RECAP:-Armaan and Riddhima become good friends.....Ridz starts trusting Armaan.....The camp has come to an end.....Armaan sang a song for Riddhima on the last day....
PART 10
The next morning,there was a great hustle-bustle in sonpur village.....After all,all the students were to leave for Mumbai......all the students were in a great hurry.....Everyone boarded th bus,on scheduled time.....Armaan and Riddhima barely got a glimpse of each other......Both were missing each other secretly....But what cud they do.........The bus started for Mumbai...Ridz got another glimpse of Armaan when he was boarding the bus,but he was surrounded by his friends and so both cud acknowledge each other's prescence only by passsing a small smile.......
Armaan and Ridz kept thinking about each other,throughout the journey......All sorts of thoughts crossed their mind but both were thinking along the same lines....When they first met each other, each one knew that the other was differnt....they realized that they were from two different worlds, yet it felt as if they had known each other forever...
Ridz was thinking :-How could I possibly be drawn to someone who should have been so wrong for me. I tried to forget him but he filled my dreams and thoughts far to often......I told myself that i shud stay away from Armaan for my own good.....But then,thank god that I
decided I shudn't judge him for past mistakes and to get to know him.....
Armaan was thinking that:-We've had alot of up's & down's but it seems that ultimately we have stood by one another.......In these two weeks We were always there for each other and i wish that this cud be true for the entire lifetime......
Their hearts skips a beat every time they see each other......
Two minds, two bodies; one heart & soul!
On reaching St.Patrick's college both once again became busy in their schedules.....It wasn't possible for them to meet everyday.....Armaan hadn't told a single thing about Riddhima to any one of his friends.....he didn't want to face their reactions.....Meanwhile Ridz had told every single detail to Sapna.....Since their schooldays they hadn't kept a single secret from each other....infact both knew each other better than anyone else.......Sapna easily understood that Ridz does Love Armaan.....She cud see it in her eyes when Ridz spoke of Armaan.....And Sapna also knew the reason why Ridz was holding herself back and she supported her friend
outwardly but inwardly she made a resolution to try every possible way to make Ridz confess her true feelings to Armaan.....
Armaan and Ridz used to talk to each other on phone often(they had taken each other's number dueing the camp)........that was the best part of the day for them....talking to each other away from the prying eyes of their friends......all the tiredness and frustration of the day wud go in a jiffy wen they talked to each other....They used to discuss many things-right from studies,jokes,movies,music.......As we know"Distance makes a heart grow fonder".....They became very close to each other as friends.....Whenever it was possible,they wud meet in the college campus during evening when their friends were busy with their own issues....But their true feelings never left them....for them,Love was like the wind;they cudn't see it, but they felt it within themselves.......Whenever
they held each other's hands , not only did they feel love inside them but also felt the love for each other....Everything was so real....
A month passed in this way...It was the time for their internal exams....There was no respite from studies for either of them.......All their daily talks came to an end.......They did crave a lott to speak to each other,to see each other....or to even touch each other....but it wasn't possible at all.....
When the internals were over ,everyone heaved a sigh of relief.....Ridz soon came to know that Rahul's B'day was approaching....Rahul had always been a special friend for her and she meant to give him sumthing special on his b'day......
For the First Time in his life,rahul was very very excited about his forecoming bday.....as he had decided to propose Ridz on that day....he realized that he cud no longer hold his feelings back....they simply needed to be poured out to ridz....and his b'day was the perfect day....
On one such day when Rahul was sitting with his gang in the canteen....
Rahul:-Guys,mujhe tum logon ko ek baat batani hai.....plzzz hansna mat..."
ronit:-(already laughing)"Kya ladkiyon ki tarah sharma raha hai...jaldi bol....waise apna b'day kahan celebrate kar raha hai tu??"
Rahull:-"haan actually,b'day se related hi baat hai"
Armaan:-"haan toh jaldi bol na,waise bhi in exams ne toh jaan hi le li thi...."
Rahul:-"woh actually....hmm...woh..kya hai na...main..woh...main....."
shamit:-"abey paka mat,jaldi bak...kya baat hai"
Ronit:-"haan agar jaldi nahin kaha,toh doonga ek(he said jovially,showing a punch......)
Rahul:-"ok ok.....i luv sumone and maine decide kiya hai ki main usse apne b'day ke din propose karoonga(he said everything in one flow)"
Applause broke out on the table
"Kya baat kar raha hai....kaun hai woh....humein ab tak kyun nahin batay....tu toh bada chchupa rustam ikla.....ab jaldi se naam bata"
Armaan:-"ab jaldi bata ,ki humari bhabhiji kaun hai????aakhir hum bhi toh jaane"??(he asked mischievously....)
Rahul:-(feeling relieved at the first reaction of his friends....he took a deep breath and said)"Uska naam Riddhima hai"
Armaan was stunned....:-"KYA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Abey kya bol raha hai???"
Rahul:-"Yaaar armaan ,dekh mujhe pata hai ki u can't tolerate her....par yaar plzz meri khatir chup rehna......u know...she is the love of my life...she makes me feel special, like I'm hers and only hers..... She makes me feel like she is a star in the sky lighting up my life. You know,riddhima simply lghts up my heart by the things she does and says.......I feel so happy just being with her...........Yaar,i love her a lott....
