Part 10

Recap: Angad and Kripa walk home in the rain

Kripa comes out wearing a white shirt with a pair of jeans. She goes to Angad's room and knocks on door. He opened the door and she walked in. Angad was wearing a sleeveless shirt as he couldn't find another one to wear at the moment. After looking at him Kripa blushed. Angad explained his problem and all she could do was smile.

Kripa: Mein tumhari madat kardoon?
Angad: Yes please (grins)
Kripa: Okay(smiles)

She rummaged through his messy closet and ended up finding a black shirt.

Kripa: Yeh pehan lo (hands the shirt)

Angad smiled at her and put the shirt on. They are both just standing in his room and there was an akward silence.

Angad: Uh Kripa
Angad : Haan?
Angad: Tumhe coffee ya kuch chahiye?
Kripa: (smiles) Um coffee's fine
Angad: Achaa theek hai, mein banakar laun?
Kripa: Tum coffee banoge?
Angad: Yes why not?
Kripa: (laughs) Mein tumhe kitne salon se janti hoon. I didn't know that you make coffee
Angad: Haan woh kya hai na, tumhe mujhe batai huye nahin dekha isiliye
Kripa: Hmm really?
Angad: Yes really Ms Kripa Sharma. Banadu toh sahi phir tumhe pata chalega
Kripa: Yeh toh mein nahin miss kar sakti
Angad: (laughs) Phir chalo mere saath

They both went in the kitchen. Kripa is standing at a distance watching Angad who was busy making coffee. Seeing him do so, was making Kripa smile in amazement. In a few minutes the coffee was ready and Angad handed her a steamy cup full.

Angad: Yeh lo madam, tumhare liye garma garam coffee

Kripa smiled and took the cup from his hands. Angad watched her as she took her first sip.

Kripa: Hmm (making a face)
Angad: Tumhe acha nahin laga kya? (sad tone)
Kripa: Like it?! Nahin nahin, Angad I lovee it! (smiles)
Angad: (smiles) See I told you, I'm a great coffee maker
Kripa:(smiles) Haan haan, you just didn't try my coffee,tumhara coffee se zyada betar hai
Angad: Oh really?
Kripa: Yes!
Angad: Acha toh phir tum bhi mere liye banadijiye
Kripa: Yes yes, phir dekhte hai kiske coffee zyada acha hai

They get into a little arguement about their coffee making skills while drinking their coffee. After finishing the coffee Kripa made some more and Angad took the first sip.

Kripa: Achaa hai ya nahin?
Angad: Hm it's ok par mere coffee se achaa toh nahin hai
Kripa : Kya?!

She started to him playfully while Angad grabbed hold of her hands to stop her.

Angad: I'm joking I'm joking bohot hi achaa hai. It's awesome!

Angad: (looks out the window) It doesn't seem as though it's going to stop raining anytime soon, wanna watch a movie?
Kripa: Sure,which one?

Angad got up and went to the living room and came back with some DVDs.

Angad: Okay there's Heyy Babyy, Chak De India and uh Dhamaal
Kripa: How about we watch Chak De, I didn't see that one yet
Angad: Okay Chak De India it is (smiles)

They walked into the living room and watched the movie Chak De India. After about an hour the Angad and Kripa had dozed off while watching the film. Kripa's head was rested on Angad's shoulder while his head was rested on hers. Dadi walked into the room and saw them sleeping. She turned the tv off and put a blanket over Angad and Kripa. She walked over to the phone and called Kripa's parents to inform them that Kripa is going to spend the night at their house. After a while Angad woke up and realised that Kripa was sleeping on his shoulder and that he was resting on her head. He smiled and got up without disturbing Kripa. He makes her lie on the sofa and covered her with the blanket. He walked into the kitchen and found dadi cooking dinner.

Angad: Dadi
Dadi: Arre Angad beta tum uth gaye?
Angad: Jee haan woh hum...
Dadi:Koi baat nahin beta, maine Kripa ke ghar phone kiya hai. Woh aaj raat yahaan rahegi
Angad: Theek hai dadi
Dadi: Tum jao aur fresh ho jao aur phir apne behen ko bulao woh apne kamre mein hogi
Angad: Okay

He went for a quick shower and then went to Aaliyah's room. He knocked on the door and called her name.

Angad: Aaliyah! Open the door its time for dinner, Aaliyah?!

She doesn't answer so Angad turned the door knob and found that the door was open. Aaliyah was lying on her bed daydreaming. Angad smileed at his sister and sat beside her.

