Part 5
Anjali, Vivan, Angad, and Kripa all packed and it was time for the road trip. They were going to Las Vegas, Nevada and they were in Boston, Massachusetts. That was pretty far!
Kripa and Angad were in one car and Vivan and Anjali were in Vivan's SUV. Of course Kripa was very, very annoyed when she found out she had to stay with the man that she hated. The man who was so irritating!

And the road trip begins... Angad and Kripa both sat in Angad's car, "Angad...you better not annoy me!!" Kripa said when they sat in the car. "I won't" Angad seemed to like Kripa behaviour! It was 10 am and Kripa, Vivan, Anjali, and Angad were off. Kripa put on the radio, "Turn it off" Angad whined! "NO!" Kripa yelled turning the volume higher. "YES!" Angad turned it off. "HELL NO KHANNA!" She said. "YES!" Angad stopped the car. "Why did you stop the car!" Kripa asked annoyed. "Because you won't shut up!" Angad said rudely. "Whatever!" Kripa replied. Angad started the car once again and drove off. Two hours passed and they didn't speak to each other, finally Angad broke the ice. "Are you hungry?" Angad asked while grinning. "Starve!" She yelled. "I know...but wait in line. A lot of girls are hungry for my love!" Angad smirked. Kripa just rolled her eyes and listened to her Lime green iPod. Angad snatched the iPod away from her and put it in his pocket. "What the hell ANGAD. Give it back!" Kripa yelled trying to get to his pocket. Suddenly, Angad lost control of his car and BOOM. The car hit a tree and that was the end of their so-called road trip Kripa thought. "I-I-I'm s-s-sorry." Kripa was about of cry, Angad punched the window he was about to yell something, but stopped. "A-A-Angad a-are you al-all r-right?" Kripa asked concerned. Angad just yelled ironically: YES! KRIPA IM ALL RIGHT. YOU FREAKING BUSTED MY CAR, AND IM TOTALLY FINE!! Kripa started sobbing quietly while Angad swore under his breath. He got out of the car and looked at the damage. It would take about a day to fix, Angad assumed. He called Vivan that they were going to come a day later. He called the mechanic and just hoped, while Kripa sat in the car thinking of her life before she moved to Boston.
Flash back...
"Angad stop I'm serious" Kripa cried out while Angad tickled her. Kripa fell on the bed and Angad fell on top of her. "Angad you weigh like 500 lbs get off me. I'm too young to die!" Kripa said turning him on. "Oh really..." Angad started kissing her neck. "Angad stop" Kripa said amused. "Kripa I love you" Angad said. "I love you too" Kripa said "Now get off before dad see's you..." Kripa added. "Okay...just give me a second. He went bit Kripa's ear and ran away, leaving a shocked Kripa behind. Kripa rubbed her ear, and noticed Angad had just given her a love bite. Kripa blushed and covered the bite with her hair.

Kripa thoughts were broken when Angad came and asked: Kripa can you get out. The mechanics here?" "Huh- o-okay." Kripa quickly wiped her tears and got out of the car.
The mechanic took the car and Angad told Kripa: We could roam around the city for a while...?
"Oh sure..." Kripa said quietly. It struck 2 pm and Angad and Kripa didn't speak. "Kripa I'm sorry..."Angad said. Kripa looked at him and smiled and said: Its okay. It was my fault. That was the beginning to their new friendship. "Friends again" Angad said. "Just friends" Kripa said. "That will change" Angad winked at her. Kripa just grinned and thought about their old relationship. "Angad lets go to the nearest beach" Kripa suggested. "all right" Angad said and they both walked to the nearest beach. Kripa ran into the water, while Angad just walked behind her. "Angad come over in the water" Kripa yelled. Angad came in and Kripa and Angad started splashing each other, "Angad stop splashing me" Kripa cried out. "NO!" Angad stared splashing her more making her wet all over. "Angad stop—"Kripa got cut off by Angad. "Your such a baby!" Angad laughed. "NO!" Kripa shouted. Yes! Angad shouted back. Finally Kripa managed to get out of the water and run away. "Kripa..." Angad shouted for her. Kripa showed him her tongue and ran further. Angad ran after her, and caught up to her. He held Kripa's hand to make her stop. Both of them panting, they looked in each other's eyes. Ultimately Kripa looked away. "Kripa you run fast..." He said. "No Anghu you're just too slow" Kripa said grinning, she use to call Angad Anghu when they were young. "Kripa don't call me that!" Angad whined. "Fine Anghu..."Kripa giggled. "That's it" Angad said smirking. He went to Kripa's ear and bit it lightly. Kripa just stared into his eyes. Kripa's eyes filled up, but she controlled her tears. Angad just realised what he did and kept quite. "I-I'm sorry Kripa" His voice cracked. "It's okay" She said and pecked him frivolously on the cheek. They both came out of the water and went to eat.

