SCENE 10

Recap: Sahil baata ta hai Lakshya ko Ganga ka haal, aur che mahine baqi hain. Kt karti hai Lakshya ko phone aur vahan pata lagta hai ke Lakshya ki maa ko cancer hai..ab aage

LOCATION: LAKHSYA'S HOME

[Sleepless, Lakshya thinks throughout the night, he reminices his childhood with his mom. He thinks of his first steps that were taken with the help of his mother's hands, he remembers how his mother advised him during his teenage years, he wonders who will guide him now. The darkness seems to last forever as there is no light for hope. Only time is given, make the most of it, or repent. Lakshya decided to not waste time and live a thousand lives in these last six months and be the son that she's always wanted]

*dawn breaks as Lakshya didn't sleep the entire night, still sitting on the living room floor with his dad's voice echoing in his head "Cancer"*

*footsteps are heard coming towards where Lakshya was sitting*

a voice calls out: Lakshya...

*Lakshya slowly shuts his eyes and tears fall out as he hears his mother's voice*

*Ganga walks to where Lakshya is sitting and sits on a chair next to him*

*Ganga lightly places her hand on Lakshya's head, slowly patting it*

Ganga: pata hai Lakshya, jab tum ne pehla kadam liya tha toh kitne kasske(tightly) meri ungali pakadi thi, taaki tum gir na jao, *slightly laughs* aise lagta tha ke tu mera haanth kabhi nahin chhodne wala

*more tears fall from Lakshya's eyes*

Ganga: meine tab faisala kiya tha ke ek Maa hone ke naate mein tujhe kabhi nahin girne doongi, tumhare har kadam par mein tujhe hosla doongi...

*Lakshya looks away from his mother not wanting to show her how much he was hurting*

Ganga: *slighly laughs* main bhi kaise Maa hoon na, na sambhal saki na hi girne se bacha saki, aapne bacche ko adhe raaste pe chhod rahi hoon

*Lakshya breaks into full tears and Ganga places his head on her lap as she also silently crys*

[scene ends]
