IMPORTANT NOTE

Well guys I'm really glad you all liked this update, good news anyway, hopefully the next update will be posted either tomorrow or thursday. All I can say is that the next part will be extremely emotional.... 😭

I've been working on the scenes a lot for the past few days, just to make sure everything works out fine for the part. So whether it will be a happy ending or sad to the next update, you will have to wait and see, as a lot will happen, involving Sujal, Kavya, Kashish and Anjali. 💔

So please don't get angry or anything, whatever the outcome of the part and please no threats either lol 😆😆😆

Part Twenty One

Anjali just froze. She didn't know how to feel or react. She just stood there, staring at the diary.

Anjali: Is he…No he can't be the same…He can't be my Kavya…

Kashish: Hey did you find the phone?

Kashish came out of the kitchen. Anjali turned around and stared at Kashish.

Kashish: Hey that's my diary…What are you doing with it?

Anjali didn't say anything. Instead she held up the diary, showing the page on which was written…I Love Kavya.

Anjali: This…Kavya…Who is he?

Kashish blushed, as she grabbed the diary off Anjali.

Kashish: You weren't supposed to read that.

Anjali desperately wanted to find out about Kavya, as it just wasn't only about her life, but also Kashish's, her best friend. So she temporarily put on an act.

Anjali: Well I've read it now…so at least tell me…or else…

Kashish: Or else what…I've got the diary

Anjali: It's okay…I'll wait till Prerna comes home…she'll find out one way or another

Kashish: No way!...Okay I'll tell you…You know you're just as bad as she is.

Anjali: Well?

Kashish: His name is Kavya…Well we work together

Anjali: Work?

Kashish: Yes he works at Garewal Industries…He's Sujal Garewal's assistant…

Just by hearing the name Garewal, it broke Anjali's heart, as she now knew that it was her Kavya. Tears were about to form in her eyes, but she held them back.

Kashish flicked her fingers in front of Anjali.

Kashish: Hey…where are you?

Anjali pretended to smile.

Anjali: Nowhere…I was just thinking about the name…I think I've heard the name before…what's he like…I mean…

Kashish: Oh…what can I say?...He's such a nice guy…good looking…loves me sooooo much…even…even I love him more than anything…

Anjali turned away from Kashish, as she couldn't hold back her tears.

Kashish: To be honest…I don't think I can live without him…he's become my soul…

Anjali wiped her tears away and then turned towards Kashish.

Anjali: Hey…where's the bathroom in this place…I just want to freshen up…I've had a long day.

Kashish: OMG! I forgot to ask…how's Kripa?

Anjali: She's fine…

Kashish: Oh good…

Before Kashish could say or do anything else, the phone started ringing.

Kashish: Oh…listen the bathroom is upstairs…first door on the left…I'll just take this call…It'll be you know who

Anjali smiled briefly, but as soon as Kashish turned her back, Anjali ran upstairs and locked the bathroom door. She immediately burst into tears, as she dropped down to the floor. All she could think about, was the incident at the club and then when her and Kavya made up. She could still hear all the promises that Kavya had made to her. She covered her ears, so she couldn't hear his voice, but it was of no use, she could still hear his voice. She just started to cry, after remembering what Kashish had said to her. She just collapsed against the wall and just sat there in a corner, just looking straight ahead, not moving a single muscle.

Kashish: Anjali…are you okay, in there?

Kashish called out to her from outside the bathroom.

Kashish: Anjali…Anjali…are you there?

Kashish began to get worried, she kept on repeatedly knocking on the door. Eventually Kashish heard the door unlock. So she opened the door and saw Anjali, with her back turned. Anjali had her eyes closed. Kashish slowly walked over to Anjali.

Kashish: Anjali…What's wrong…why did you?

Kashish put her hand on Anjali's shoulder. Anjali turned around. Kashish was shocked after seeing tears in Anjali's eyes.

Kashish: Anjali…What's happened?

Anjali didn't want to tell Kashish about Kavya, but she knew she had to .

Kashish: Anjali...

Anjali: That…Kavya is cheating you

What Anjali had said, hit Kashish like a tonne of bricks. But then she thought that Anjali was joking.

Kashish: That's a good joke…you'll have to try better next time…come on now…lets go downstairs

Kashish turned around and was about to go downstairs, when Anjali grabbed her hand.

Kashish: Cut the jokes will you…

Kashish turned and saw that the tears were still in her eyes. Anjali slowly nodded her head, indicating that she was telling the truth.