They roamed around the city for the rest of the day until it was 8 pm.
"Kripa I think we need to find a hotel. The car is going to come back from the mechanic tomorrow morning." Angad said. "Sure...um...I think I saw a hotel nearby. Let's go see if they have rooms?" Kripa said. "Yea" Angad agreed. They both walked to the nearest hotel, which was pretty nice. "Can I have 2 rooms" Angad asked. "Sure" The receptionist answered. She gave two cards Kripa's room was 280, while Angad's was 290. Angad handed Kripa the card and they both went into their rooms.
Angad fell on his bed, and snoozed off. Kripa mean while took a bath and thought of her life with Angad before....



Flash back...
Kripa walked into her house and saw a man in his 40's, a woman in her late 30's, and a guy who was tall handsome and of course... Angad. She greeted them and went upstairs to her sister and asked her: Kajjal, why are these people here?
Kajjal giggled and spoke: You know the tall handsome guy. Dad and mom want you to marry him.
"What" Kripa exclaimed. "Yes!" Kajjal shouted and gave Kripa a sister hug and kissed her cheek. Kripa's mom came in "Kripa, wear this and come down stairs." Maya ordered handing her a pink sari. "Why?" Kripa whined, "Because people are here to see you!" Maya kissed her cheek and went down stairs. "Kripa dis... have fun!" Kajjal winked. Kripa just gave Kajjal cut eyes and went to the washroom to wear the sari. "How do I look?!" Kripa asked when she came out. "Wow! Di you look awesome" Kajjal said amazed.
Kripa went down stairs and sneaked into the kitchen, to her mom. "Why are you here, go sit beside Angad" Maya whispered. "Whose Angad?" Kripa whispered cutely. "The boy that wants to marry you" Maya grinned. Kripa obediently went and sat beside Angad and his mom. "Kripa take Angad to your room" Kripa's dad Rajesh said. Kripa unquestioningly took Angad to her room. "Nice to meet you Kripa" Angad smiled and then winked at her. "Hi Angad." Kripa accepted his wink and just blushed. And that's when Angad went to Kripa's ear and whispered: "Will you marry me?"
Kripa blushed and nodded, she liked Angad a lot! But didn't love him yet... Angad smiled cutely, and gave Kripa a light peck on the lips, a shocked Kripa spoke: "I think we should go down stairs." "That sounds good..." Angad happily agreed and they both went downstairs. The Khanna's left and soon enough it was only Kripa, Maya, Rajesh, and Kajjal. They all sat for dinner. A eager Kajjal blurted out: DO YOU LIKE HIM DI?!! Kripa blushed and ignored Kajjal. Kajjal was Kripa's younger sister, who was 16 years old. Mean while Kripa was 21 years old. Angad was a few months older then Kripa. "How did you like Angad?" Maya asked. "Tell us Kripa" Rajesh spoke. "Hmmm... he was---" Kripa couldn't say anymore and she ran up to her room. Kajjal followed her while Maya and Rajesh just laughed at Kripa's nervousness. "Tell me di I won't tell anyone do you like Angad or should I say "Jiju." Kajjal hugged Kripa from behind. "Hmmm...Kajjal if you tell anyone I'll kill you ok" Kripa said. "I won't di" Kajjal reassured Kripa. "Um...He asked me to marry him and I said yes and---"Kripa hesitated to tell her big mouth sister. Kajjal leaned forward and said: And what..?
Kripa looked away and said quietly: He kissed me...!
"Oh my god! Di are you serious!" Kripa nodded and they both giggled. Maya came in: Kripa did you like Angad?! She asked keenly. "Umm..." Kripa blushed. "Mom...Kripa likes Angad and wants to marry him!" Kajjal revealed. Kripa just looked at Kajjal. "Sorry!" Kajjal mouthed. "Is that true Kripa?" Maya asked flabbergasted. "Um..I-" Kripa nodded and blushed. "Omg! That's so awesome!" Maya swung Kripa around in joy! "Kajjal clapped happily. Suddenly Rajesh came in:"What's all this noise?!"
"Omg! you wouldn't believe it...Angad and Kripa like each other a lot." In other words Maya was saying Kripa agreed to the marriage. "Is this true Kripa?" He asked. Kripa nodded and hugged Rajesh. Rajesh kissed her fore head and hugged her very excited.

