Simon looked at her, a little surprised. "What do you mean, Kripa? It looks a little serious." He got up to go to them when Kripa pulled him back. "I wouldnt interfere if I was you. Just let them be..its their problem!" A little reluctantly, Simon sat back and watched them. Suddenly, Chandni stormed out of the club, leaving Angad behind. He seemed so angry. Suddenly, he looked at her with the most disgusted look ever that said I-wont-spare-you. But it was Kripa Sharma. she wasnt scared of him. The smile stayed.

Angad quickly rushed out of the club and ran behind Chandni, trying to catch up to her. But she was running away pretty fast. Before he could catch her, she got into the car and turned it on. Angad finally caught up and banged on her window. "Open the door Chandni!"

"Just go away!!" She grinded her teeth in anger as she put her leg on the accelerator. "You're drunk goddamit!! Chandni..." She didnt listen and drove off.

Already panicking, Angad ran back to the club and upto Kripa. "We have to go! Get up."

"What?"

"Just shut the hell up and get your car out. Chandni just left with my car and she's drunk."

"Just go away Angad. I dont have time for you." She got up to leave when Angad caught her arm. "Kripa, I swear. If anything happens to her tonight. I wont forgive you for this.." The anger in his eyes was so strong that she silently agreed.

Kripa kept driving on the dark highway. "Angad I dont see your car. She might have gone home already. I'll just drop you and.."

"Just keep driving!" She took a deep breath and continued. After a few minutes, they saw a few lights down the road. "What is that?" Angad tried to figure out as Kripa kept driving. When they got closer to it, Kripa stopped her car and they got out.

When they did, they saw police cars and an ambulence gathered around a car. He looked harder and then screamed. "Chandni!!!" Shocked, Kripa just looked at him. "Angad.." He just ran as fast as he could towards the car but was stopped by the cops. "Sir, you cant go any further."

"Let me go! Thats Chandni!! She's my girlfriend!! please let me go!!"

"I'm sorry Sir. I have orders to not let anyone go in."

"Where is she?"

"In the ambulence Sir. You can go with them to the hospital."

"Thank you." He quickly hurried over to the ambulence. "Chandni.." He got into the van and the doors closed on Kripa as she stood there with a scared expression on her face. If anything happened to Chandni, she wouldnt be able to forgive herself, she thought.

"Angad.." Chandni tried to breathe as the hospital staff tried to rush her to the operation theatre. Angad held her hands really tight. "Chand I'm right here!! I'm..is she gonna be okay?" He asked the nurse as she totally ignored his question. As they pushed the stretcher right into the operation theatre, the door closed on Angad and he just stood there in complete shock.

He waited for the operation to be over as he sat on the bench outside the door. His face rested on his hands as he just sat there, shocked out of his mind. He felt someone's hand on his shoulder and he turned to see Kripa sitting next to him. He stared right into her eyes with so much anger that she thought her heart was going to stop. "I swear Kripa..if anything.." He held his hand in front of her as if he was accusing her of something. "Anything..I'll never.." His words werent coming out right anymore. He was too shocked to say anything. "Angad I didnt mean to.." He got up and left, leaving her shattered.

"Mr. Angad Khanna?" The doctor walked out of the Operation Theatre and looked for him. "Thats me!" He quickly got up and walked to her. "How is she?"

"She wants to see you." What did that mean? She was fine? She wasnt fine? How was she? The doctor walked away, not giving him a chance to ask. Without further delay, he walked into the room.

When he saw her, he didnt want to move again. His breaths got faster and his steps slower. She lay on the bed with a bandaged head that was half red with her blood. He sat down on her bed, next to her. "Angad..." She whispered as she opened her eyes. "I'm right here, Chand." She smiled when she looked at him.

"Chand, everything is gonna be fine. You'll be out of here in no time and after that, I promise to never let you be alone or ever hurt you in anyway. I'm.."

"Theres no time to be sorry Angad.."

"Dont say that Chandni. Everything is gonna be just fine."

"No Angad.." She nodded her head. "This is it. I dont have enough time."

"Chand.."

"Angad. I know you never loved me. But before I go away forever..I just wanted you to be honest with me once..just for once."

"This isnt the time to talk. You need to rest. I'll come back later." He got up to leave when she caught his hand. "no Angad. If I rest now..it will be forever." He wanted to hold her tight and cry. But he controlled himself. "Come here, Angad." He sat down next to her again. She took his hands in hers. "Angad..before I go. I just want you to give me what I always wanted. Just this once.."

"What is it that you desire?"

"Tell me what really happened between kripa and you, Angad. Because before I die, I want to know whether I really deserved you or not..."

"You deserve every happiness that exists chandni. I dont.."

"Did you love her?" He took a deep breath. "Do you really want me to do this?" She nodded her head. "ok then.." He got up and turned around, not being able to face her eyes. "Chand, Kripa and I met 10 years ago at our junior prom. I was King and she was queen. It was all perfect. That night, as we danced for the first time in each other's arms..I thought I had found The One. I mean, she was perfect Chand...as perfect as you.." He turned around now. Her eyes were still looking at him. He sat down again and caressed her face. "She was just like you...innocent, beautiful, loving..everything that you are." He stared at her for a few moments as she closed her eyes to take a deep breath. "Go on, Angad."

He nodded his head and then took her hands in his. "10 years ago, I was a different man. Infact, I was a total opposite. I was in love with love. I was just..more caring, more loving. I know it wasnt the best things in life but I did change because 10 years ago, my life changed..and miserably!"

