Pyar Ishq Aur Mohabbat! NOTE PG33(27/7/08)

Hey guys,

My name is Naina, and i am sort of new to this forum, just joined it recently.. and i have become an addict.. i just cant stay away!!! 😆 Soo many wonderful topics... Thank u all.... 😉 👏 👏

Its been a treat reading all these FF's, so i thought y not i try and write something... so here it is.. its my first time... 😳

Here is a short introduction of the main characters.


CHARACTERS

Interns


Armaan Mallik- Karan Singh Grover
Like DMG Armaan. He lives in Mumbai with his childhood friend Atul. He is a bit of a flirt, but doesn't like 'chipkoo' girls. Has had the title of 'Casanova' in his college days. Atul and Armaan are about to start their medical internship in Sanjeevani. He is an independent individual, whose parents have been living in Dubai since past three years due to his parents work.



Riddhima Gupta- Shilpa Anand
Riddhima is also like DMG Riddhima, very self confident; knows what she wants in her life and is more chilled and relaxed. Family members consist of her parents Drs Shashank and Padma Gupta, and her elder sister Anjali. She used to live in Delhi with her family, but has just moved to Mumbai. Is about to start her internship in Sanjeevani. She is very gullible (innocent) at times, and is not sure what love is although she has heard and read about it many times.



Anjali Gupta- Sunaina Gulla
Riddhima's elder sister. They have a year's difference between them; she loves her younger sister a lot. Anjali can be a bit bossy at times, but it's only for her sister's interest. Anjali has the tendency to captivate the interest of many boys, without trying. Also the daughter of Shashank and Padma Gupta. Is also about to start med (medical) internship.



Atul Joshi- Pankit Thakker
Son of late Dr Omi Joshi. Atul has been best friends with Armaan as long as they can remember. (Chaddi buddies) Atul and Armaan are flat mates. Atul loves talking to his plants, which he has so many of. He is also about to start his med internship. Although he isn't the most handsome guy and is very bad in picking up girls. He has a great heart which makes you feel attached towards him the very first time you meet him.



Rehan Khan (Ray) - Iqbal Khan
Being the only son in his family, he has been very spoilt by his mum. Has one elder sister, who is married. Lives with his family, is a flirt as well, but sometimes comes on too strong (used to be a champu in college days). Although his name is Rehan, he prefers to be called 'Ray' which annoys his mum to no end. He is also about to start med internship at Sanjeevani.



Aaliyah Hasan- Sanjeeda Shaikh
Just arrived in India from England. It has been years since she has been to India. Is currently living in an apartment with her friend (who is also from England) She looks simple but her looks can be deceiving. Her parents are currently living in England. She has a younger sister who is also living in England.


Sapna Patel- Muskan Mehani
Our gujju girl Sapna. Very much the same as DMG Sapna. Her mum is always showing her 'rishtaas' with gujju boys, but Sapna wants to do her internship and become a paediatric. No brothers or sisters only child in the family. She lives with her parents. She is a strong believer in love; she believes that there is someone out there that is made for her and just her. Starting internship at Sanjeevani.

Senior Residents


Dr Sameer Shah- Vivan Bhatena (Specialising in neurology)
Sameer is a senior resident at Sanjeevani. He is a Guajarati boy, his mum is always hassling him to get married, but he wants to focus on his career. He is a shy introvert, who doesn't make friends easily. He is a good friend of Anjali and Riddhima's.



Dr Kirti Mukherji- Sonia Singh (Specialising in oncology)
Mentor of the new interns and a senior resident, Dr Kirti is a very strict lady. She absolutely hates late comers, and witty people. She is known in the hospital for her stern resolution. Is the wife of Dr. Shubankhar Mukherji, although the interns don't know this fact.

(Either can assign duties to the interns, but they'll be under the care of Dr Kirti mainly.)


