Sujal sat on the sofa with Jaspreet on his laps and opened Kashish's purse, he took the photos out and looked at them
S - hmmm quite a poser aren't you?
Jaspreet laughed, Sujal smiled and kissed her forehead
Part 6
4 Months Later
Sujal has been going to work for the past 4 months, Kashish has been taking care of Jaspreet who has learnt to stay without Sujal, she is 10 months now and is crawling now which means Kashish has to run after her a lot
K (picks up Jaspreet) - i thought i told you not to go by the heater, gosh you never listen
Kashish placed Jaspreet in her baby seat and began feeding her, soon the day finished and Sujal arrived home from work, Kashish opened the door and saw Sujal came bearing gifts
K - more teddies! Sujal you are spoiling her
S - so what Kashish...I don't see Jaspreet complaining
K - thats because she can't speak and she's getting them!
S - stop moaning Kashish.....I'll buy you one tommorow
Sujal went inside and saw Jaspreet playing with some toys, he put the teddy bears down and picked her up, he kissed her cheek and began playing with the new teddy bears with her.
K - seriously Sujal, enough spoiling her, what you going to do when she grows up and demands everything
S - then i'll get her everything
Kashish smiled and wonders if this was the same person who had told her that he never wanted children. She went in the kitchen to make some food
K - you know she never stays still now
S - thats good
K - why?
S - she will get exercise
Sujal hugged Kashish from behind and kissed her neck
K - yea whatever....go watch her, she went near the heater 4 times today
S - don't worry she's busy with her new toys
Sujal kept kissing Kashish's neck until he heard crying, he ran to Jaspreet who was sitting by a chair crying
K - oh my god what happened
Sujal picked her up and checked her, he saw that she had hurt her head a bit
S - she hit her head i think
K - you idiot, I told you!
S - stop shouting Kash! come on we'll take her to the hospital
Kashish went and got her coat and bag, she put it on then put Jaspreet's coat on her, Sujal grabbed his jacket and they went to the hospital. They got there and Sujal rushed in with Jaspreet in his arms, he went to a nurse
S - hi, please call a doctor its an emergency
N - whats happened?
S - my daughter she hit her head
The nurse went and got the doctor who checked Jaspreet while Sujal waited outside with Kashish.
K - i hope she's not serious
Sujal hugged Kashish
S - she'll be fine
They waited for the doctor, he came out and the nurse handed Jaspreet to Kashish
S - is she ok?
D - don't worry Mr Garewal, she's fine, it was just a small scratch, but please be careful, next time it might be serious
S - thanks doctor and we will
Sujal and Kashish took Jaspreet outside, they sat in the car, Kashish held Jaspreet close to her, Sujal put his hand on her shoulder
S - stop worrying Kashish, she's fine
K - I know but she could have been serious
S - but she isn't, so stop worrying
Sujal drove the car, while driving....
J - dada
Sujal applied the breaks
S - oh my god, didn you hear her?
K - oh my god! she said dada!!
Sujal took his seatbelt off and picked Jaspreet up and kissed her forehead
S - my angel, say it again...come on say dada
K - no say mama!
They waited a while but Jaspreet didn't say anything, Sujal handed her back to Kashish and drove home, while teasing Kashish
S - see she likes me more
K - no she doesn't
S - yes she does, that's why she said dada and not mama
K (upset) - go away
S - awww sorry Kash......
K - its ok, aww her first word
S - yea, make sure you put it in her baby book
K - i will.....so hows the procedures for the adoption coming along?
S - about that.......we need to get married
K - why?
S - because the agency want us to be married if we are to adopt her
K - so we're getting married?
S - once i speak to mum, and you speak to your parents....yes
K - thats great!!!
They arrived home, Kashish put Jaspreet to sleep, she went into their room where Sujal hugged her and held her in his arms
K - let me go, i'm tired
S - why? i was the one at work
K - yea sitting in an office, i was here running after your little angel
Sujal smiled and sat on the bed hugging Kashish
S - i still can't believe she said dada
K - and i'm the one who feeds her and changes her!
Sujal kissed her cheek
S - thats because i'm the one who buys her all the toys
K - see...you just buy her love, i earn it
Sujal looked at Kashish shockedly and started tickling her
K - stop it!!!!!!
S - take it back
K - ok ok she loves you more
Sujal stopped tickling Kashish and kissed her lightly on her lips
S - and i love you
K - i love you too
Sujal went to his jacket
S -I erm got you something
K - what?
Sujal went on one knee in front of Kashish and opened up a box showing a diamond ring
K - oh my god
S - I know i said we have to get married.....I thought I would make it official, so erm...will you marry me?
K - of course!!!
Sujal slipped the ring on her finger and kissed her passionately
coming up - wedding preparations