The next morning Kripa woke up happy, and sad. Happy because she really liked Angad a lot. Sad because she was going to miss her parents and Kajjal. Kajjal and her annoying conversations of "Arjun Rampal." She sighed and got out of bed. She made her bed, and then picked up her pink and white striped towel. She headed to the washroom, and took a good 2 hour shower. She came out wearing a black mini-skirt and a hot pink tank-top. She went down the stairs to the kitchen where her mom was making breakfast. "Hey mum!" She said cheerfully. "Kripa, today we have to go meet Angad. To pick the wedding date."Maya handed her a cup of coffee. Kripa took the mug and heard Kajjal come downstairs. She was wearing white shorts and a yellow tank-top. "Hey Kripa..." Kajjal winked at Kripa. Making Kripa blush, "Shut up!" She whispered to Kajjal. Kripa and Kajjal smiled and the door bell rang. "I'll get it" Kripa said walking to the door. She opened the door and saw a grinning Angad check her out from head to toe. "Hey!" he said. "Hi!" She said shyly. She un-blocked the way and let Angad in. "Mum...Angad's here..." Kripa whispered as she brushed past Maya. "Oh...hello Angad what brings you here?" She greeted him. "I was just wondering if i could take Kripa out for the day. I will drop her off after dinner." Angad asked hopefully. Before Maya could say something a very deep voice came from the living room: "Sure, sure. We don't mind!" Rajesh said patting Angad on the back. Kripa just sighed and went with Angad in his "Black Lexus." After a few minutes of an awkward silence Angad spoke: "Your parents told my parents that you really like me" He added: "Is that true...?"
"I-I-I-"Kripa stuttered. Angad put his index-finger on Kripa's lips, "Shhh, I like you too!" He practically whispered loudly! They arrived at the beach. Kripa and Angad got out and started walking over to the sand. Angad didn't vacillate and slipped his hand around Kripa's waist. They sat themselves near the water, hearing and watching the waves hit the shore. Kripa rested her shoulder... "Hmmm..." She said. Angad just held Kripa close, so they were breathing the same air. Angad bent down and kissed her neck once or twice. Kripa turned around, so they were facing each other. That's when Kripa had fallen for him, and that's when Angad had fallen for Kripa! They stared in each other's eyes. Kripa put her hand on his cheek and caressed it. "I love you" Angad said lightly. "I love you too" Kripa hugged him. They both slowly got up and walked on the sad that was wet. "Angad..." Kripa said quietly, and evenly. "Hmm...what?" Angad said putting his hand around her waist. "Do you like me the way a I am...?" Kripa said looking up at him. "Yea, Kripa" He said looking down at her. "Nothing..." Kripa sighed. Angad sighed as well, "Hey you want ice cream?" Angad said pointing to the ice cream stand in the distance. Kripa nodded they both walked to the ice cream stand, and ordered. Kripa of course ordered Vanilla, while Angad unpredictably ordered Vanilla as well. "Thanks Angad!" Kripa kissed him on the cheek. "You're welcome Sweetie!" Angad said politely. After they finished their ice cream they went to a near-by water-fall. Kripa sat on Angad's lap, on one of the rocks. Angad gently nestled her neck and played with her hair. Kripa was very awkward, rather than captivated or immersed. She slowly moved her neck away and faced Angad, she smiled shyly and rested her head on his chest. "I love you Angad, don't ever leave me!" She said hugging him closely. "I won't" He reassured her.