Senior Surgeons


Dr Shashank Gupta- Mohnish Behl (Neurosurgeon and chief of Sanjeevani)
Chief of Sanjeevani, and a famous neurosurgeon. He is the husband of Dr Padma Gupta and a very proud father of new interns Drs Anjali and Riddhima. Used to live in Delhi, but moved to Sanjeevani to become the chief of surgery in Sanjeevani. Years of work has taught him how to balance out his personal and professional life.



Dr Shubankar Mukherji- Ayaz Khan (Cardiologist)
Husband of the strict Dr Kirti, he is not at all like his wife. He is more carefree and laidback when it comes to rules, but he takes his work very seriously and is a very successful cardiologist at Mumbai's best hospital; Sanjeevani.

Dr Padma Gupta- Shilpa Tualskar (Paediatrician)
Wife of the chief of Sanjeevani and head of the paediatric department, Dr Padma is a very thriving doctor. But she is even better at being a mother to her 2 daughters, Anjali and Riddhima.

Introduction


GUPTA RESIDENCE
2 girls can be seen unpacking the rest of the clothes from their suitcases, one of the sister is wearing jeans and white top with black waistcoat and has her hair tied up in to a pony, she is what we'd call today's woman she had a very elegant look about her. Whilst the other sister is wearing simple pink shalwar kameez with straight long black hair, left open and light green eyes. She was the typical Indian girl, with a more natural beauty.

"Riddhima kaha khau gayee tum?" the modern girl said to her sister.
Riddhima who was daydreaming snapped out of her reverie as she hears a familiar voice reach her ears.
"woh….mein kuch nahin Anjali di, main to bus yuhi soch rahee thee" Ridhimma said thinking quickly, she knew her sister wouldn't pay too much attention to her really bad justification.
"tum bhi na hamesha apni he donyaa mein khoyee rehtee ho, anyways I have an idea why don't we go shopping tomorrow?" Anjali's dark brown eyes lit up as she said the word shopping.
"Par di hum, to Mumbai mein abhi abhi to aye hain, hum khau gaye to aur phir mummy papa hamein nahin jaane denge?" Riddhima gave the first pretext that came to mind 'anything to get out of shopping' she thought.
"hum ab bachche nahee hain Ridzi we can always ask for directions and anyways ill be driving, so we'll have the SAT /NAV. Aur phir main mummy papa se bhi baat kar lungi, tum kyun phikar kar rahi ho, wo hamari baat hamesha maante hai" Anji said, waving of Riddhimas protest.
"Par….par di we have our internship day after tomorrow" Ridzi said
"Yah that's the day after tomorrow not tomorrow so chill, we'll go shopping tomorrow, and that's final okay" anjali said, stating more than asking. "Ok its bed time now, and im off to change, you go to sleep too, have to wake up early!!!"
Riddhima sighed; tomorrow was going to be a long day…



KANCHANJUNGA APARTMENTS (5th floor)

"I'm jet lagged man!"
A girl with wavy brown hair that went up to her shoulders and green eyes was lying on her bed with her arms and legs spread out at different angles she was wearing her nightdress.
Another girl with short black hair was also present in her room, sitting on the sofa. She was wearing her pyjamas
"Yeah, so am I, hey Aaliyah when does your med (medicine) internship start?" the girl asked, they both had perfect British accents.
"My internship starts day after tomorrow, so tomorrow is rest day for me, I am not going to wake up at all tomorrow so don't even try!!!" Aaliyah said non-stop without a breath
"Okay relax gal!" her friend said
"So when does you financial internship start Samira?" Aaliyah asked yawning, and resting her head on her bed, slowly drifting off to sleep.

"Oh mine starts in a couple of days unlike you so I have some time to get used to the time zone and stupid drivers they love their car horns DON'T THEY??? Have they not heard of a thing called NOISE POLLUTION!!! wow I cant believe we just moved from England to India a couple of days ago! It seems like ages ago!!! I miss home sooooo much.. " Samira said, but she didn't get any reply. Samira looked up to see Aaliyah fast asleep, she sighed and said "goodnight Aaliyah"


PATEL RESIDENCE

"Sapna dikra (beta) taru internship kevar start thasey?" (Sapna beta, when is your intership starting?) A mum said to her daughter in Gujarati.

