Part Nineteen

Sneha just sat there in her bed staring at the picture, which was taken, when Aryan and her were dancing.
She noticed that her tears were falling onto the picture, so she wiped them away with her fingers and then wiped her own tears away, but she couldn't stop the tears from flowing.
Sneha: Why did you leave?...Why?...
Sneha sobbed.
Sneha: Aryan…I need you…please come back
Sneha then held the picture close to her chest and closed her eyes.
Anjali: Sneha?
Sneha opened her eyes and saw Anjali standing in the door way.
Sneha: Didi?
She took the year book and put it back on the bedside table.
Anjali: Why aren't you sleeping? What's wrong?
Sneha: It's nothing didi…
Anjali could tell something was wrong, just by hearing Sneha's voice. She sounded really sad. So Anjali made her way over to Sneha. She sat down beside her. But Sneha looked away.
Anjali: Sneha, what's wrong...tell me?
Sneha: It's nothing didi…
Anjali: So why are there tears in your eyes
Sneha wiped them away.
Sneha: These aren't tears, I was just yawning…I'm just feeling tired that's all.
Not even once did Sneha look at Anjali. So Anjali moved Sneha's face towards her.
Anjali: Now tell me…are you telling the truth?
Sneha couldn't lie to Anjali, so she hugged her tightly.
Anjali: Sneha…tell me whats wrong
Sneha: Why…why did he leave me didi?
Anjali immediately knew that Sneha was talking about Aryan.
Anjali: You…
Sneha: No matter how hard I try I can't forget him
Kavya was stood outside the room listening to what Sneha was saying. He just stood there thinking to himself.
Kavya: Here you are trying to make each one of us happy and yet you keep your pain to yourself…why Sneha…why
He looked back at Sneha and she was still crying.
Kavya: If I don't bring that smile back on your face, then my name isn't Kavya.
Kavya then turned and made his way into the bedroom.
Kavya: Hey, what are you doing?
Sneha instantly wiped her tears away, so Kavya wouldn't notice. Both Sneha and Anjali looked at each other.
Anjali: Nothing…she can't go to sleep, that's all.
Kavya: Awwwww…poor Sneha.
Anjali: Hey you can keep away from her…mister…you've already done enough
Kavya: What have I done?
Sneha: Guys…Ssssshhhh…Kripa is sleeping
Anjali: Ooops…
Kavya walked over to Kripa's bed
Sneha whispered.
Sneha: Kavya…what are you doing?
Kavya: Relax…I'm just going to empty this mug of tea on her.
Anjali: Nooooo…Kavya get back here…honestly I'm going to kill him…if he does something to her.
Anjali got up, grabbed hold of a pillow and rushed over to him. A brief smile came on Sneha's face as she saw Anjali rush over to Kavya and fight him off with a pillow.
Anjali: Kavya…get lost…go on get out of her.
Kavya rushed over and hid behind Sneha, as Anjali threw the pillow after him. The pillow flew across the room and hit Sneha in the face.
Anjali couldn't believe what had happened.
Anjali: OMG!!! Sneha I am sorry…I…
Kavya: I am shocked Anjali…what did Sneha ever do to you?
Anjali walked over to Sneha.
Anjali: Sneha I am really…
Sneha: Its not your fault…its his…
Kavya: What did I do?
Sneha grabbed the pillow and smacked it over Kavya's head.
Sneha: This
Kavya: Oh come on now…that hurt Sneha
Sneha: Oh don't be a wimp
Sneha started to laugh a little.
Kavya looked up at Anjali and winked at her. Anjali then realised that he did this to make Sneha laugh again. So Anjali smiled back at Kavya.
Anjali: Come on lets get out of here
Kavya: No wait…do you want to come down as well?
Sneha: What?
Kavya: Well if you can't go to sleep…you might as well come down stairs with us…it'll be better than staying up here on your own.
Anjali: But Kavya…
Kavya: Relax, I can carry her down…you just worry about whether or not I throw her down
Anjali: Hey
Kavya: Look lets just get downstairs, before Kripa wakes up…I'm already surprised she hasn't woken up already.