When they left the water-fall it was approximately 2 pm. Kripa insisted on them going home, but Angad did not agree. So, they went to the mall instead. They randomly walked into the first shop, which happened to be a shop for baby clothes. Kripa blushed as Angad winked at her. He went down to her ear and said: I want 4 babies. 2 girls named "Rhea", and "Diya", and 2 boys named "Arjun" and "Arun." Kripa lifted one of her brow: "I don't think so..." She walked away from him. He walked to her "We will see, I know after marriage you wouldn't be able to keep your hands off me" He winked. "Kripa, you have to listen to your To-Be-Husband. I want to pamper you when you're pregnant, laugh at you when you get plump and heavy!"
"We will see Mr. Khanna" Kripa walked away coy. Angad smirked and followed her. "Wait up..." He called. Kripa turned around giggled and ran out of the mall. "Wait...Krip—" Before he could finish saying her name she was out the door, leaving Angad grinning. He ran after her, while Kripa ran into a creek. He smiled and then kept following her. Finally he caught her by the waist. He spun her around and then picked her up. Kripa put her hands around Angad's neck. That lead to a very cavernous and throbbing kiss! Angad put her down and held her close, Kripa groaned in his mouth. His tongue explored Kripa's mouth. There tongues met and rubbed together teasing each other. A weak Kripa moved back, Angad moved foward. The kept alternating when Kripa felt a tree behind her. She pushed Angad away and turned her face, holding the tree-trunk with her arms. Gasping, and panting hard! "I'm sorry...Ang— " Kripa said.
"I love you Kripa..." he said kissing her fore head affectionately. Kripa opened her mouth to say something, but Angad put his index finger on her lips. "Shh...Let's go get dinner." Angad said pulling her out of the creek. Kripa nodded and followed him.

They had dinner, and Angad was driving Kripa home. He reached her house. "Bye" He said giving a kiss on her cheek. "Bye..." Kripa bashfully gave him a peck on the cheek and left for the door. Kripa opened the door with her key and saw Kajjal greeting her with her hands on her hip and nodding her head. "Looks likes Romeo, finally brought you back"
"Uh, yea" Kripa said gawkily and ran up to her room.

They next morning Kripa woke up and remembered how Angad and her kissed last night. Blushing by that she got up happily and humming and singing bits romantic songs. She giggled and took her towel and went into the washroom. She took a shower and came out smelling like Lavender and fresh. It was Sunday. Every Sunday Kripa and Kajjal would wear traditional clothing. Kripa wrapped a towel around her naked body and looked though her wardrobe. "Hmm..." She exclaimed holding a plain lime green "Kameez," and a white "Salwaar." She got the matching dupatta and soon she was wearing the "Salwaar, Kameez suit." Leaving her hair out she went down stairs happily and saw her mother looking through "saris" for her. Kripa grinned knowing she was going to have a price-less wardrobe after her marriage! She hugged her mother form the back and said: "I love you!" Kripa kissed Maya cheek and sat down beside her. "Kripa, you know you will have to change your habits when you get married..." Maya started a conversation about her marriage. "I'm not going to change!" Kripa said doggedly. "You will have to..." Maya kissed her cheek and got up. I'm going to change! Kripa thought and Kajjal came downstairs screaming and yelling. "Mom, MOM, MOMMY!!" She said wearing a turquoise "Kameez," and pale white "Salwaar." "What is it" Maya called. "Jiju called he invited us for lunch." Kajjal said knowing the word "Jiju" was going to make Kripa redden!
"Oh...okay, yes Naina (Angad's mom) informed me earlier. They want to discuss the wedding date. Kripa rolled her eyes and continued to think about her life after marriage. Kajjal went and sat beside Kripa. "So...did ur beloved hubby kiss you" she said smirking. "Kajjal get lost I'm not telling you anything!" Kripa whispered loudly. "Oh...he didn't, that's bad news. So how you feeling you and Angad, Angad and you...in one room. Making love as they call it!!" Kajjal spoke quietly so only Kripa and she could hear. "Shut up! Don't talks about me and your "Jiju" like this?" Kripa whispered. She didn't realise what she just said. She knew Kajjal wasn't going to let go of her last statement. "Ohh, I'm sorry Kripa did I didn't mean to hurt you and your hubby-wubby" Kajjal shook her head and went upstairs to her room. Kripa turned on the T.V and started watching her favourite show "Friends" and then watched "Ugly Betty." Soon it was 1 pm and everyone was getting ready for the lunch. "Kripa wear this." Maya handed her a dark blue sari, with silver embroidery. The sari had a halter blouse. She lavished her look by wearing white gold earrings that kissed her neck when they dangled. She left her hair normal and she was ready! She needed very less make-up to make her look good. She had natural beauty! She looked simple yet fancy...

