"Well, tonight, I would like to announce that Naina, my daughter, and Alekh, my best friend's son, are going to get engaged, on the 20th of the next month!"
And then, as was expected, Naina, after hearing this news, and yes, after undergoing some fits and laughter shocks, fainted, on the spot!
"Naina! Naina!", said her mom. "Aunty, mere khayaal se humein isey andar le jaana chaahiye. Bechaari khushi se behosh ho gayi hogi." "Haan beta, tu bilkul theek keh rahi hai. Yehi hua hoga. Chal, ab meri madad kar isey andar le jaane mein."
Haila! It was such a blunder! And yes, this was the same 'Big Blunder', about which I mentioned in the very beginning!
And yeah, it wasn't only Naina's parents, who wanted this to happen, even Alekh's parents were extremely happy at this news, because they loved Naina, and they thought that only she's the one, who can take good care of their 'Lovely' son!
"Yes people, this news is correct! I would request all of you, to please be present on this auspicious day. And yes, not to forget, the venue remains the same. Enjoy." Alekh was shocked, and was going through a big depression, at this very peculiar moment of his life!
"Hahaha, dad, you're fine na?" "Haan bete, why? Any problem?" "No papa, no… no problem. I'll just be back." "Everything fine, ji?", asked Alekh's mom. "Haan, haan. Sab theek hai. Woh, pehli baar shaadi kar raha hai na, isi liye thoda khabra raha hai, warna toh, sab theek hee hai."
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWW!",said Alekh, as he went outside the hall, into the BIG Heaven, I mean, the BIG garden outside!
"EEWEEWEEW! Yeh HO kya raha hai mere saath? Ab mera itna bura waqt aa gaya hai Huda, ki main uss stupid, idiotic Hunter-waali Grandma ke saath shaadi karoonga?" "Aur nahin toh! Aur vaise bhi, buraayi kya hai Naina mein? Kitni achi toh hai woh. Tera kitna khayaal rakhegi. Aur haan, yeh mat bhool, that she loves you so very much!" and saying this, Huda burst out laughing!
"Haan, haan, aur hass. Jab tere saath aisa kuch hoga na, tab tujhe pata chalega." "Dekh bhai. Mere saath toh aisa kuch hone se raha. Mere liye toh hai naa woh, Pooja. Bhai, main toh uss hee se shaadi karoonga." "How lucky! Yaar, mere dimaag mein naa, kuch aise-aise ideas aa rahe hain ki bas na, main na, bas, bas-…" "Ki tu na, bas 'bas-bas' hee karte rahiyo. Aur haan, apne dimaag se bhaagne waala plan toh tu bilkul nikaal hee dey!" "Kya yaar! Phir main kya karun?" "Kya karega! Meri maan, Naina se shaadi karle. You won't find a better match for yourself, than her." "Maybe… you're right!"

😆 praks I cant stop laughing...the whole part was soo funny!!!!!! it's awesome!!!!!! bichaari naina..she must be soo shocked!!!!! did alekh really agree to marry naina or is he just going to trouble her??? and are they going to get married or is raj going to enter????? I'm a huge R-N fan but I really hope this is a alekh-naina ff.... Is huda definitely marring pooja???that wud be nice too.....

Humein toh laga tha ki tu kabhi uthegi hee nahin!" "Aur phirbhi tum logon ne kuch nahin kiya, mujhe uthaane ke liye?" "Kyun? Kya karna tha? Kya pharak padta hai ki tu uthey, ya naa uthey!" said Pooja, and laughed. "Pooja! Haan, haan. Ab toh tum log yehi kahoge naa!" "Oho Naina! Tu toh baaton ko bahut seriously ley leyti hai." "Kya karun Pooja? Mom aur dad ne meri shaadi uss laloo se mujhse bina pooche hee karwaadi. Yeh bhi koi baat hui ab?" "Naina, sirf marriage fix hee toh ki hai unhone. Abhi tak karwaayi kahaan hai? Baaki toh sab, tu kar hee sakti hai naa." said Pooja, with a slight look of mischief on her face. "Woh toh tu soch bhi mat na!" "Kyun?" "Dekh yaar, mere bhaag jaane se mom and dad kitne dukhi honge, and I seriously don't want to hurt them. They must have thought something beneficial for me, nahin?" "Hmmm… maybe you're right!"

Haila! Ek taraf thhey Huda ji, who was there to stop his lovely friend, from ruining his life and running away from his marriage, and another one was Pooja, who was encouraging Naina to runaway from her marriage, and was telling her new-new techniques to runaway. Contrasting couple, I must say!

"Naina, mujhe toh yeh yakeen hee nahin ho raha beta ki teri engagement ho rahi hai!" "Haan mama, mujhe bhi kahaan yakeen ho raha hai!", said Naina, undoubtedly cross. "Acha, bas, ab tu jaldi-se tayaar hokar neeche aaja, Alekh bas abhi aata hee hoga." "Kyun?" "Kyun??????Bete, tu yeh…" "Kyun main yeh sawaal pooch rahi hoon, mama, main yeh kehne waali thi. Aakhir aap jo bhi kar rahe ho, meri buraayi, ah, achaayi ke liye hee toh kar rahe ho naa!" "Lekin Naina, tu khush toh hai na beta?" "Haan mom, bahut khush hoon." Then, the so-called understanding mother-daughter hug each other. Jo bhi ho, scene toh yeh waala solid tha, 10/10!

Just then, Pooja enters… "Namaste aunty, hi Naina!" "Hello beta!" "Hey Pooja!", said Naina, quite jolly now. "Acha hua Pooja ki tu aa gayi. Mujhe toh abhi bhi bahut saara kaam baaki hai. Main chalti hoon. Tu jaldi-se Naina ko tayaar karke neeche aaja. Tujhe bhi abhi bahut saara kaam karna hai, aur tayaar bhi toh hona hai na!" "Haanji! Main bas abhi aayi." Naina's mom goes away, extremely delightful, at this new change in her 'Angel's' life.

Well, well, Naina wasn't upset today, because she was getting engaged, but yes, she surely WAS upset today, because she was getting engaged, so soon, and yes, not to forget, she was also upset because she had to get READY! Oh! What a pain!