Sneha: She's a deep sleeper
Kavya: I know…I know who she gets that from.
Kavya looked at Anjali.
Anjali: I'm going to sort you out later…lets go downstairs now.
Kavya was getting ready to pick Sneha up.
Kavya: Ready
Sneha nodded. So Kavya picked her up in his arms and carried her out of the room. He was just about to go down the stairs, when Sneha stopped him.
Sneha: Hey wait
Kavya: What's up?
Sneha: You're not really going to throw me down are you?
Kavya: Don't start giving me ideas
Anjali smiled while she watched Kavya carry Sneha down the stairs.

Meanwhile, Kashish was waiting outside her house, waiting for Sujal. She just stood there with the thoughts of what had happened earlier between them.
Kashish: What's happening to me?
Horn: Beeeeeeeppppp!!!!
The car horn made Kashish jump.
It was Sujal.
Sujal: What's up, you seem lost…you do remember we were gonna go out somewhere
Kashish just stood there, she didn't move. She wasn't sure what was happening to her. All she thought about was, how close they came to kissing each other.
Sujal: Hello, Kashish…are you there?
Instead Kashish turned and made her way back inside the house.
Sujal: Kashish…what's….
Sujal got out of his car and followed Kashish.
Sujal: Kashish!
But Kashish wasn't stopping, she just kept on walking, but then Sujal grabbed her hand.
Sujal: Kashish, what's happened all of a sudden?
Kashish didn't say anything.
Sujal: Kashish, say something
Kashish: Kavya, I'm sorry…it was a bad idea…
Sujal: What was?
Kashish sighed.
Kashish: I meant us…going out…we barely know each other…its just…we're just workmates…friends and lets just leave it at that
Sujal: Well that's what we are…aren't we?
Kashish turned towards Sujal.
Kashish: What about earlier on, when we…
Kashish couldn't say it, she was lost for words. Sujal also remembered what Kashish was talking about.
Sujal: If that's the problem…why did you call me over then?
Kashish: I don't know why…I just…
Sujal didn't know what to do or what to say. Nothing seemed clear to him. He felt as if he was going to lose Kashish. So he just left it to fate and did what came into his mind and listened to his heart. He pulled Kashish towards him.
Sujal: Look into my eyes Kashish and tell me that's what you want…tell me you don't want me to be here…if it is then just say so…I promise you that I will leave.
Kashish didn't have any answers. She just looked into his eyes, seeking answers to Sujal's questions.
Sujal: Tell me that you don't have the same feelings about me as I have for you.
Kashish looked down and then back up at Sujal. She could feel her heart beating really fast, as she moved closer to Sujal. The same was happening to Sujal, as he was coming closer to Kashish. Both didn't say anything, but instead they just kissed and then hugged. Both smiled at each other and then hugged again.

Meanwhile, back at the house, Anjali got called away. She didn't want to leave Kavya on his own with both Sneha and Kripa.
Kavya: Oh come on Anjali, I can cope you know, don't worry, just go.
Anjali: Yes but…you'll have your hands full with both of them.
Prem: What's up, you guys?
Prem and Angad returned.
Kavya: See now you can go, without worrying
Angad: Go where
Anjali: I need to go…it's a long story…listen can you take care of Kripa?
Angad: Yeah sure…don't worry
Anjali: Thanks
Then Anjali left. But then all three, Prem, Angad and Kavya, turned and stared at Sneha and smiled at her.
Sneha: What?...Why are you staring at me like that for?
Prem: Oh nothing
He sat down next to her and looked at Sneha and whispered to her.
Prem: Be afraid Sneha…be very afraid
Sneha looked at all three and remembered what Kripa and her had done to them.
Kavya: Anjali isn't here and Kripa is sleeping…like you said she's a deep sleeper.
Angad: No one is here to protect you.
Sneha started to feel afraid with the guys around.
Sneha: Look guys…maybe we took the pranks a bit too far…can't we just forget about it all.
Prem: Oh we will, when we say so.
Sneha: What…what…are you going to do?
Prem: Oh wait and see…in the meantime watch some tv.
