all d preparation was done...
documents & proofs collected..
tickets back to india were booked....
azmi was locked ...rehmaan convinced....

dey all sat down in d car & rushed away...

dat night a huge storm broke out.....
& it struck everyone...!

naina was watchful d entire night....
not havin d guts to doze off wen so much was goin on..

azmi on d other hand...slept like a pig d entire night...
as d wind wailed...naina shivered....
wondereing wat d next day had in store for dem....

well...their attraction had gone too far....
she hoped destiny would be kind to dem!!

TIME: 03:00 A.M....(9 HOURS TO GO)

"aur kitni der is toofaan mein rukna hoga rehmaan??"
navin asked him...

"pichle 4 ghante se is ped ke neeche baithe hain....
aadhi raat ko....is darr mein ki kahin paas gaye to koi dekh lega!"
huda rolled his eyes...

"yeah man...pakde nahi gaye to pneumonia se to mar hi jaayenge!!"
yudi replied

"aye chikne!! tera woh truck kab aayega??"

"jee...aur ek ghanta to lagega....
woh us truck mein qaidiyon ka khaane ka samaan aata hai...
4 baje ke kareeb...."

"to saale pehle bolta na..ghar se late nikalte!"
aalekh thundered..."karna kya hai truck ke aane ke baad?"

as he explained dem his plan...dey listened attentively....

"koi check nahi karega truck??"

"kya saab...jail se bhaag rahe hote to koi checking
ka darr tha...jail mein jaane ke liya kya checking!!...
aap to apne hi pairon par hathoda maar rahe ho....
yeh truch driver pichle 10 saal se aata hai....
koi checking nahi hoti ab....dara sal iske baare mein
bahut kam logon ko pata hai...."

dey all nodded...convinced by his explanation...
& waited....drenching inspite of d shade...

TIME: 04:00 A.M.
(8 HOURS TO GO).....

navin sat whistling...while d others kept dozing....

suddenly a truck was heard approaching & dey all jerked up....

"yahi hai kya...?" aalekh asked remaan...

"jee janaab...taiyaar rehna...main rokta hoon...."

he went forward & stopped d truck....
"kya hua rehmaan miyaan...aaj truck kaise rok liya?"

"baahar aa shaahid...checking honi hai...
upar se oder hai..."

the man answered stepping down....
"kamaal hai...aaj se pehle to...aaaaaaaaaaaaaahh!!"

& he was flat on d floor.....
with a stroke of his strong arms...huda had twisted his neck....
"maraa nahi hai....he's just unconscious...."
huda told everyone....

"kisi innocent ko to hum waise bhi nahi maar sakte huda.....
don't worry...hosh nahi aayega jaldi...."

dey picked his body & kept it in a bush furthur away...

while rehmaan occupied d driver seat....aalekh bent next to him...
d others climbed at d back.....

smoothly d gates of d prison opened...
& dey were inside......

"chaliye...ab chup-chaap mere peeche chalna.."
guiding dem through dark & dangerous alleys...
rehmaan brought dem to a place...
"is mein ghusiye....yahin chupna hai kal tak aapko...."

"yahaan!!...par itne chote se cubicle mein hum sab...."
huda complained....

"aur koi intezaam to main nahi kar sakta na....
main chalta hoon..."

"aye hero...apun ko bewakoof samjha hai kya?
zyaada shaana-panti mat kar...tu akele kahin nahi jaayega...
hum paagal nahi hai jo subaah se tujhe apne saath chipkaaya hua hai!!"

he swallowed nervously.."par itni jagah nahi hai...
aur..."

navin got up...took out his revolver & kept it on his head
"get in!!...ek aur awaaz aur tum yahaan se baahar tumhaari laash jaayegi..."

"j...jee...main to bas...."

"in!!!!!"

wid d speed of lightening rehmaan too ducked into d cubicle!!

the night passed away uneventlessly...
before dey realised it was morning.....

TIME: 10:00 A.M.(2 HOURS TO GO!)

naina collected everything....bags & stuff..
& dumped it into d SUV...

she ducked a revolver on azmi's head & pushed him into d car...
tying his hands & legs....

he felt too feeble & weak to resist...

reaching the prison ...she parked away in a reasonably
secluded area.....
rubbing her hands in tension..she waited anxiously........

all d pain in his legs forgotten...

"ab zyaada time nahi baccha hai mere paas....
i hope naina aas-paas nahi hai...

tum sab yahaan pahunch to gaye hoge...

he rubbed his hands....tensed...nervous....
scared for d first time in his life...
not for himself...but his dear friends....

accha hai yahaan aane se pehle i reverted my will to mom &
naina...kum se kum my child won't face any financial obstacles in life...

the cell was opened...his hands & legs tied again....
he hated dis...

"aaj ke din to aazaad jaane do...waise hi marne jaa raha hoon.."

"nahi...upar se order hai...ab mu band rakh aur chal..."

dragged....pushed through dose dark alleys....
wondering how short his life had proved to be....