Kashish: You're lying…you're lying aren't you…why…why are you doing this?

Kashish couldn't understand what was going on.

Kashish: How do you know?...I mean he could be another Kavya…I…I…

Anjali: There's only one Garewal Industries

Kashish: So…How is he cheating me?...How?...

Anjali turned around, as she couldn't face Kashish.

Anjali: Because he's…he's…we…

Anjali couldn't find the words that would help her tell Kashish everything. But it didn't matter, as Kashish figured everything out.

Anjali: He's already broken my heart before and…now…now…

Anjali dropped down onto her knees and started to cry. But Kashish just stood there, she didn't move.

Kashish: You and him…I can't believe he would do this to me.

Anjali immediately got up and dialled Kavya's number and passed it to Kashish.

Anjali: Here…Listen…his voice…is this the same Kavya?

Back at the house, Kavya's phone was ringing, but no one was answering it. But then Sujal went walking past and noticed it. He picked it up and saw Anjali's name flashing.

Sujal: This Anjali…she only just left and she probably wants to know how Kripa is

He answered the phone.

Sujal: Hello…Anjali…Don't worry about Kripa, she's fine…

After hearing his voice, Kashish realised that what Anjali had said was true. She passed the phone to Anjali and dropped back against the wall. Anjali disconnected the phone.

Kashish: How can he…how can he do this to me?

Anjali knelt down beside her.

Anjali: He's ruined both of our lives…he…he…

Kashish looked up at Anjali and she could also see the same pain, that she was experiencing, in her eyes. Both Kashish and Anjali hugged each other, while they were crying over their fate.

A few minutes later, Anjali pulled herself away from Kashish and got up.

Kashish: Where are you going?

Anjali wiped her tears away and had this angry look on her face.

Anjali: I'm going to do something, that I should have done a long time ago.

Before Kashish could say or do something, Anjali left the bathroom and made her way out of the house. Kashish just sat there crying over every dream she ever had of Sujal. She just watched them all break away. But then she heard her phone ringing nearby. She didn't bother to answer it. But it kept on repeatedly ringing. So she got up and answered it.

Sujal: Hey Kashish…what were you doing?...I've been ring...

Kashish: I HATE YOU KAVYA…I HATE YOU…

Sujal was shocked after hearing what Kashish was saying.

Sujal: Kashish…what are you saying?

Kashish: I HATE YOU…I HATE YOUR FACE…I HATE YOUR NAME…I HATE EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU!!!!!

Then Kashish disconnected the call and threw her phone against the wall. She watched the phone break into pieces, just like her life.

Meanwhile Sujal just stood there, rooted to the ground. His phone was still in his hand.

Sujal: She knows everything…she…I have to go to her…

Where as Anjali was just walking, while thinking about what had just happened in her life. All she could think about, was the past and the present. But then she remembered what she had told Kavya, about what would happen, if he ever broke her heart again. So she dialled Kavya's number.

This time Kavya answered the phone.

Kavya: Hello…Anjali

Anjali: I want to see you…

Kavya: Really…all of a sudden…what do you have in mind?

Anjali: You'll have to wait and see…can you come over?

Kavya: Where?

Anjali: My place…meet me there as soon as you can.

After the call Kavya wondered, what was Anjali upto. So he made his way out of the house.

Meanwhile, Sujal arrived at Kashish's house. He rang the doorbell, but she didn't answer. He kept on ringing the doorbell. He even dialled her number on his phone. But he couldn't get through.

Sujal: Kashish!...Kashish!

Sujal called out for her, as he knew that she was inside the house.

Sujal: Kashish…Kashish…I know you are in there…I can explain everything…please give me a chance to explain.

After a few minutes, Kashish opened the upstairs window.

Kashish: I told you all I had to say…what do you want now?

Sujal: Kashish come on…open the door…let me in and I'll explain everything to you…

Kashish: What do you want to explain…What do you want to explain?...Where are you going to start from…Kavya?

Sujal was surprised to hear Kashish still calling him Kavya.

Sujal: I thought….

Kashish: How are you going to explain…how you cheated on me and how you cheated on my friend…Anjali!

Sujal: Anjali?

Kashish: Yes…Anjali…you remember her don't you?

That's when it hit Sujal. He realised that this was all a mix up. But that didn't stop him, as he knew he had to tell Kashish everything.

Sujal: Kashish…Kashish…You're right I lied to you…but its not how you think

Kashish: How can you act like nothing has happened? You cheated with my best friend and you cheated me!!!!