Prem switched the tv on. Then the three guys left Sneha on her own.
Sneha: Erm…guys…come on
But they didn't listen, they just walked back into the kitchen. Sneha thought to herself as she was getting really worried now. She searched for her phone, but then realised that she left it upstairs. Then she tried reaching for the home phone, but that wasn't there.
Prem: Ah…Ah…Ah…I've got the phone with me…just needed to make sure no one else would disturb you…aren't I so caring?
Sneha just sat there thinking to herself.
Sneha: What do I do now?

An hour had gone by and Sneha was still sitting on the sofa, worrying and mumbling to herself.
Sneha: Please…someone…come back…Sujal bhaiyya…didi…please come back soon.
Prem poked his head around the kitchen door.
Prem: Is everything okay, Sneha?...You need anything?
Sneha tried to bring a fake a smile on her face, but she couldn't.
Sneha: I'm fine.
Prem then went back in to the kitchen.
Sneha kept on looking towards the top of the stairs, hoping that, any moment now, Kripa would come walking down the stairs. But she didn't.
Sneha: Come on Sneha, you can do this.
Sneha tried to get up and make her way upstairs.
Sneha: If I have to crawl my way upstairs, then I will.
No matter how many times she tried to get up, she couldn't. Person: Hey Sneha! What are you doing?
Sneha looked up.
Sneha: KT!
Sneha was soooo relieved to see KT. She noticed that KT was holding a big teddy bear in her arms.
KT: I didn't know what to get for you.
Sneha: It's not my birthday yet.
KT: Yes I know, but I thought you could do with cheering up, after the incident…and…looks like I was right…you're looking kind of down.
KT handed the teddy over to Sneha. She sat down the teddy beside her and stroked the head.
Sneha: Thanks…it's cute.
KT: So how are you feeling?
Sneha: I would be feeling better…if it weren't for them
KT: Who?
Sneha told KT about everything that had happened, since she came home, from the hospital.
KT: Well…I hate to admit it, but in a way I don't blame them.
Sneha looked at KT, as she was surprised. She was hoping that KT would be on her side. But then she realised that she did take the jokes a bit too far.
Sneha: You're right…I did take it too far…but what do I do now?...They're stalking me now…Everytime I see them, they make me jump.
KT: Okay…now don't worry…I'm here…I won't let anything happen to you now.
Both Sneha and KT smiled at each other.
Angad: Hey, KT, what are you doing here?
KT: I thought I'd come to see how Sneha is doing?...But I can also see that you and the other two stooges are scaring her.
Angad: Oh come on…we're only just playing around.
KT: I can see that…just look at her…
Angad started to feel guilty.
Angad: Ok I'm sorry Sneha…but don't tell them two I said that.
Sneha: I won't
Angad: Erm…I'm just going to check on Kripa.
Sneha: There's no point…she's sleeping…but then again that was over an hour ago.
Angad: I'll just go and check on her.
He then made his way up the stairs. As he was about to walk into the room, Kripa came walking out and bumped into him.
Kripa: Oh…I'm sorry…I
Angad: It's okay.
Kripa's hair was in a real mess. And her eyes looked really tired. She wasn't even standing up straight.
Angad: Why are you up anyway…you should be sleeping.
Kripa: I'm fine
Angad: You don't look it.
Kripa tried to get past Angad. But as she did, she lost her balance and fell. Angad managed to stop her from hitting the ground. Even though she had clothes on, he could feel the heat from her body, through them.
Angad: Kripa…you're really burning up…
Kripa: I'll be fine…
But then she collapsed in his arms.
Angad: Kripa!
Angad immediately picked up Kripa in his arms and rushed back inside the bedroom and laid her on her bed. Her eyes were closed. Angad started to panic as Kripa wasn't opening her eyes.
Kavya: What's happened!
Angad: Quick, it's Kripa…she's fainted….
Prem: I'll call for the doctor.
Prem than ran downstairs.
KT: What's happened?
Prem: It's Kripa
Sneha: What's happened to Kripa?
Prem: She's collapsed
Sneha: What!!!!