Angad: Aaliyah!

She didn't answer once again, he snapped his fingers in front of her face. She still doesn't answer him so he took the picture that she was holding. She suddenly came back to her senses and realised that Angad took her photo.

Aaliyah: Bhai give it back
Angad: No way

He turned the photo around and looked at it; it was a picture of Aaliyah and Josh

Angad: Oh toh tumhara aur Josh ka photo hai
Aaliyah: Bhai please! Give it back

He handed it back to her and she held it closely.

Angad: Tum Josh se bohot pyar karti ho?
Aaliyah: Haan (blushing)
Angad: Are you two getting married anytime soon, perhaps after your studies?
Aaliyah: BHAI! (blushes even more)
Angad: Mujhe jaldi se khush kabari dena(smiles) Well Dadi is calling you, khane ka waqt ho gaya hai
Aaliyah: All right I'm coming
Angad: Ok (leaves her room)

Aaliyah kissed Josh's picture,put it back on the table, and followed Angad downstairs. Meanwhile Kripa woke up and was helping Dadi with the food. Angad and Aaliyah joined them and they all sit down and eat dinner. After they were done eating Kripa and Aaliyah cleaned up. Dadi went to her room to rest and Angad was in the living room watching tv. Aaliah and Kripa joined him and sat down. Just then the phone rang and Aaliyah got the phone.

Aaliyah: Hello?
Someone: Hello Aaliyah, it's Rohit
Aaliyah: Rohit bhaiya! Tum kaise ho?
Rohit: I'm good and you?
Aaliyah: I'm great! Toh batao baat kya hai? Itne dino se phone kiya?
Rohit: Woh baat hai ke meri shaadi hone wale hai
Aaliyah: KYA!
Rohit: (laughs) Haan aur mein chata hoon ke tum, Angad aur dadi bhi aye
Aaliyah: Ofcourse we are coming! Humare favorite cousin ki shaadi hai toh jana toh parega
Rohit: (laughs) Theek hai, well it's in a few days. I think mom's going to call later. Well see you then, bye
Aaliyah: Congrats bhaiya, bye

Aaliyah put the phone down and joined Angad and Kripa who were talknig about some random stuff.

Angad: Kiska phone tha?
Aaliyah: Woh Rohit bhaiya ka phone tha, he's getting married soon
Angad: KYA! Rohit aur Shaadi?!
Aaliyah: (laughs) I had the same reaction well he called to invite us. Jaana toh parega
Angad: Haan hum kal dadi ko khush kabari denge
Aaliyah: Yeaah okay

Kripa was just smiling at their conversation. After a few minutes of chatting they decided to go to sleep as it was getting late.

Part 11

Recap: Rohit (Angad's cousin) calls to invite them to his wedding.

The next morning Kripa woke up at about 7: 40 a.m. She took a quick shower and got dressed in her clothes which had been dried in the dryer. She was going to go downstairs but then passed Angad's bedroom whose door was left wide-open. She decided to go in his room to wake him up. She sat on his bed beside him and watched Angad as he slept peacefully. She smiled since he looked like a innocent little child. Kripa put her hand over his arm and tried to wake him up. He was still sleeping so she did it once more.

Kripa: Angad get up,college jaana hai

Angad rubbed his eyes and looked at her while still lying down.

Angad: Kripa it's still 7 let me sleep
Kripa: 7?! Angad c'mon get up it's 8:30
He streched his arms and sat up.

Angad: Err Kripa tum bhi na... you never let me sleep
Kripa:Angad mujge kuch nahin sunna hai. C'mon get ready,chalo get up

Kripa grabbed his arm and pulls him out of bed and then pushes him into the bathroom to get ready. She smiles and goes downstairs where she meets dadi and Aaliyah.

Kripa: Good morning
Dadi/Aaliyah: Goodmorning
Aaliyah: Kripa you woke up before me how come you came downstairs so late
Kripa: Tumhare pyare bhai ki vajeh se
Aaliyah: (laughs) Bhai ne kya kiya?
Kripa: Arre tum toh usse janti ho. He was sleeping and it took me like an hour to wake him up!

Dadi and Aaliyah both laughed. Angad walked downstairs in a while after getting ready. They all have breakfast and then Kripa, Aaliyah and Angad go to college.

As they reach college they all get out of the car and meet up with Josh and Shabd. Aaliyah goes to Josh and gives him a tight hug.