They all arrived at the Khanna residence. Greeted by Naina and Dilip! Angad came fashionably late, which Kripa thought was rude. But totally forgetting that part when she saw him dressed in black faded jeans, with a "Phat Farm" Golf shirt. They all sat Kajjal, Kripa, and Angad on one long sofa. "Maya and Rajesh, on a love-seat couch. Naina and Dilip also on a love-seat couch. Angad kept on nudging Kripa. While Kripa ignored that and hid her smile. Angad put his hand behind Kripa's back and caressed it. Kripa hesitated but knew she couldn't move or else her parents will find out. Kajjal who was aware of all this happening just smiled at how cutely Angad sat smiling playing with Kripa's hair. Kripa rolled her eyes, she didn't know why but after the kiss they shared yesterday, she didn't really trust Angad. Her thought were broken when Naina told Angad to take Kripa to his room. Abruptly the front door swung open and there stood there Arun Khanna, Angad's younger brother. He was a well fit man, looking very handsome and hot form Kajjal POV. He greeted everyone and sat beside Kajjal. Angad and Kripa went upstairs to Angad's room in the mean time. Angad took Kripa to his room, and closed the door. Kripa sat on Angad's bed and Angad sat beside her, they both linked their fingers in each other's fingers. They sat like that for a while when Kripa was getting bored so she got up to leave. Angad grabbed her hand and pulled her into his lap. Kripa lowered her eyes and blushed. Her "sari pallu" slide off her upper body. Revealing her bare stomach. A flushed Kripa tried to put her "pallu" back on her but it was no use. Angad had tightened his grip. He put Kripa down beside him on the bed and covered her with the "pallu." By that Kripa started trusting Angad more and more. She fell in love with him more. More than ever. She got up and joined her lips with Angad's. It was an ideal impassionate kiss. Kripa broke apart blushed and ran downstairs.
Soon they all ate and Kajjal, Kripa, Rajesh, and Maya came home. The wedding was fixed more the day after tomorrow, that meant Tuesday. The wedding was really near because Naina and Dilip had to go to India for important circumstances. Krip and Angad hesitated a little they wanted the wedding to be a month away. But, their parents did not agree.
Monday...
Everything was so busy in the Khanna residence. The preparations of the wedding were going on. Naina was getting frustrated by everything!

Kripa woke up flushed and flustered. It was the day of her marriage. She sighed loudly, and got out of bed...
Coming out of the bathroom wearing a heavy pink and green Salwaar-Kameez for her mehandi ritual. She came to the living room, looking simple and ravishing! "Omg! I'm going to miss you so much di!!" Kajjal said ready to cry. " I'm going to miss you too Kaj!" Kripa hugged Kajjal. "Kripa, come over here. Get you mehandi done" Maya called hiding her tears. Kripa submissively went to her mother and sat beside her to get her mehandi done. "I love you mum" She hugged her mother. Tears streaming from her eyes. "Don't cry Kripa..." Maya wiped her tears holding hers back. Kripa got her mehandi done and LOOKED AT IT. She was amazed how Angad's name was hidden in it. Even she couldn't find it, but Kajjal pointed it out for her! =] It was 10 am and Kripa had laughed and cried. She didn't want to get married! =[

The preparations had been made the wedding was happening at the Sharma residence! Kripa sat there in front of the mirror, looking stunning. She wore a baby pink lehnga with lime green embroidery. With matching jewellery, she didn't wear much make-up, which gave her a very natural look and glow. She came downstairs with Kajjal and her mother beside her. She stopped mid-way and turned around and hugged Kajjal and started crying! Tears flowed down her cheek like rain was its flowing from the sky. Kajjal calmed her, and told her to go down. Kripa was wiped her tears, but that didn't help more flowed from her eyes uncontrollably. Just then a voice stuck every ones attention: "I CAN'T DO THIS! I WILL NOT MARRY KRIPA!!!!" It was non other then Angad. Everyone turned to his voice in shock. Kripa dreams crashed right in front of her. Why did Angad do this to her????!!!
Maya and Rajesh hurried to Angad: "What's wrong?" Maya asked apprehensive. "What's wrong Angad?" Rajesh said concerned. "I CANNOT DO THIS MARRAGE!! I HATE KRIPA SHARMA!" Angad shouted.
Hearing those words Kripa ran upstairs to her room. She sat in front of the mirror and took of all her jewellery, while crying! Kajjal ran after Kripa and calmed her down, but Kripa just stared at her mehandi, she said Angad's name over and over again! Kripa hugged Kajjal: "Kajjal why does this always happen to me??!!"
Kajjal just said: "Because god doesn't want you to go away from us"
Kripa wiped her tears and kissed Kajjal cheek, and went to the washroom to wash off her mehandi. But it was too late Angad's name was stuck there for a few more months!
Kripa gradually forgot Angad, and moved on with her life. She didn't want to stay back in Florida, so she moved to Boston. That's where she rented an apartment with a room-mate, and the room-mate was none other than ANGAD!!!
