Anuj and Taaruni were booked into KaiserHof Wein, two entire days were spent poring over documents of who owned the prospective property and making calls to Gopal and Sohail Virk and other Biz Dev and Towers Legal team in India about what it would take to develop

When Anuj was sleeping off his jet lag, she snuck out to wander the neighborhood buying trinkets and clothes for her nephews

Gopal’s plan was in motion, he was going to send Anuj to Dabolim Goa to sort out a legal hassle with acquiring the land for development

He told Sumedha he woed Anuj a proper trip to Vienna

“I cant be using my high performing employees like this” he growled

“You are doing it for me”

“He doesn’t know that, he is going to be disappointed, so after Pradyut and Taaruni return from their jaunt I must send Sohail and Anuj back again

Sumedha shrugged

She didn’t need to know

But it warmed her heard that her husband was a good man

The puppy was scampering from room to room looking for Taaruni, who FT almost 3 times a day under the pretext, and Sumedha patiently walked from room to room so she could see Harold

Pradyut called her, on day 2

“Did u really want to keep him?” he asked amused

“Did u call me to ask me that?”

“I did.. my lease is up I didn’t know the landlord was going to allow pets, he usually does a walk through inspection upon renewal”

“You don’t OWN the place?” she was horrified

“Why?”

He was lying but she didn’t know

“Pradyut bring him over to your parents, that’s where I left him, they OWN their house, he will be fine there” she insisted causing him to laugh

“Is that so?” he laughed out loud

“Please don’t take him back to a shelter” she worried

“How do you like Vienna” he stretched in bed, staring into her eyes

“I could easily live here… if I was a heiress”

“U just need to marry a hier”

“I leave for Portsmouth tomorrow” he informed

She wanted to know but was too proud to ask

“I am sorry” she laughed

He missed her at home, but didn’t want to tell her

“If it weren’t for Shashi’s food I would have left 3 days ago”

“Maybe you should cancel and stay home?”

“I wont get your sympathy for going to Portsmouth then” he countered

“Touche” she bit her lower lip as color spread over her face and neck

“You have to decide what u want more Taara”

“I guess… you can always return soon?” she smiled sweetly

“Theres that… I agree”

Both had no idea Gaurav had sold two rare books for a horrible bargain and told his mother he was returning to Bangalore, but was headed to Delhi

“You can return tonight, Mr. Lazarus says we can make this work, I told him you are in Vienna and if we can wait a week”

“Why did you say that sir… I don’t think we should wait, if we move fast we can talk the land owner into selling us that corner 5 acre lot as well”

“Umm.. I think we can wait” Gopal explained it was not urgent, feeling the sense of shame acutely for doing this to the young man

The Dabolim deal was Anuj and Sohail’s they were invested deeply

There was an outstanding issue in Goa but nothing that would make or break the buying agreement

“Why don’t you ask Prad to get over here and take over from me?” Anuj offered by himself

“He just got to Portsmouth”

“No we can wait, I can let Taaruni Bhushan know he is on his way” Anuj explained

“Can you do that?” Gopal he was shocked

“Absolutely sir, I will get off your call and ping Prad”

“K then” Gopal was truly astonished by Anuj’s statement and heartbroken

Since Anuj took off to catch the first flight home he left a text for her and left a note at the front desk

When Taaruni woke up 4 hours later around 11 that night… she was stunned.
