Kashish smiled, Sujal hugged her and kissed Jaspreet's forehead. He wouldn't admit it but he almost died along with Kashish
Part 5
K - Sujal!!!!! wake up! You're going to be late for work!
Sujal moaned and got out of bed, he hugged Kashish
S - I don't want to go
K - don't be stubborn Sujal...you have to go, how are we meant to pay the bills? Not to mention buy more clothes for Jaspreet?
S - ok ok i'm going
Sujal kissed her cheek and went into the bathroom, half an hour later he came out all dressed up. He got his stuff ready and was about to leave
K - what time will you be home?
S - I haven't even gone yet
K - ok ok, bye
S - bye
Sujal hugged her and kissed her lightly, he was about to leave when he stopped
K - what happened?
S - I err forgot something
Kashish looked at him weirdly but he just ran upstairs, he stood outside the nursey and watched Jaspreet as she slept. He quietly crept in and stroked her head, he bent down and kissed her forehead softly
S (whispers) - bye my angel...don't miss me too much
He stood up to see Kashish at the door
K - so cute
Sujal blushed and hugged Kashish and kissed her cheek, he took one look at Jaspreet then headed out to work. As soon as the door closed Jaspreet woke up, she looked at Kashish and began crying, Kashish rolled her eyes and picked her up
K - hmmm what shall we do now?
Kashish took Jaspreet downstairs and put the tv on, she and Jaspreet watched the teletubbies but Jaspreet kept crying, Kashish picked her up and changed her nappy and clothes and then fed her
K - you're always quiet with Sujal.....hmm lets go shopping
Kashish got the pushchair out and put Jaspreet in, she then put her coat on and got her bag and left for the town centre......meanwhile at the office....Sujal was in the middle of a meeting but his mind was elsewhere, his colleague Piyush (Rohit Bakshi) nudged him
P - Sujal.....Sujal, you ok?
S - huh...yeah I'm fine, I'll be right back
P - erm......ok
Sujal left the room and took out his mobile, he phoned home but there was no answer
S (thinks) - where's Kash gone?
He dials Kashish's mobile number, after a few rings Kashish answers
K - hi Sujal!
S - hi, erm where are you?
K - why?
S - I phoned home...
K - oh, we're shopping
S - oh right...you ok?
K - yes I'm fine
S - and....
K - she's fine too, sleeping in fact, you know she kept crying, she doesn't like me
S - don't be silly, its just I spend maximum time with her....but now I'm back at work, she'll spend more time with you
K - yea maybe....
P - Sujal!
S - sorry Kashish, have to get back to the meeting, bye
K - bye
S - oh and do me a favour....
K - yes?
S - give her a little kiss for me
K - ok
Sujal went back to the meeting, Piyush looked at him
P - your wife?
S - no girlfriend
P - yea I forgot....you and K....
S - Kashish
P - yea Kashish....not married yet....how come?
S - just.....not the right time
P - you should dude....me and my wife are so happy together
S - your wife......Archie right?
P - yea Archie
Sujal finished the meeting and went to his cabin, he looked at his desk, there were lots of files, the computer and a photo of Kashish
S - something's missing....I don't have a photo of her......Kashish....
Sujal rang Kashish again
K - yes?
S - another favour....
K - what?
S - some photos?
K - you have photos of me
S - stupid, not of you
K - oh Jaspreet?
S - yes
K - ok
S - get a wallet sized done as well ok?
K - ok bye
Kashish hung up and looked at Jaspreet, she smiled at her
K - he's missing you more than me
Jaspreet laughed, Kashish smiled and headed to the photo shop That evening after Sujal got back from work, he rushed in and hugged Kashish
K - miss me?
S - of course
K - liar
S - I did...but
Sujal looked at Jaspreet whose face had lighted up, he went to her and picked her up and kissed her cheek
S - I missed her more..sorry
K - don't be.......see you do love children
S - no.....just her
Kashish laughed and hugged him
S - did you get the photos?
K - yes they're in my purse
Sujal sat on the sofa with Jaspreet on his laps and opened Kashish's purse, he took the photos out and looked at them
S - hmmm quite a poser aren't you?
Jaspreet laughed, Sujal smiled and kissed her forehead
coming up - 4 months later - baby's first word
