The wedding invitation
"George, I need the rest of this week and next week off." Kripa said, warily.
"What for?" He asked, looking at her as if she was crazy. He popped a cigar into his mouth and leaned towards the bar side.
"My friends wedding and you know I never take even a day off. Even when Neha's sick, I bring her here!" Kripa pleaded.
After ten minutes of pleading, George agreed to give her the days off. She needed the days off for the wedding invitation that came in the mail today. Initially, she didn't want to go, they would all be there. She hadn't seen them since she left her hometown, and she hadn't planned to see them again. But it was her two best friends wedding, and she was the maid of honor, there was no way she could miss it. Who knew Mouth and Rachel would get married someday?

"Kripa! Kripa, I know you're their! Pick up. Neha? Neh-neh! Babe, you have to be there! Can some one pick up?!" Rachel spoke into the answering machine.
"Rachel! How are you?" Seth Cohen, one of Kripa's best friends said, picking up the phone.
"Cohen! How's it going kid?" She smiled, he may be the dorkiest kid, but he was the sweetest.
"Not much here, just reading my comic books and babysitting little Neha." Seth said, running after Neha, her jacket in his hand.
"Well, I got to go, but can you tell Kripa to call me later?"
"Will do, bye rach" He said, hearing a big crash in the kitchen.
"What was tha-"
"SHOOT! I got to go! Bye!" He said. Rachel chuckled, always the same old Seth Cohen.

"Mommy, when are we going to be there?" Neha asked, for the fourth time in the last two hours.
"Soon enough baby." Kripa said, closing her eyes.
"Is my daddy going to be there?" She asked, looking at her worn-out mother innocently. She always tried to get information from her mother about her dad. To say she was a smart six year old, would be an understatement.
"No baby, your daddy's not going to be there. Remember, I told you – Your daddy's gone, and he isn't coming back." She said, tears welling in her eyes. She always wanted to give her daughter a dad, but the guy who had gotten her pregnant, had bailed when he found out she was pregnant. He wasn't ready.
"Oh" She said, disappointed. No matter how much she told her that her Uncles Ryan and Seth were like her dad – She wanted one of her own. The real deal.
Okay so this is a pretty short chapter, but i needed to add some background information. I promise the next chapter will be longer! And better. This was horrible. Bear with me here. haha kay so commentt ! 😊 Tell me what i could do better.