"I asked her out in a weeks time. Beautiful..thats the only word I could have given it. Things were going on so perfect that now that I think about it..something had to go wrong. And it did!"

"About 3 months into the relationship..Kripa got an offer from one of the best modelling agencies. She was so excited and I couldnt be happier. But then..it was too good to be true I guess. She moved to the city for her assignments and I stayed back in our small town. Slowly, we started losing contact when she started getting busy each day. Before I knew, my parents had decided to send me to London forever. I was shocked. I tried to contact Kripa to tell her but I didnt reach her. Modelling had made her so busy that we hardly talked anymore. I emailed her on my last night in India. I told her how I was moving and I wanted to know whether she wanted to break up. I waited for her email all night long but I didnt get it. I waited at the airport..hoping she would call my cell but she didnt. A week later, I got her email." He stopped to take a deep breath.

"What did it say?" He heard her voice behind him as she spoke after a long time. "She wished me good luck and told me that if its destined..we would meet again one day."

"And you did...that night of the party."

"And maybe thats why we.." He paused and then took her hand in his. "I'm really sorry Chandni. I didnt want to hurt you."

"Is that all there is you want to say Angad?" He lifted his head to look at her again. "No. I have one more thing to say..but only if you promise not to leave me."

"I love you too much to leave you angad..no matter where I am. I'll always be with you.." He smiled and kissed her forehead. "Chand...that email. It wasnt just a little goodbye note. In that email..that night..she told me that...that she was pregnant." She left his hand suddenly. He looked at it for a moment and then looked away. "She told me she was going to get an abortion done because it was the best thing to do. I had my own dreams..she had her own."

"Pregnant..and you asked her to kill your own baby?"

"No..but I didnt stop her."

"You never regretted it?"

"I still do.." Chandni looked at him now. "Why didnt you tell me this Angad?"

"I never wanted to lose you..because.."

"If you would have just told me once, Angad. I guess you never trusted my love for you." Her face started getting paler. "Thats not true Chandni. I always.." Her breaths started getting heavier. Scared, he hugged her tightly. "Dont leave me, Chandni. please.."

"You still love her, Angad..go back to her." He hugged her tighter when her body sunk. "I love you Chandni..I love you." But it was too late. She was gone. He felt the tears flowing from his eyes. He had lost his love..once again.

"I'm really sorry Sir. But it wasnt in our hands." The doctor tried to console Angad as he just stood there, almost frozen. The doctor left after a few words of formality and Angad watched as the nurses took Chandni's body away. They had to finish some formalities before they could give Angad her body.

He stood there, in the empty room for a while before he walked outside. As he passed by the door, he saw kripa standing there. Her eyes were red. Maybe she was crying, maybe she wasnt. She quietly placed a hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry Angad. I hope youre okay."

He just looked at her with such a disgusted look that she wanted to run away from there. "Dont look at me like that Angad."

"I wish that I never have to see you again." He walked away, leaving her really guilty about whatever happened. Even though she didnt mean for any of this to happen, she did have a little to do with what happened. If she hadnt told Chandni anything then maybe she would still be alive. But the reality was in front of them. They had to accept it.

Angad sat in his room when Simon walked in. Angad looked up to see who it was but then looked away when he saw Simon. Even though Simon was Kripa's boyfriend, he was Angad's friend too. "Lets go Angad. Its time for the funeral."

"I'm not ready for it Simon. i dont wanna let go yet."

"No one does, Angad. but life goes on right? Come on..lets go." Angad looked at the picture of Chandni he held in his hand. "She didnt have to leave, you know."

Simon felt bad for his friend. He placed a hand on his shoulder. "Everything has a reason buddy..she had leave. so she did. you had to live and so now you need to move on." He got up and moved away. "Its easy for you to say Simon...its so hard to..to live in the same room as she once did and not miss her."

He walked to the bed. "I can still smell her here. I can still her..her face when I wake up. I can.." He sat down on the bed with his head in his hands. "I cant get her out of my mind Simon..."

"Angad...come on. lets go outside. everyone is waiting for you." He felt so defeated. Angad nodded his head and walked out the room with Simon.

When he stepped out, he saw everyone sitting on the floor, dressed in all white. He lowered his eyes and walked towards Chandni's body. He sat down next to her and held her hand again, for the last time. Her hands felt so cold, he wanted to die himself. He controlled himself as he felt some tears come to him.

Suddenly, he looked up when he heard someone at the door. It was Kripa. She was dressed in all white, to show some respect to Chandni. Angad was shocked to see her there. After all she had done, he wished he had never seen her again. He watched her walk towards him and then sit in front of Chandni's body. She smiled sympathetically and then placed a hand on his shoulder. "Everything will be fine Angad." He just stared at her for a few seconds.

Suddenly, he stood up and Kripa turned her head up to look at him. "Leave..leave right now!" She couldnt believe him. "Angad?" When she didnt move, he grabbed her arm and dragged her to the door. "Angad!!!" Everyone around him screamed. Kripa felt so humiliated in front of all the people. As he dragged Kripa to the door, she looked at Simon with plea to stop this humiliation. But Simon was too shocked himself to do or say anything.

Finally he almost pushed her to the door. They both stared at each other with anger and disgust. "Just go away, Kripa. I dont want to see you in my life again. I think we've all had enough!" He didnt wait for her to say anything and even if he had, she wouldnt say anything. He closed the door on her, leaving her completely angry, humiliated, and embarrased.