Sujal: I didn't cheat you…well in a way yes…listen…I'm not cheating Anjali…

Kashish didn't let Sujal finish.

Kashish: Oh really…I heard you myself!!!

Sujal was confused as to what did Kashish hear.

Sujal: Look Kashish I don't know what you're talking about…I haven't cheated with Anjali…I have cheated with you…I lied to you about my name…

Kashish was now surprised at what Sujal was saying. Yet she refused to believe him.

Kashish: Your name…?

Sujal: Yes…my name…my name isn't Kavya…it's Sujal…I am Sujal Garewal…Kavya is my younger brother.

Kashish: Is that the best you can come up with?...More lies!

Sujal: Believe it or not…it's the truth

Kashish could see, by the look on Sujal's face, that he was telling the truth. But still he lied to her.

Kashish: So why did you lie to me?

Sujal: I lied to you, because I was afraid of losing you…

Kashish: Losing me?

Sujal: After our first encounter, you were angry at me, but when I saw that you came to my place for an interview…I got afraid…cause I fell in love with you…after that one incident…that's why…I followed what Kavya said…

This enraged Kashish with anger.

Kashish: So what…you mean you gave me this job, so I'd stay with you…what do you think you were playing at…am I some kind of a charity case to you…that you gave me this job…and you call this love…you lied to me…I bet you and your so called brother were laughing at my expense…You couldn't even tell me the truth to my face…how can you even fall in love.

Sujal: Kashish…I know what I did was wrong…I wanted to tell you the truth…but…

Kashish: Forget about me…because of your games…poor Anjali is heartbroken…thinking your brother has cheated her…you should have seen the state she was in…all because of…If this incident hadn't have happened…would you have told me the truth?

Sujal: Eventually yes…I've been wanting to tell you the truth…

Kashish: You know what Kavya…I mean Sujal or whatever your name is…just leave…I don't know if I can ever trust you again…just forget I ever came into your life…just leave!!!!!

Sujal: No I won't

Kashish: If you don't go…I will phone the police

Sujal: Go ahead…but I won't leave you

Kashish knew that Sujal wouldn't leave.

Kashish: If you don't leave, I will jump from this window and kill myself.

What Kashish had said, both surprised and hurt Sujal.

Sujal: Don't…Kashish…Don't…okay I'll leave…I'll leave

Sujal slowly made his way away from Kashish's house, as he kept on staring at Kashish. Tears were flowing from both Sujal and Kashish's eyes, as they both had their hearts broken. As Sujal was walking backwards, he bumped into Prerna. She was surprised to see tears in Sujal's eyes.

Prerna: What's going on?...What's happened?

Sujal just looked back up at Kashish and saw her closing the window. Prerna looked back at Sujal and realised that Kashish had found out the truth.

Meanwhile, Kavya arrived at Anjali's house and saw her standing with her back turned.

Kavya: Hey…well I'm here…

Kavya slowly made his way over to Anjali.

Anjali: Stop right there

Anjali turned around. Kavya was shocked to see Anjali looking sooooo upset and heartbroken.

Kavya: Anjali…What's happened?

He tried to come up to her. But she stopped him again.

Kavya: What's going on?...Why are you?

Anjali: You won't say anything today…only me…today only you will listen and bear the consequences…

Kavya was surprised and confused about what Anjali was talking about.

Kavya: What are you talking about?

Anjali: Why did you do it? Why did you cheat me?

Kavya was shocked.

Kavya: Cheat you…When did I cheat you?

Anjali: You didn't cheat me…Who's Kashish?

Kavya was surprised to know that Anjali had found out about Kashish, but he was wondering about how did Anjali know Kashish.

Anjali: What's happened? How are you going to explain about how you ruined my life and my best friends life

Kavya: Best friend?

Anjali: Yes…best friend…you broke my heart completely…what did I ever do to you…apart from giving you my heart…I loved you more than my life…and what did I get in return.

Kavya couldn't take in the accusations, so he turned around, as he couldn't face her.

Kavya: Anjali…listen…it's not what you think…I didn't cheat on you…I could never even dream of cheating on you…just give me a chance to explain…

Anjali didn't reply.

Kavya: Anjali?

She still didn't reply.

Kavya turned around and was shocked at what he saw.

Kavya: ANJALI!!!!!!

Anjali was lying on the floor and she was unconscious.

Kavya: Anjali! Anjali!

Then he noticed something falling out of her hand. He picked it up. It was a small bottle. He turned it around and was shocked once again. It was poison.