Everyone erupted into cheers on hearing this from rahul...They were happy for him and encouraged him to go ahead and propose her on his b'day....They realized that Rahul was truly in love with her....and all they cared for was their friends happines.....
Armaan felt his world crumbling before him......On one hand was one of his best friends...who had always been with him........and on the other hand was RIDz-his love,life and soul...with whom he wanted to spend his entire life.....he congratulated Rahul and excused himself from there....
Armaan didn't know what to do...shud he tell rahul about his love for riddhima.....but what was the use he thought.....Ridddhima wud never accept that she loved him....she wud go on considering him as her friend till the very end....Also he didn't want to upset Rahul nor break his friendship with him.......But he shuddered at the thought of losing Riddhima....just at the time when they were so close......he was lost in his thinking and didn't see Riddhima coming from the other end..they collided....
Ridz:-"Arey Armaan tum,Sorry....i didn't see u...lekin tum kuch soch rahe the kya"
Armaan:-"Oh hii riddhima,i sorry...haan woh main actually kuch soch raha tha..."
Ridz:-"anything serious,koi probllem hai toh mujhe batao na....main shayd tumhari koi help kar sakoon....."
Armaan:-Prob...toh hai..lekin...!!!"
Ridz:-"dekho armaan ab bata bhi do,humare beech mein koi formality nahin hain...Ok???"
Armaan:-"achcha,ek sawaql poochta hoon"
Ridz:-"haan toh poochon na..."
Armaan:-"kya kissi ke liye uske dost ki khushi important honi chahiye...yaa pyaar...aur tab agar woh yeh bhi nahin jaanta ki saamne waali bhi usse pyaar karti hai ki nahin......"
Ridz:-"hmmm,dekho mera PERSONAL view hai,ki aise case mein ur friendship shud matter more.....kyunki aise pyaar ke liye jisme aapko pata tak nahin hai ki saamne wala aapko chahta hai ki nahin....there is no point in suporting love...friendship shud come first....."
Ridz glances at her watch ....
Ridz:-"oh shit....ho gayi late,Mr.Varma ki class ke liye....chalo catch u up later....bye bye bye...."
She ran away without giving armaan any time to respond...
Armaan:-(disheartened)"sahin kaha riddhima,mujhe dosti nibhani chahiye.....main rahul ko mere pyaar ke baare mein kuch nahin bataonga"
But Armaan's decision was heavy on himself.....he suffocated withim him......everytime he saw riddhima,tears wud come in his eyes...as he thought of her accepting Rahul.....He cudn't bear the pain.....
Soon,Rahul's b'day arrived....he had thrown a party in "lake view"restaurant which was at a walking distance from their campus....ridz sapna were also invited.....but both had been sternly warned by rahul not to bring any single present....they ahd to agree after much reluctance.....
The party was in full swing....but one person was missing-ARMAAN......sumhow he had made an excuse and managed to convince rahul that he wudn't be able to come......The true reason was that he didn't have the courage to see his own love go away from him.....Ridz and sapna wished Rahul....Ridz's eyes were searching for armaan,but he seemes nowhere......she felt a bit lonely from him and then heard one of his friends saying ...
Ronit tto shamit:-"yeh armaan bhi na.....pata nahi kya kaam pad gaya ki campus mein hi rehna pada....aaj toh aa hi sakta tha..."
shamit:-"haan,par armaan toh armaan hi rahega"
Ridz felt a sort of void .....sapna cud sense it but she kept quiet....Riddhima(in her heart)wanted to go back to the campus and be with armaan....it had been ages since they talked their heart out.....but she knew that she cudn't leave the party in any way....RAhul had always done a lott for her....and she cud atleast be beside him on his special day....
After the Champagne bottle was opened and the cake cut....rahul decided that it was the time for action.........
Rahul:-Friends,thank u for joining me on my special day....i have a very impt announcement to make...."
Everyone looked at him.....Rahul's friends kept throwing covert glances at each other...after all they weree the only ones who knew wt was going to happen.....
Rahul slowly went upto riddhima and then it all happened in a fraction of second.....Rahul took out a ring from his pocket....knelt down and siad to ridz....
"riddhima,I LOVE U...I am totally captivated by you. I must confess, I have fallen in love with you.. I could only see myself gravitate to you.By the grace of God, I'm ready to do whatever it takes to make you happy, I promise. undeniably, I love you and cherish you for you're Angel personified.You are the only one who can make me happy with your love and affection. Since I have met you, I have noticed that life is worth living. I live mine for you.The further you go from me, the more I will love you. A heart truly in love never loses hope but always believes in the promise of love, no matter how long the time and how far the distance. There are so many ways I want to tell you that I really love you. My feelings for you are true and pure ... Loving you is something I love to do.....Will u be mine...he added holding up the ring....
Ridz felt as if she wud drop dead.....Armaan was the first thing that came to her mind.........But then she remembered the things Rahul had done for her.....he had never expected anything from her .....simply given his friendship......he was the one who was with her during her bad times with armaan.....inspite of being armaan's frind he didn't leave her side.....Ridz saw tears in his eyes....She threw a glance at sapna.....but for once sapna didn't say anything....but simply looked at ridz......she cud hear everyone clapping and asking her to say yes......Slowly she put his hand towards rahul...........
Pracap:-Armaan sitting alone...dejected....thinking abt ridz....Ridz confesses her love to armaan...
