yes, he didn’t force Taaruni for anything but did take advantage of her vulnerable position.

I don't think he would do that. He is probably just thinking about the times when he would have access to the baby.

“Phir YEH kya hai?” she pushed Taaruni’s hair locks and tapped

“He refused to come into the house that other day to search for the wretched bike part, I decided to mock him for it”

“JHOOTH mat bolo” Pallavi was angrily folding laundry

Harold sat up on bed hearing the loud voice, woken up from his siesta

“Ya Mamiji is yelling at me” Taaruni made a face

Harold yelped once

“Tum chup” Pallavi” warned

“Put people out of their misery, go back to him, you will make so many of us happy”

“Yes and be looking for the conveyance deed for the rest of my life?”

“NO, that is OVER. You have a store now. Mmmy can sit over the weekend, I can do two hours in the afternoon when the boys are in school, Shankar hai, Tushar chale jaayenge once a week”

“What will I say to him?”

“To who?”

“Pradyut?”

“Tell him, its all settled we are no longer at each others’ throats, lets live our life”

“WHY will he take me as his wife now?”

“To kuch bhi nahi hai tum dono ke beech?”

“I don’t know… I don’t think there is, he is not angry I left him, even though he is in love, he is upset I didn’t inform him”

“I am a fool na? Jaise Ma kehti hai… Singapore gayi padhne, US jaana chahti thi, Shiv Chandel ke saath umm… u know”

Pallavi was sad

“Tch tch tch… shhhhh… ek dum chup” she gathered Taaruni in her arms

“Your brother would play the dumbest Hindi movie comic scenes when I was pregnant, so I could laugh every day, aur tum ro rahi ho?”

“BTW, Tushar ne mujhe bola Pradyut ne store hours mein security lagayi hai?” she whispered

Taaruni froze and lifted her head up, wiping away her tears

“This is one of Bhai’s lies?”

Back to today…

Taaruni sat in bed between her sleeping nephews, the dog slept at her feet

Her heart was hammering

“Have you secured the store with guards?” she asked

Over a half hour passed and there was no answer

And then a ping….

“Why?”

“Maine kya poochha?”

“Its late Taara I am going to bed”

“Oh”

“I will see you at your next appointment”

“The baby kicks now”

“I KNOW…. I felt it” he said reminding her of the intimate hug and the neck kiss

He is one lucky guy! Just a moment of intimacy and he got to feel both the mom and baby

Usually babies play hide and seek with the fathers

Guarded in every sense 😮😢.

Both want to guard their true feeling.
