PART 36

{{RECAP:Laksh gets angry with Kt....Everyone is busy with decorating the house for the wedding...Laksh doesn't talk with Kt...Laksh falls on top of her...and a romantic scene follows...}}

NOW:

They finished decorating the house by the afternoon.....The mehndi function took place in the afternoon...And the sangeet function took place in the evening after 7 o clock.....And the next day.......

*********************BHOOMI'S WEDDING*************************

Kt dressed up and she went to Bhoomi's room with Sneha and Prachi to groom the bride....Archita and Pari were already there......Everyone were looking great in their outfits.....And soon they all helped Bhoomi to dress up....After sometime somebody knocked at the door...Kt went and opened the door...It was Laksh...

K:Tum...!Kya baat hain Laksh??
L:(pulls her outside the room)Idhar aao tum..
K:Kya kar rahe ho Laksh..?
L:(looks at her)Dekh raha hoon ki tum kitni khoobsurat lag rahi ho..
K:(blushes)Tum bhi na....Par tum abhi tak tayyar nahin huye...?
L:Well...Issilye toh....Tum mere saath aao...(pulls her along and starts walking towards his room)
K:Kya..?
L:Aao toh sahi....

Kt was thinking what the matter was and she was confused with Laksh's behaviour...He hadn't even got ready and was still in his ordinary kurta pyjama....When they reached his room, Laksh left her hand and closed the door from inside and bolted it from inside...Then he went and opened his cupboard and took out his outfit for the wedding and placed it on the bed, and he stood there and looking at it....Kt walked to the bed side...

K:(confused)Laksh,Tum mujhe yahan kyun leke aaye..?
L:(stiil looking at the dress on the bed)Woh...Main kya bataaoon Kt...(and looks at her)

Kt noticed tears in his eyes and she was really shocked....She went near him and cupped his face with her hands...

K:Kya hua Laksh..?Tum itne upset kyun ho..?
L:(wipes his tears)Kt...Kal hum log yahan se Kolkata ke liye nikal rahe hain na...
K:Haan...Par...
L:Aur hum kuch dinon ke baad humare college waapas jaayenge...right..?(Kt nods her head)Toh kya hum donon ko iss tarah se saath rehne ke mauke milenge.....?Hum donon ko jitne bhi waqt yahan par saath mein bitaane ke liye mile the na ,I don't think humein woh kahin aur milenge....When we reach our college you will be in your class and I will be in mine...After spending all these beautiful moments with you I don't want to be far from you even for a minute......(holds her shoulders with his hands)
K:(hugs him)Oh Laksh......Tum aise kyun sochte ho..?Its a really wonderful thing that we could spend all these moments with each other.....College mein waapas jaane ke baad bhi hum in palon ko yaad karenge...Aur Laksh, hum pehle bhi toh bahut khush the na humare college life se.....It will be alright...(raises her head and looks into his eyes)Tumhe tension lene ki koi zaroorat nahin hain...Samjhe tum..?
L:(smiles)Tum shaayad teek keh rahi ho...Main bhi na...(and hugs her again)
K:I love you Laksh...(and leaves him)Ab tum jaldi se tayyar ho jaao...Baaraat aane ki time tumhe aise hi rehne ka plan hain kya..?
L:(laughs)Teek hain...
K:That's like my sweet Laksh...(and kisses on his cheeks)

Then she walked out of the room....

The wedding celebrations were grand and everybody enjoyed immensely......It was the next day and Laksh,Neev,Manthan,Prachi,Kt and Sneha packed their bags and got ready to leave....The Virani's bade them farewell and they started their journey to Kolkata to visit Kt's and Manthan's place....

They reached Kt's house first....Kt went and knocked on the door..Her mom Prerna Basu came and opened the door...

Pr:(hugs Kt)Aao bachon...Andar aajaao...

Everyone greeted her and came inside...

