Jaspreet jumps off the bed and runs to Sujal and Kashish
J - mom! dad! Rishi chachu said we can go back to America with him for a holiday! can we please please can we please?
S - America?
K - holiday?
Sujal and Kashish look at each other while Jaspreet pouts her lips

R - come on guys don't say no, it will be fun
J - yea!!! please mom!!! please dad!!!
Sujal sits on the his bed and picks Jaspreet up in his laps
S - and what about papa's work? and your school?
J - I can take holiday and so can you and mom!
K - but Jaspreet..
J - and my birthday is coming up! this can be my birthday present!
R - come on guys! say yes please
Sujal looked at Kashish then back at Jaspreet
S - ok fine, we'll go
K - but...
S - no buts Kashish, its for her birthday
Jaspreet hugged and kissed Sujal then Kashish then ran outside with Rishi
K - you sure about this?
S - of course, find out when you can get some holidays, I'll do the same, oh and speak to Jaspreet's school
K - ok, you're going to have to book the tickets
S - I'll sort all that out
Over the next few days Sujal and Kashish had arranged for 4 weeks off work for themselves and 4 weeks off school for Jaspreet. Sujal had booked the tickets for the following week and applied for the visas which arrived, and now all was left was the packing, which was a disaster.....
K - you can't take all your toys!
J - but what will I play with!
K - you can take some but not all of them
J - fine!
K - now what clothes do you want to take?
Jaspreet went to her cupboard and opened it, she grabbed some clothes out and threw them on the floor then pointed to them
J - them!
K - hai bhagwan, kya karoon is larki ka?
J - mom stop speaking hindi
K - why? you're indian, you should know how to speak hindi
J - but I don't like to
K - what will you do when we visit my nani ma? She hates english and everyone has to speak hindi when they are there
Kashish taps Jaspreet's nose lightly
K - including you
J - then we won't go
K - oh we will go, you were so stubborn about going to America so I will be stubborn that once we return we will go to Nanital and see Nani Ma, samjhi!
Jaspreet giggled at Kashish's anger, she pulled her down and kissed her cheek and ran out the room, Kashish sighed and began packing Jaspreet's suitcase, meanwhile Sujal had finish packing his essentials and was now deciding what clothes to take
S - Rishi, what's the whether like in New York?
R - should be quite warm
S - ok
Sujal picked out some jeans and t shirts and shirts and put them in his suitcase
S - this will be good
R - of course
S - finally me and Kashish can have our honeymoon, we never got a chance because of Jaspreet, but now we will
R - how? Jaspreet's going with us
S - yes but you're there, and we will leave her with you while we celebrate 5 years of marriage
R - hmmm ok
S - after all you are her favourite chachu
Rishi laughed at Sujal's sarcastic but true comment and helped him pack his things. After what seemed a decade all suitcases were packed, Rishi looked at them and laughed
R - Sujal bhaiya, we're going for 4 weeks not years
S - explain that to your bhabhi
Kashish glared at him to shut his mouth and Sujal silently obeyed
K - ok everythings packed, the visas and tickets are here, we have our passports and the flight leaves tomorrow.....oh no
S - what?
K - Jaspreet....she's going to be scared on the aeroplane
S - no she won't she'll be fine, she's my brave little girl
Kashish smiled and ruffled Jaspreet's hair
K - come on time for bed, then we have to get up early to go
Jaspreet happily agreed and followed Kashish upstairs after bidding goodnight to her dad and uncle. The next morning came and everyone was wide awake putting the suitcases into the taxi...all except Jaspreet, who was happily sleeping in Sujal's arms, afterall it was 6AM, he carefully put her into the backseat of the taxi and slid in himself, Kashish sat next to him, Rishi sat at the front, soon the taxi arrived at the airport
S - do you have everything?
J - mommy where's fluffy?
R - bhabhi did you pick up my wallet?
K - chup!
Kashish breathed deeply as they all looked at her, she looks at Sujal
K - yes I got everything, and flufy is in your small bag down there, and Rishi your wallet is in your jacket pocket
R - oh thanks
J - I want fluffy!!!!
K - ok, sweetie
Kashish got fluffy, Jaspreet's small bunny teddy bear which she had from when she was born, one of the first toys Sujal ever bought her. She hugged it tight
J - can we go now?
S - once everything has been checked in
2 hours later, Kashish, Sujal, Rishi and Jaspreet made their way to the terminal to board the flight, Jaspreet was excited the most, she was going to go on an aeroplane for the first time....that aswell to America