The mum was wearing a saree, in gujju style. A girl with shoulder length black hair and light brown eyes was sitting on the couch said
"Parso mummy, shu thayoo?" (Day after tomorrow mum, why?) Sapna had a feeling she knew what topic her mum was going to bring up, but was purposefully pretending to be ignorant.
"Oh Kai nathee, kale taney aik chokro no rishtoo kale-" (nothing, a boy is coming to see….)
"Mummy maney koyee chokro nathi jowu chey" (Mum, I do not want to see any guy) Sapna cut in before her mum could babble on about how wonderful the boy is and how much money he earns annually.
"Par deekra Jignesh ketlo saro chey!" (But beta, he is a very sweet guy) Her mum insisted. Sapna sighed, she new her mum was going to keep hassling her until she agreed to see him.
"Fine mamma, par mein khalee jowa ne lidhe haa kayulu che, main shaadi na lidhe haan nahee" ( Fine mum, but I've only said yes to see him, not to marry him) Sapna said to her mum before she started over assuming.

Nonetheless her mum was excited
"Sapna beta, kapra kar jau kaal ne wastey, abb sau ja!" (Take out your clothes for tomorrow, now go to bed) Her mum said animatedly walking out of the room. Sapna rolled her eyes and thought 'God help me!'


IMAX ADLABS CINEMA

A dashing young guy could be seen walking outside the cinema with a girl around his shoulders. The film had just finished and he was walking the girl to her car.

"Tumhe movie kaisi lagi Ray?" the girl asked him, in what was meant to be a flirtatious manner. Ray saw through her very bad enticing approach, and smiled. 'Girls these days' he thought, but still acted as if he was interested.
"Movie...Kaunsi movie? Mujhe to sirf tumhara he chehraa dikhai diya"
Ray lied through his teeth; on the inside he was cursing himself for having asked this girl out on a date.
"Oh Ray your too much yaar..soo cute" she said and then pulled him into a hug. 'Finally some action' Ray thought. Just then a girl in a mini skirt walked pass (he was still hugging her). Ray waved to her and made 'call me' gestures with flying kisses. The girl who was walking passed giggled and walked on.

"Well, ill see you" Ray said thinking 'yea rite, in her dreams'. She got in her car and drove away, he waved her off.
'Now' he thought 'which girl should I ask out tomorrow?'


SIERRA TOWERS (3rd floor)

"Maya, udaas math ho…..okay baba mey tumhe naraaz phir nahee karoonga, promise!" A young man could be seen talking to his cactus plant. He was wearing a yellow shirt with a half sleeved sweater vest and combed neat hair. He was on his balcony talking to his plants and looking at them with admiration with his dark brown eyes.

"Arrey Atul! Kaha hau tum...Champ champ!" Another man's voice drifted from the living room.
"Mein balcony mein hoon Armaan!" Atul said whilst tickling his plants.

A stunning, attractive and handsome looking man came to the balcony. He was wearing blue jeans and a light blue shirt, the top three buttons of his shirt were undone and a white t-shirt could be seen underneath. His hair was in casual disarray, almost as if he had just woken up from bed, and his eyes were grey with a hint of sea blue.