K:Mama..Papa kahan hain...?Aaj Sunday hain na...
Pr:Haan Kt..Anurag ghar par hi hain...Main jaake use bulaati hoon...Tum log baitho na...

After sometime Prerna came with Anurag....Anurag came to Kt and hugged her...

An:Kt,ab tum mujhe apne dosthon se milwaao...
K:Papa yeh Neev,Manthan,Laksh,Sneha aur Prachi...
Pr:Toh yeh hain Prachi aur Neev jo ek doosre se pyar karte hain aur jald hi shaadi karne waale hain...Am I right Prachi..?
P:(blushes)Haan Aunty...
P:Kt tum sab logon ke baare mein bahut baatein karti hain...(then to Sneha)Aur tum ho uski roommate and close friend...
S:Haan(smiles)
An:Aur yeh hain Manthan aur Laksh jo Neev ke classmates hain aur Kt ke bahut ache dosth bhi....
M&L:Haan Uncle...
An:Ab dekho na...Kt talks about all of you everytime when we call her and we wanted to meet you all...Its really nice that you all came...
P:Tum log baatein karo aur main abhi aayi...

She went to the kitchen and brought fresh juice for everyone......After having that, everyone decided to freshen up and Prerna asked Kt to show them their rooms........Kt took everyone to their respective rooms....At last only Laksh's room was left...Kt led him to his room...

K:Laksh,yeh hain tumhaare room...Ab tum fresh ho jaao....Aur ab main apne room mein jaa rahi hoon...(turns to leave)
L:Kt...
K:(turns back)Kya hua Laksh..?
L:Tumhaare parents humaare shaadi ke liye raazi honge na...
K:(didn't know what to say)I hope so Laksh...(and walks to him)Main mama se baat karoongi humaare rishte ke baare mein...
L:(hugs her)Thakur ji humaare saath hain Kt...Everything will be alright...

After showing Laksh's room she came to her room....She went to the bathroom to freshen up...She had a quick shower and came out into the room wearing her bathrobe...Suddenly she heard a knock at the door...

K:Kaun...?
Pr:Main hoon beta...

Kt went and opened the door...Prerna came inside...When she looked at Kt, she saw that her hair was dripping wet...

Pr:Kya hai yeh Kt...
K:Kya mama..?
Pr:Towel do...
K:(hands her the towel)Par..
Pr:Chup chap khadi reh...samjhi tum...?

Then she began to pat her hair dry with the towel....

Pr:Teek tarah se baal ko poncha(dry) bhi nahin...What if you catch cold...?
K:Mama...Main woh ponchne hi waali thi...
Pr:Haan..Haan..Badi aayi apne khayal rakhne wali...Pata nahin hostel mein kya kya karti hogi...(finshed drying Kt's hair)
K:Kya mama..Aap bhi na...
Pr:Kya zaroorat thi beta itni door jaane ki...Yahan Kolkata mein hi padh sakti thi na tu...(tears filled her eyes)I missed you beta...
K:Oh mama..(and hugs her)Par mere course toh yahin kahin bhi nahin the na....
Pr:Haan..Jaanti hoon...
K:(leaves Prerna and wipes her mom's tears)Mama....I love you so much(and kisses on her cheek)Mere padhaai jald hi khatam honge...
Pr:Teek hain..Ab tu tayyar hoja..Aur neeche aajaa...Aur haan apne friends ko bhi bulaale...(and turns to walk out)
K:Err...Mama...
Pr:(turns back)Kya baat hain beta...?
K:Maa, mujhe aapse ek bahut zaroorat baat karni hain...
Pr:(walks to her)Hmm...Kaho...
K:(shows the bed)Yahan baithiye na...

Both of them sat on the bed...But Kt couldn't start the topic...She sat on the bed near Prerna and was looking onto the floor,since she couldn't meet her mom's eyes...