Sneha tried to get up, even though her knee was hurting again, she didn't care. All she wanted was to be with Kripa.
KT: Sneha! What are you doing?
Prem: Sneha…God!!!!
KT: I'll take care of Sneha…you phone for a doctor.
Prem got the phone and rang for the doctor.
Sneha was crying uncontrollably.
KT: Sneha, listen to me, she's going to be okay alright
Sneha then put her arms around KT and hugged her tightly.
KT: She's going to be okay…alright…she's going to be okay.
Then Angad rushed downstairs and ran into the kitchen. He then came back out, with a bowl of cold water and some cloths. He then ran back upstairs, while Sneha looked on helplessly.
Angad entered the bedroom and went up to Kripa's side.
He soaked a cloth in cold water and placed it on her forehead.
Angad: She's burning up.
Prem: The doctor says he's on his way.
Angad just sat there beside her, thinking to himself.
Angad: I'm not going to let anything happen to you…you're going to be alright…you have to open your eyes for me.
Prem left the room to check on Sneha, while Kavya left to see if the doctor had arrived or not.
Angad then grabbed hold of Kripa's hand and held it close to him.
Angad: You have to wake up for me Kripa…you can't do this…
Angad then changed the cloth.
Angad: I don't even know if you can hear me right now…but there's something I've been wanting to tell you for a long time…don't even know if I can say it…strange isn't it…I can't even say to you while you're…
Angad sighed and took a deep breath…I…I…Love…
Prem: The doctor is here
Angad turned around and saw Prem walking in, with Kavya and the doctor following behind. Angad then turned and looked at Kripa. He didn't feel like letting go of Kripa's hand. But he had to, as the doctor examined her.
Angad got up and walked around for a bit, then he noticed that Prem was looking at him.
Angad: Just hope she's going to be alright…Have you phoned Anjali?
Prem: I've tried to, but I think she's got it switched off or something…I'll try again.
He dialled her number, this time it went straight onto answering machine. So Prem left a message.
Doctor: It seems she's definitely got a high temperature…I'm going to give her an injection, this should bring the temperature down gradually.
Angad: Er…How long would it take?
Doctor: Can't say, but she should be alright in the morning…In the meantime, you can get these medicines, that I will prescribe for her.
Kavya took the prescription.
Kavya: I'll go and get them right now.
Kavya then left.
The doctor was getting the injection ready for Kripa. Angad walked out of the room, as he couldn't watch. Prem followed him out.
Prem: Hey are you okay?
Angad: Yeah I'm fine…
Prem: What's up, you seem to be caring about Kripa more these days.
Angad: What are you getting at?
Prem: Oh nothing…just been noticing that's all…
Angad: Noticing about what
Prem: About how you've been panicking a lot inside there, especially around Kripa.
Angad: Hey…it's nothing like that…
Prem: Oh really…
Then the doctor came back out.
Doctor: I've given her an injection…as soon as she wakes up, you have to make sure that she takes the medicines.
Angad: She will…thanks doctor
Angad shook the doctors hand. Then Prem shook his hand and he walked with the doctor outside.
Angad walked back in and changed the cloth again. He then grabbed hold of Kripa's hand and held it close again and just stared at her. He just sat there thinking how innocent and peaceful she was looking.
Angad: I'm sooo glad, you're going to be fine.
He then kissed her hand gently.
While outside the room, Prem was watching this.
Prem: Oh so its nothing right…I'll show you…

Meanwhile, Kashish was in the kitchen cleaning some dishes, when she felt a pair of hands around her. She looked ahead and smiled.
Kashish: Kavya…what are you doing?
Sujal: Helping you…
Kashish: Really…with what?
Sujal: With the dishes
Kashish: Oh really, so why have you got your arms around me…the dishes are in the sink…here you'll need this.
She threw a wet cloth over her shoulder and it hit Sujal.
Kashish turned around and saw that the cloth was draped over Sujal's head. So she burst out laughing.
Sujal: Oh so you think this is funny
Kashish: Well you did offer to help me with the dishes.
