CHARACTERS
Armaan mallik-4th year student at ST.Patricks Medical College,Mumbai.RICH,ARROGANT,RUDE to others,considers girls Time-Pass and a WASTE of time(technically speaking not interested in them at all),has never experienced love nor does he knows wt is it n yeah also ISN"T INTERESTED IN LUV.Very popular(DUDE of the college along wid his gang),but inspite of all this he has one very god quality-HE LUVS HIS FRNDS TO DEATH....
(so tht was actually a part of his character.........rest will come out bit by bit.........)
Riddhima Bharadwaj
-(not at all like in the serial)1st yr student at the same college...
She is self-confident,very practical,not overtly emotional(infact she is emotional but doesn't shows the world ,but she is not thosen senti types),she tries always tht her MIND RULES THE HEART coz she had experienced in her school-life tht heart can be very misleading!!! according to her HEART only sees wt it wants to see but mind says the right thing,she has a strong will-power,extrovert but allowas only a few frnds to be close to her coz of her experiences in the past,BELIEVES IN TRUE LOVE n according to her LOVE HAPPENS ONLY ONCE(infact she dislikes people who keep on falling in luv,n coming out of it) But lately has been Disillusioned by luv.........Luvs her frnds to death...
Atul Joshi-
1st year student at the same college,simple guy,very mature and friendly,helpful,undertanding,practical,kind(in short a frnd whom everyone wishes for-i'll open up more abt him as we move on)
Sapna Shah- 1st yr student at the same college,bit immature,riddhima' best frnd since school days(since 6th standard).both know each other inside out.....depends on riddhima for every single advice abt life....she n ridz(riddhma) share evry single thing n there hasn't been a single secret b/w (between) them till now...there is a vast difference in their characters but still both r best frnds...she is very senti, vulnerable n downright pessimist.....ridz has to work very hard to keep her optimistic n happy....
so guys,tht was just a character sketch..i'll add new chracters as the story proceeds........
The scenario is...
ST. PATRICK'S MEDICAL COLLEGE
1st july 2008,a batch of students starting off their career in medicine....all excited,nervous,jubilant,happy,confident.........myriad of feelings and emotions at wt is in store fior them.......
these r the first yr students,all fresh from high school n after months n months of preparations for their MBBS exams.....finally admission into one of India's best Private Medical College's -A DREAM COME TRUE.........
The scene starts wid ridz(riddhima) n sapna standing outside the college gates...
Ridz:- Sapna, finally hum yahan tak pahunch hi gaye,12th ke boards detehue laga hi nahin the ki yeh kabhi possible hoga...
Sapna:- woh toh hai,par yaar humne 11th se jo slog karna shuru kar diya tha,bhagwan uska kuch toh phal deta!!!!
Ridz:- sahi kaha,lekin ab yahan aakar humari zimmedari aur bhi badh jaati hai,jo determination n will power lekar aaye hai,i simple pray to god ki woh barkarar rahein n hum apne goal se kabhi naa bhatke!!!
Sapna:- Yeah true!1! par mujhe toh apna detemination abhi se bhagta hua dikh raha hai!!!!😕
Ridz:-😊Aur woh kyun????
Sapna:- humne suna hai na ki medical colleges mein KHATARNAK ragging hoti hai..........like poori poori raat morgue mein raho........im damn scraed
Ridz:- chill yaar,waise maine toh soch hi liya hai,ki jitne hadd tak hoga i'll bear ragging warna t toh mujhe jaanti hi hai,main ulta-seedha kuch bardaasht nahin karne waali jo MUJHE PASAND naa ho.....chahe woh seniors ho yaa koi aur...
Sapna:-haan haan,meri Jhansi ki Rani... ab chalein,warna late ho jaayenge!!!
Ridz:- Yeah let's go!!!!
Both enter the campus,n search their way to the class,while njoying every moment,all the hulabalooo,fun n frolic.....(waise Ridz n Sapna both r from Surat-gujarat..... so they have been alloted rooms in the girls' hostel in the campus)They luved every single detail,after all ever since their 12th std they had wanted to experience college life n bbecome independent ladies n both of them had strictly told their parents ki,they will study in a college far from gujarat n not even be in the vicinity of any known relative or acquaintance...
They finally found their class-room n entered it.they found themselves in the midst of neraly 100 unknown faces,but they weren't nervous,instead they made a firm resolution to make as many frnds as possible.Ridz n sapna took seats side by side to be close to each other on the first day n then went to a nearby bunch of boys n girls who were also in the process of introducing themselves.soon they made a bunch of frnds-well more like a group comprising of Ridz,Sapna,Atul,Ananya(boy),Nikhita,Poorva,Ankit....n few others.They all seemed to like each other from the first instant,there was an unknown bond of warmth n frndship....
they settled down,when the gong(bell) was heard.They were lucky coz soon the dean himself-Mr. shashank Gupta entered the class.They all wished each other.Mr. gupta was a respectable figure both in the college as well in the society,all due to his skill in surgery and a very good temperament.He was THE IDEAL DOCTOR!!!!
He addressed them about their responsibilities,duties ,the behaviour expected of them,n their regular schedule.....Since he was a really busy man,he left after his addressal..Then a certain Mr. mehta entered their class n distributed their regualr time-table n schedule.he was one of their professors!!!Soon as the morning passed,more n more professors came n tok their classes.They had their break cum free period at 12 noon.Before,all the first year students could come out of their classes,few seniors-4th year students came n announced that they were expected to assemble at the amphitheatre in the college campus in 2 mins.Giving this much information,they left....
The first year students realized tht the TIME for Ragging had come,it wa actually INEVITABLE but they seem to have forgotten abt in due to their interesting classes....Soon all the students including Ridz n her group assembled in the ampitheatre as told.They had to wait for nearly 25 min before the hoiety-toiety seniors arrived leisurely!!!
there were nearly 20 of them ...15 boys n 5 girls!!!And 10-12 of them were from Armaan's gang!!! Ridz eyes followed every single senior,none of them actually looked like a bully,but u never know-never judge a book by its cover,she had long realized this saying.
Her eyes finally came to a halt on a certain guy,she experienced a sudden unknown rush of feelings......sumthing she had experienced only once in her lifetime...when she was in 8th std,n a new boy had come to her class(well,tht was a case of teenage crush-she had taken nearly 4 ears to get over that boy after having really bitter experiences......But tht was it...)..Wt's this feeling!!! But she dismissed everything considering it a figment of her imagination n as usual her mind ruling the heart n telling her all this is CRAP!!!CONCENTRATE on wt ur gonna be told to do!!! Meanwhile Amaan hadn't even noticed her.....
well, the ragging began n every single 1st year student was asked to do all kinds of menial jobs-like was the path lab for a month,cleaning the bedpans,performing stool tests, accompanying the seniors during their rectal exams.... n so on..The students knew ki they had no choice....coz seniors cud become very rowdy....
sapna was given the task to clean the bedpans for a month...she wsa disgusted at the thought......but considered herself lucky as compared to Ridz who was goiven the task of spending evry night for 4 weeks at the morgue!!!!
Well,by this time Armaan had just come to know abt Ridz being one of the juniors,he paid no interest to her,infact he hardly noticed her carefully at all,she was just like any other junior ,nothing special....
*****-will armaan n ridz come to know of each others existence n also the importance of their presence for each other!!!keep reading if u wanna know!!!