PART 38

{{RECAP:Kt tells Prerna about her relationship with Laksh...She was happy about it and she told about it to Anurag who also gave consent for their marriage..When Anurag asks Laksh about his parents, Anurag comes to know that Sahil was his best friend during college days...Anurag is so happy and he asks Sahil to get Kt and Laksh married...Everyone is happy... }}

It was night time and everybody was going to sleep.....Kt was lying on her bed and she couldn't stop smiling..She was wearing a night shirt and pyjama..She couldn't believe that their marriage was fixed........The thoughts of marrying Laksh made her smile even wider...Suddenly she heard a message tone from her cell phone...She took it and opened the new message...It was Laksh...He wrote "Sweetheart...I am really happy tonight...Love you a lot...I am waiting for our college to be over soon so that we can get married...Kt,can I come to your room now...?"

Kt blushed seeing this message...She wrote "Noway Laksh...What if someone sees you...?And by the way I am also very much happy Laksh...Love you.....ummmmmmuaaaaaaaaah......." and then she send it to Laksh's cell...

Again the message tone was heard...She opened the message and saw "Kt..I would like to give you a return kiss...But directly to you...not through this message..."

She laughed seeing this message and send back "Goodnight...Sweetdreams..." message.Then she closed her eyes and soon she was asleep.......After what seemed like hours she woke up suddenly because of some bad dream...She sat up on her bed and was panting hard...She tried to remember what she had seen in the dream...Some could remember some goons chasing her and while running she had fallen into a deep pit.....And that was why she suddenly got up...Now she felt really thirsty..She looked for the water jug which she thought she had filled in before going to sleep...But when she took it from the bedside table there was no water in it...She understood that she had even forgot to fill water in the jug due to her extreme happiness....She thought "Oh no!Now I will have to go down to the kitchen and drink water...Kya museebat hain...!"She got up with the empty jug in her hand...She came out of her room and walked to the staircase...When she passed Laksh's room she couldn't resist her smile..She walked down the staircase and reached the kitchen...She went inside and switched on the light.Then she drank some water and filled water in the jug...Sudenly she heard the sound of rain outside....She loved rains......She kept the jug there and walked to the window.....When she opened the window, the wind blew inside and the rain droplets also flew towards her..She was enjoying the sensation and suddenly she heard it..."Click" Somebody switched off the light inside the kitchen and all went dark...She was startled and she turned to see who it was...She could see an outline of the person who was in the kitchen other than her...

K:(shouted)Kaun hai..?

The person came near her and pinned her to the window side wall with one hand on her shoulder and closed her mouth with the other hand...

P:Shhhhh!!Main hoon Laksh....(and took the hand from her mouth)
K:(relieved hearing his voice)Laksh..!!Oh!Main toh darr hi gayi thi...Kya zaroorat thi tumhe light off karne ki...?
L:Shhhh....Maine kaha tha na tumse ki main tumhe kuch directly dene waala hoon...toh woh dene aaya hoon...(and he moved his face closer to her face)
K:Kya..??Please Laksh..Jaane do na...Koi aajaayega...
L:Koi nahin aayega...

Then he held her chin with his free hand and slowly kissed her left cheek.....then right cheek...The wind was blowing hard and her beautiful hair was all over his face...He smelled the refreshing fragrance of her hair....Then he kissed her beautiful hair..A lightning flashed and illuminated their faces for some seconds...Laksh surveyed her beautiful dark eyes and she too was lost in his passionate blue eyes...As if hypnotized, she moved her lips towards his lips....Suddenly a thunder cracked and she leapt into his arms and hugged him.....

L:(laughs)Kya Kt...?Itni darrpok ho tum..?
K:(placing her face close to his chest and hugging him tightly)Har koi darta hain thunder ki awaaz se...
L:Acha...?Main nahin darta... (Kt leaves him and looks into his face)....Waise tum mujhe ek kiss dene waali thi na abhi...!!Uss thunder ne toh woh moment bhi kharaab kar diya...Hain na Kt....?
K:(realised that she was about to kiss him on his lips before that thunder cracked...She blushed..Then she snapped)Aa ha ha..Kuch nahin dene waali thi main.....(she pushed him and ran towards the door)
L:(switched on the light)Arre Kt....Yeh toh lekar jaao...(takes the jug)
K:(turned and saw him holding the jug)Oh!!Main toh bhool hi gayi thi...(and walks to him)

She quickly took the jug from him and walked towards the staircase...Laksh switched off the light and walked fastly to reach near her....They began to walk up the staircase together..