Angad: Kya baat hai, aaj humare samne bhi shuru ho gaye
Aaliyah: Bhai(blushing)
Kripa : Angad tum bhi na let them be. Bhai..Aaliyah hum tum dono ko kuch privacy dete hai. Shabd.. Angad you two come with me!
Josh: Dekha Angad, meri behen bohot hi samajdar hai..unlike you
Angad: Haha very funny

Shabd and Kripa smile at their childish behaviour. Shabd, Angad and Kripa leave and go to class when the bell rings. They sat in their seats and the teacher entered the room and started today's lesson. After class ended they went to the canteen like usual.

Aaliyah: Josh,mein aur bhai kuch din ke liye Shimla mein jaa rahe hai
Josh: Shimla... kyun?
Aaliyah: Woh kya hai na humare cousin ke shaadi hai
Josh: I'll miss you baby
Aaliyah: Aw I'll miss you too

Just then the others enter the canteen.

Angad does that *cough cough* thing so that they knew that they were there. Josh and Aaliyah turned and saw Angad, Shabd and Kripa standing.

Kripa: Sorry tum dono ko disturb toh nahin kiya na?

Aaliyah blushed while Josh just looked at them. They sat with them and they chatted while eating lunch.

*2 Days Later (it's about 6 pm)

Angad was sitting in his room and decided to call Kripa since he was getting bored.

Kripa: Hello?
Angad: Hey Kripa
Kripa: Oh hi Angad
Angad: What are you doing?
Kripa: Kuch nahin, bas aise hi..tum?
Angad: Nothing, mein yahaan bore ho raha tha isliye meine tumhe phone kiya
Kripa: Oh(smiles)
Angad: Aur mein toh kal shaadi ke liye Shimla jaa raha hoon
Kripa: Haan (sad)
Angad: Arre kya hua??
Kripa: Kuch nahin, woh kya hai na mere best friend mere saath yahaan nahin hoga isiliye
Angad: Kripa tum bhi na, I'm only going there for 3 days
Kripa: Phir bhi mein yahaan akeli bore ho jaungi
Angad: (laughs) Theek hai toh phir tum abhi mere saath kahin jana pasad karogi? Uh for a walk?
Kripa: Theek hai, I'll get ready
Angad: Ok I'll be at your house in a few minutes

Angad goes over to Kripa's house and she meets him at the door. They both go for a short walk while chatting and laughing about many things.

Angad: Kripa when I come back, I'll tell you how I feel. Mein tumhe batadunga ke mein tumse kitna pyar karta hoon aur tum mere liye kya maine rakti ho. Sirf teen din ke liye intezaar karna hai, sirf teen din. (in his head)
Kripa: I can't stay away from you Angad even though it's just for three days. Tumhe jald se jald dil ki baat kehna chati hoon. (in her head)

They walk around for a while longer and then walk back home. Angad walked her to her house and bid farewell. He walked back to his house with his hands in his pockets thinking about her. After he got home he had dinner and then went to sleep since tomorrow they would have to leave early.

The next morning Angad got up and took a quick shower. He put on a pair of dark jeans and his hot blue superman shirt. He went downstairs and met Aaliyah and Dadi in the kitchen where they ate breakfast. After eating they left for Shimla

At the wedding the jodi are sitting at the mandip. Angad, Aaliyah and the rest of the family are standing there. Rohit filled in his dulhaan (Payaal)'s mang with sindoor. She blushed as he put the mangalsutra around her neck. While the wedding was taking place Angad was constantly thinking about Kripa.

Angad: Kripa bas kuch ganto ki baat hai phir mein ghar akar hi tumhe mere dil ke baat batauga. Phir mein tumhe apna banadunga. I'm coming soon Kripa, I'm coming soon (in his head)

Now the jodi take the saat phere and then after they take blessings from their elders.
It had been a day and a half since Angad had left for Shimla for the wedding along with dadi and Aaliyah. Kripa was sitting by the window and was writing in her diary.

Dear diary,
It has now been over a day since Angad left. Mujhe aur intezaar nahin hoga. I can't wait until he comes back. I really want to tell him what's in my heart and that I love him a lot! As soon as he comes, I'll have to tell him. Mein yeh baat usse kehna chahati aur woh bhi jald se jald. Mujhe woh kiss ke baad hi pata chala ke mein usse kitna chahati. Angad come back soon!

Whatever she just wrote in her diary she said it outloud thinking that no one was there. Now you see someone by the door but you can't see his or her face. Whoever it was overheard everything that Kripa just said!