"Arrey yaar, tum yaha hau!" Armaan said to Atul as he came to the balcony.
"Kya huwa? Aur tum sajh dajh key kaha jaa rahein ho?" Atul asked raising his eyebrows up and down.
"Yaar, date pey voh Tina key saath" Armaan said with a wave of his hand, he couldn't care less
"Array ha! Aaj tumhari date hey… aur Armaan uska naam LINA hain" Atul said as a matter of factly, shaking his head. "Tum kabhi nahee sudhro gey"
"Abbey tujh kau pata hai to, bolte kyun hau, anyways mey tumhe yeh bataney ayatha key mey aaj shayad late awoonga" Armaan replied "yaa phir jaldi".
Atul was confused "Shayad jaldi?? Woh kyun?"
"Maine sunna hein key who Tina-Mina, jo bhi uska naam hai woh bauhat chipkoo hain, aur tumhey pata hain key mujhe chipkoo larkiyaan pasand nahin hain" Armaan said as if he was stating the obvious
"Uska naam LINA hain,"
"Tumhey bauhat fikar hau rahee hain" Armaan said raising his eyebrows.
"Chee chee Armaan! Kya baat karahey hau, woh bhi merey paudho key saamne! Chee chee" Atul said putting his fingers in his ears "aur waise bhi agar iss baar tum uska naam bhool gayye to waha main nahee hoonga tumharee madad karney, tumhey yaad nahin hain woh Monica wali incident?" Atul was raising his eyebrows up and down again.

Armaan laughed as Atul reminded him of an event that happened once in college. Armaan looked at the time, and slapped his forehead.
"Atul, tumse baat kartey kartey mey bhool gaya key mujhe jaana hein, ab mein chalta hoon, warna date key liye late hoo jawunga" and with that Armaan left Atul sitting there consumed in his thoughts.

"Arre yaar, lekin agar usko pata tha ke who chipku hai, to phir date par kyun jaa raha hai!!!! WHY WHY did he ask her on a date then ???" Atul asked his plants!!

After a short pause, he answered himself… "Shayad usko baad main pata chala hoga that she is those chipku types. Haa haaaa yehi huwa hoga. Arre atul tu to bahut smart nikla" patting himself on the back.. " Good night baccho, ok now say it to papa" He then pecks his plants and leaves the balcony.

CHAPTER 1A: DILEMMAS.....


KANCHANJUNGA APARTMENT

"OI! Aaliyah!! Wake up! Its 12 in the afternoon!! Wakey wakey!!" Samira said to Aaliyah who was fast asleep in her bed.
Aaliyah looked at her watch on the bedside table
"No its not!! Its still 7.00 am" Aaliyah said slumping back onto her pillow.
"You are still in the Greenwich time zone (British time) hun" Samira said trying to drag her out of bed.
"It don't matter, Indian time zone or Greenwich time zone, I still want to sleep, its not as if were gong to be doing something today, I did tell you last night! Just chill, why don't you get some sleep too?" Aaliyah mumbled.
"Yeah rite like its possible with all this noise! I might as well do some reading then" Samira said grabbing the nearest book from the shelf.


PATEL RESIDENCE

"Maaaaaaaaa..." sapna shouted from her bedroom.

Her mum was downstairs in the kitchen preparing samosas, chevda, gathias, bhajias and endless other gujju dishes for the guests that would be coming down to see and take her lovely pretty princess away from her. (The description that she had put of Sapna on Shaadi.com) Whilst thinking that, her eyes welled up, just then she heard sapna shout.

"Shooo thayu dikra?" (What happened beta?)
"Mane chaai jove che mummy please can I get some?" (Mum, can I please get some tea) Sapna screamed whilst getting ready and contemplating how to get rid of this guy.
"Aa last time main taarah lidhe chai banavu chu" (This is the last time that I am going to make tea for you) her mum shouted out of her lungs from the kitchen.
"Kem" (why?) she screamed downstairs confused. "Aave thi dad chaai banavshe?" (Is dad going to make tea from now on) she chuckled whilst coming down the stairs.

"Oii.. tamme banne chillava nu ban karshe, and dikra tari maa no to naukar mai already chu, aave tu pan mane naukar banavi didho. (Oiii.. both of u please stop screaming and beta, I am already your mother's servant now you have also not spared me) her father said smiling slightly and looking at his wife.

"Awwwwwww… how cute Papa??" Sapna said entering the living room, looking very pretty in a blue pink shalwar kameez.