Sujal: Oh yeah…I did didn't I
Sujal walked over to the sink and dipped his hands in and then threw water at Kashish. She just stood there as water was dripping from her hair and some was on her clothes.
Sujal: Oh I am soooo sorry Kashish, that was a complete accident.
Kashish: Oh really
Kashish then dipped her hands in the sink and threw some water at Sujal. This started a water fight between the two. Water was all over the place, on the floor and even on the ceiling.
During the fight, Kashish slipped on the water and fell backwards. Sujal couldn't stop laughing.
Kashish: Kavya…its not funny….
Sujal: I'm sorry I can't help it…here let me help you up.
Sujal reached his hand out for Kashish, but Kashish grabbed it and pulled Sujal down to the ground.
Sujal: What was that?
Kashish: I'm sorry I couldn't help it either
Both started laughing at each other, but then they stopped and just stared at each other.
But then Kashish's phone started ringing, so Kashish got up and answered it.
Kashish: Okay I'm on my way.
Sujal: Who was it?
Kashish: Only one person…Prerna…she's left a file here…she wants me to drop it off for her.
Sujal: Okay…I can drop you off
Kashish: The dishes need cleaning though
Sujal: I'm not cleaning them on my own…we can do them when we come back.
Kashish: Oh no…not another water fight
Sujal put his hands on her shoulders, from behind and pushed her out of the house.
Sujal: Don't worry there won't be one.
But then Sujal's phone started ringing. He looked at the screen. Prem's number was flashing on the screen.
Kashish: Are you going to answer it?
Sujal felt like cursing Prem, for phoning while he was with Kashish.
Sujal: Yes Prem, what's up?
Prem: Bhaiya, its Kripa…
Sujal: What's happened to Kripa?
Prem told Sujal everything that happened.
Sujal: Okay, let me know as soon as the doctor arrives, I'm on my way.
Kashish saw that Sujal was looking worried.
Kashish: What's wrong Kavya? Is everything okay? Is it Sneha?
Sujal: No it's…its Kripa, she's collapsed…
Kashish: What?
Sujal: Kripa wasn't feeling well…I have to go home…What about you?
Kashish: Don't worry about me…you go home…I can make my own…
Sujal: Tell you what, the hospital is on the way…I can drop you off.
Kashish: Are you sure?
Sujal: Yes
So Kashish got into the car and Sujal dropped her off at the hospital and then went home.
It didn't take Kashish long to find Prerna.
Kashish: Here's the file.
Prerna: Oh you are a life saver
Prerna then looked at her watch.
Prerna: Hey, have you eaten?
Kashish: Yes
Prerna: Oh, lets go to the caf anyway, I'll eat, you can talk.
Before Kashish could say anything, Prerna dragged her outside.
Kashish: Hey Prerna, slow down will you…what's the matter?
Prerna: I'm hungry and I could do with the company as well.
While Prerna and Kashish were talking, they accidentally bumped into another female, as she was coming out of the caf, with a cup of coffee. The coffee almost spilt on her dress.
Person: Hey…watch where you're…
The person turned around.
Prerna: OMG!!!!!
Kashish was just as surprised as Prerna was
Kashish: Anjali? OMG!!! I can't believe this
Anjali: Kashish! Prerna!
They started screaming out with delight, while they were hugging each other. People walking by thought they were acting like a bunch of kids.

As you can see I have moved on with the characters lol. Bet you guys were getting bored with just Sneha, Kripa and Anjali lol

Hey lovely part 👏 ...continue soon.......the water fight was fun.......Nd kashish is gonna give a lotta grief if she isnt told really soon that the person she knows as sujal is kavya....now wid anjali's entry....things cud really mess up with kashish thinking sujal is two timing her wid anjali n anjali thinking the same abt kavya.......ok now...kavya-sujal,sujal-kavya....im totally confused how to get my point thru....sorry if no one can understand my post
....hehehehehehe!! 😆 😆 😆

wonderful updates Sajid! loved all of it, the whole thing! u have to got 2 continue soon and that too real soon! sorry for not commenting before - me computer broke down so couldn't reply back. I only got it back yesterday so real sorry
