjali—a red. The guys were also wearing the same things just different colors…matching the girls. Sujal with Kashish. Angad with kripa, Kavya with Anju, and Samrat with Tannu. The all started laughing at the coincidence and went to the college. Tannu went straight to the office to get her things and went to her first class. Entering she found out that the gang also had the same class. But they were all ignoring her…so she sat next to a girl who she learned was Kt and became great friends with her. She had every class with the gang and Kt…she decided to ignore them and stayed with Kt. Soon it was time for lunch…after getting their lunch the two girls walked outside to eat in the little garden. They were eating when someone's shadow fell on them. They looked up and saw the gang with another guy that had messy black hair and baby green eyes. He was really cute…and was staring at Kt who glared at him.
T- what do you guys want?
Anju- well ur a newbie…and ragging is a must so get ready to get ragged
T- what! But there's only 3 weeks left of school…that's stupid to rag me when its like the end of the year
Anju- doesn't matter now what should we have you do first?
Samrat- you talk a lot about your singing so let us hear something…….but in Hindi…a song in Hindi.
The guys smirk thinking they had her…sure she can sing but she never talked in Hindi…so she probably doesn't know it after all she's only lived in India for like 3 years her whole life was spent in America. She looked at him shocked.
Sam- what's the matter? Can't sing now Ms. Singer.
He starts laughing…by now kids were watching them and made a crowd around them. Tannu glared at Samrat and wondered what to do.
Sam- ok how about I sing with you?
Tannu looked at him and stood up…with her back facing him and the crowd. Everyone thought she gave up and were about to leave but stop when they hear her voice.

Aa aah [she closes her eyes]
She had her eyes closed and stood there breathing softly…the sound of applause causes her to open her eyes and look at the crowd. They were all clapping and were complimenting her. She looked at the gang…they were all shocked and surprised.
T- I admit that I stayed in India for only a while but iska yeh matlab nahin ki main apni hindi bhool gayi…next time get your facts straight
She goes inside with Kt leaving behind everyone to go over her words.