"Chi chi tame banne ne sharam nathi avti kevi kevi vaato karo cho… ane tame pan kevi waat karo cho, ane tebhi sapna na samne.. sharam karo…" (Chi chi… aren't u both ashamed of yourself what kind of rubbish are u saying and specially YOU (to her husband) you should feel shameful saying stuff like that, and that also in front of sapna) looking at her husband with a disdain on her face whilst sapna in the background just smiling at the two thinking……God I hope who ever I get married to, please let our love also blossom the same way as theirs.


Her thoughts were suddenly disturbed by her mother coming near her and fussing about how beautiful she is looking and that her dupatta should be covering her head and blah blah… whilst she had her tea, her mum started giving her lectures on how she should be talking to Jignesh and how to impress him and that she should tell him that everyone loves her adrakh wali chai (ginger tea).
Whilst Sapna had other plans, she was thinking I will have to do the exact opposite of what they are expecting of me smiling sarcastically.

The door bell rang.
"ave gaya" (They've come) Sapna's mum screamed at the top of her lungs.


KHAN RESIDENCE

"Abbey salley uth jaa!" Mr Khan screamed whilst knocking on his son's door.
"Bechaarey kau sooney dauna" Mrs khan said coming up behind him, she obviously disapproved of the way her husband was screaming at their son.
"Tumhee ney usko bigaar kar rakh kha hain!" He said angrily to his wife.
"Agar aap isi tarah baat karaungey tau wau kab sudhrega?" she said sticking up for darling son.

His dad muttered a couple of curses before he went downstairs. Ray's mum opened the door and walked in. Ray who was obviously awake, pretended he was fast asleep.
"Beta uth jaa" his mum said whilst patting his head and ruffling his hair lightly.
"Ammi, your messing up my hair dude" Ray said getting up from bed.
"KYA!!! TUMHE DOODH chahyeh pehli baar apni zindagi mein!!" His mum said shocked, mistaking the word 'dude' for 'doodh'
"Hailaa!! Mum no!" he said "I was trying to say- ah forget it!" Ray said getting out of bed and going to his bathroom.
"Achcha mein tumharey liye naashta laga thi hoon" his mum said walking out of his room
"NAASHTA NAHIN TUMHARE LAADLEY KEY LIYE LUNCH LAGA DEYNAA!" Ray's dad shouted from downstairs.
Ray who was brushing his teeth was thinking 'wow, dad has good hearing'. After some rushed 5 mins in the bathroom, Ray went downstairs.

"Uthgaya nalayak!" Rays dad said as he joined them at the table. He was having breakfast while they were having lunch (how shameful)
"Becharey kau kyun tang kartey hau?" his mum said while putting 2-3 parathas on Ray's plate.
"Tumhee nay Rehaan kau bigaar diya hai" Mr khan accused his wife again.
"Yo abbu! It's Ray not Rehaan!" Ray said ruffling his hair. His dad got ticked off again.
"Angrez chaley gaye, isse yahaan bhool gayye"
Even this remark didn't affect Rehaan,
"Yo abbu just chill!" he said stuffing his mouth with food.
"Kitni baar kaha ke khaate waqt baat nahin karte gaddhe (donkey) ki aulaad" his dad glaring at him from the corner of his eyes.
"Abbu aap gaddhe hain kyaan?" Ray said cheekily, while his mother actually giggled.
"Ey salley badmaash! Kyaa kaha tumne?" his dad said trying to hide his smile.
"Tum aaj kya karongey? Tumhari internship to kal se shuru hone waali hain na?" His mother enquired while chucking a couple more parathas on his plate.
"Ammi, main aaj-"
"Aur kya kareyga, koi larkee kau date per ley jaa ney wala hoga" His dad cut in before he could finish his sentence.
"Abbu aap kau kaise patta?" Ray said while ducking his head as his dad threw his newspaper at him.