K:(smiling)Waise tum kitchen mein kyun aaye the..?
L:(smiling widely)Woh mein tumhein dekha tha waterjug lekar neeche jaate huye...
K:Par kab..?Main jab tumhare kamre ke saamne se gayi, tab toh darwaaza bandh tha...
L:Jab tum woh staircase se neeche utar rahi thi na, tab main apne kamre se nikla...Kyun ki mujhe neendh nahin aa raha tha...
K:Laksh mein bhi neendh se uth gayi thi..I had a bad dream...Kya, tumne bhi koi sapna dekha?
L:I could't even sleep till now....Phir kisi sapna kaise dekhoonga..?
K:(stopped walking)Kya..?Kuch pareshaani hain kya...?
L:(smiled and held her free hand closer to his chest)Kuch zyaada hi khush tha main...Issiliye so nahin paa raha tha...

They were standing in front of Laksh's room...Laksh smiled and left her hand. Then he opened his door and got inside his room and turned before closing the door...Kt was still there looking at him and she was thinking over his words...

L:Goodnight...(smiled)
K:Goodnight...(smiled looking into his eyes)

And then he closed the door....

It was next day morning....Kt got up early in the morning...She bathed and changed her dress and went downstairs to the kitchen..Her mom was there busy with cooking...She hugged Prerna from behind and kissed on her cheek..

K:Goodmorning Mama...
Pr:Goodmorning beta...
K:Main aapki madat karti hoon..

And then she began to help her Mom..Soon the breakfast was ready....

Pr:Ab tum jaake apne friends ko bulaao...
K:Teek hain Mama..

Kt was in good spirits and she climbed the staircase humming some songs...She went and woke up Sneha,Prachi,Manthan and Neev and send each of them to their wash rooms to freshen up...Then she went to Laksh's room....Laksh was sleeping peacefully on his bed....She knew that he had slept late in the night and she didn't have the mind to wake him up...She went and sat on his bed...He looked cute with his tousled hair...He was hugging a pillow and was lying huddled to it...She understood that he was feeling chilled due to the cold climate as it had rained the previous night...She pulled the blanket over him and she planted a sweet kiss on his forehead....Then she tried to get up and she found that one of her hands were trapped inside Laksh's hands while she covered him with the blanket..She tried to pull it slowly without disturbing him, but she couldn't.... So she decided to sit there itself till he woke up...She sat there and looked on to his handsome face...A tiny smile appeared on her lips as she thought about the moments they spend together in the kitchen the previous night...Laksh mumbled in his sleep "I love you Kt..Main tumhe kabhi chod kar nahin jaaoonga..."And he opened his eyes slowly and saw Kt in front of him...

L:Kt...?
K:(smiled)Goodmorning Laksh..
L:(tried to get up and found her hand trapped inside his hold)Goodmorning Kt...Par tumhare haath...kaise?Main..(leaves her hand)Tum yahan kab se..?
K:(kept her finger on his lips)Shhh...Main yahan tumhe uthaane ke liye kuch der pehle aayi thi...Tum so rahe the..Tum raat ko der se soye the na..Toh jab maine tumhare upar yeh blanket daali tab tumne mere haath pakadliya tha...So I waited here for you to get up...
L:Tum mere kitne khayaal rakhti ho Kt..?!(touched her finger and kissed on it)
K:Ab tum jaldi se fresh ho jaao...aur neeche aajaao...Breakfast is ready...(and she gets up)
L:Ok...

Kt left the room....
