"Oh my goodness!!! Hum itne important mission pe jaa rahe hain isiliye maine tumse kaha tha vo file theek se padh lena…….how the hell can you be so careless Aalekh??"

"Mai theek hun!! Bas aapko thanks kehne aayi thi"

"Thanks…..the weirdest word ever created!!"

"Meri koi behen nahi hai Naina, I consider you as my sister……aur apno se thanks sun na mujhe bilkul pasand nahi"

Naina smiled and took a leave. She stepped out in the open air and took a deep breath.

"Mai theek hun Captain Mishra. Aap aur Captain Sharma kab nikalne wale hain??"

"Kal subah, finally!!"

This very thought of her conversation with Captain Mishra last night brought a smile to her. She believed firmly that she'll be with the love of her life very soon and that he would be fine. She closed her eyes with that smile intact.

"Nainaaaaaa…………" Rajveer shouted as he was shot.

Those dreadful moments began striking her once again!! She opened her eyes in shock and decided to divert her attention from all this. She asked Nandini and she allowed her to visit the nearby orphanage. As she entered, she felt light as she saw children playing around. But one child stood all alone in the corner that was looking at her constantly. She called him but he ran away…..Naina was amused at his innocence and was reminded of the child she met when she met Rajveer.

"Why the hell are you here Naina?? Tum is sab me kaise involved ho??" Asked Rajveer.

"First of all, as a journalist, and secondly, as your partner's sister!!" She answered.

"Stop giving me reasons all right!! I'll drop you at a safe place aur tum chali jaana…" He was literally shouting and due to that, the child started crying.

"Dekha!! Aapne ise bhi rula diya……Mujhe bhi rulayenge kya??"

Rajveer gave her a "What nonsense!!" kind of look as Naina explained her involvement through Navin's letter.

"Has he lost it??? Navin itni badi bevakoofi kaise kar sakta hai??"

"Look Captain Shekhawat, aap mujhe baad me daant lena!! But first of all, hume is bachche ko uski family ke paas pahunchana chahiye……Don't you agree with me??"

Rajveer stepped towards the child and went on his knees, "Kya naam hai tumhara??" He said while brushing through his hair.

The child stepped back, trying to hide beside Naina and held her arm tightly.

"Ye darr gaya aapse!!" She giggled.

Rajveer stood up and looked straight into Naina's eyes, "Navin was right……tum kabhi bhi kuch bhi bolti ho!!" Saying this he turned back again but to his surprise, the child ran and cling to him and Rajveer picked him up.

"Lagta hai ab ye mere mazak ka bura maan gaya!! By the way….you seem to be good with kids Captain!!" She commented.

Rajveer directed towards the exit but before leaving, he asked, "Tum chalogi??"

"Nahi………aap ise chod aaiye, mai yahiin intezaar karungi!!" She came closer, kissed the child and said, "Haan!! Ab aap jaaiye!!"

Rajveer smiled, trying best to hide it from Naina. And she was happy for that the child was safe and so was her brother's friend.
