After their lunch, Ram was busy in his office work while Siya was busy arranging their room. Her cellphone beeped, which was placed on the bed, beside him.

SIYA- Ram.. check kijiye na.. may be it is from office..

Siya requested him to check the message from her phone. Ram takes the hold of her cellphone and gets startled witnessing the sender's name.

RAM- Ye Akash aapko kyu message kar raha hai.?

Asked Ram gaining Siya's attention. She turns to face him and his mixed expressions of surprise plus jealous. She smile at him lightly.

SIYA- aise kya dekh rahe hai.? It must be a timepass message..

Said Siya in an obvious tone while Ram clicks on the notification to find a "normal message" as Siya told.

SIYA- dekha..? Told you already.

Said Siya continuing her work when she heard nothing from Ram's end.

RAM- ha to.. its ok. Ek bhai, apni behen ko message to kar hi sakta hai .

Said Ram to Siya, but rather making himself understand. He keeps her cellphone aside while Siya chuckled at him.

RAM- what ? What are you laughing at .?

Asked Ram in confusion. Siya shook her head lightly and moves towards him.

SIYA- are you insecure.?

Asked Siya folding her hands while Ram smile at her lightly. At the next moment, he shook his head and answered.

RAM- mmhhhmm... Bas.. jealous..

Siya giggles at his words for which Ram nods in disbelief at her reaction.

SIYA- Ram.. why are you jealous.? And that too of Akash.?

Ram smile at her question and takes the hold of her hand. He indicates her to settle down beside him and she followed.

RAM- kya karu.? Hojati hai jealousy.. ab aap hai hi aisi..

Said Ram giving a light pinch on Siya's nose while she continued laughing at him. Her eyes falls on his laptop and then at the next moment she looks at him.

SIYA- aap.. important kam kar rahe hai kya.?

Asked Siya for which Ram shook his head in no.

RAM- kahiye. What you want to talk about..

Siya looks startled hearing his words. The next moment a sweet smile crept on her face and she immediately holds his hand in hers.

SIYA- like always, you got to know that I want to have a talk with you..

Said Siya smiling in disbelief. Ram uplifts his one eyebrow giving a side smile to her.

RAM- hum to... Aise hi hai..

Said Ram keeping his laptop aside. He turns towards Siya again and waited for her to speak.

SIYA- maa se.. meri bat hui thi..

Siya started telling him about her conversation with Kranti which they had the previous day. Ram nods at her lightly, understanding what the ladies must had a discussion about.

SIYA- bat thi... about..about... you know...

RAM- baby..

Ram completes her sentence as she was finding words to say. She nods her head in agreement.

RAM- fir.?

Siya takes a deep breath closing her eyes for a moment and then looks at Ram.

SIYA- I will ask you one question.. answer me genuinely..

Said Siya in a request for which Ram nods at her in agreement again. She looks at their intertwined hands and tighten the grip, motioning her eyes towards Ram again.

SIYA- what do you want regarding this, right now.?

Ram smile hearing her question. Though they had a conversation last time, in which he has told her that she has to take the final decision regarding the baby. But still Siya wants to hear from Ram, his point. He took a pause for a while keeping Siya to wait for his answer.

RAM- Siya... Jaise ek woman ke liye, motherhood ek bohot badi bat hoti hai.. waise hi.. for a man, fatherhood is something big, something special..

Ram started telling her about his feelings and thoughts, looking at her.

RAM- and right now.. I wish to experience that..

Said Ram with a warm smile on his face telling her that he wishes for their new journey to start. Siya kept on staring at him without having any expressions.

RAM- I am eager to go through that phase Siya.. I am eager to do small-big things for you. Pregnancy me jab aap kam karengi, to mujhe aapka khayal rakhne ka mann kar raha hai..

Siya looks at him getting surprised for his sudden words. He understood what her expressions are saying and keeps his palm on her cheek.

RAM- I am eager to take your care, to pamper you. I am eager to help you to walk because you'll be carrying our baby inside you. I'm eager to handle your mood swings..

Siya's eyes automatically started getting filled with sudden tears hearing his excitement. She felt an urge to cry right now, looking at Ram's eagerness for everything.

RAM- aapko jab late night food cravings hongi.. tab.. I want to get you all that you want.. when you'll get body ache and swellings, tab mujhe aapko better feel karwana hai. Aapko jab rat me nind nahi ayegi na, tab me bhi apke sath jagna chahta hu..

Ram too gets emotional as his voice started breaking while speaking. He cleared his throat for a moment and looks at Siya who was smiling at him having tears in her eyes.

RAM- I am very much eager for this period Siya.. I want to hear those three magical words from you...

Siya scrunched her eyebrows looking confused about the "three magical words" Ram is talking about. He pulls her towards him and rests his forehead on her head. Both of them closed their eyes and Ram whispered at her.

RAM- I want to hear from you that " We are pregnant..."

Ram disclosed that magical words he wants to hear from Siya. On the other hand, Siya could not control her emotions and she immediately embraced him in a tight hug and started crying. Ram placed his hand on her back of the head and caresses her softly.

RAM- Siya.. kya hua.?

Siya shook her head sideways, and tightens the grip on him, crying more loudly.

RAM- aapke to abhi se mood swings mujhe dikhayi de rahe hai..

Said Ram in a joke while Siya giggles lightly. She wipes her tears and kept on holding him near her.

RAM- aapko.. bura laga ho to.. sorry Siya..

She turns her face at him and found him already looking at her. He uplifts his eyebrows asking her to say anything. She got back to her position and kept on hugging her.

SIYA- let me be like this.. for sometime..

Siya requested him for which Ram smile at her. He envelope her fully in his embrace and Siya closed her eyes, feeling him near her. Both of them goes silent, saying nothing to each other and busy in their own thoughts...

In Bharat and Manvi's room, both of them were busy in their work, Manvi in her laptop and Bharat in his cellphone. Suddenly Manvi breaks the silence between them.

MANVI- oh no.. dii ne kal ke meeting ka report to bheja hi nahi..

Said Manvi in disbelief, checking her email. Bharat turns his head to look at her while she takes her cellphone in her hand and dials Siya's number.

MANVI- dii... you haven't sent the mail for yesterday's meeting..... Ji...... Ok...

She disconnects the call after talking with Siya and continued looking in the laptop. Bharat thinks something and turns completely towards Manvi.

BHARAT- Manvi.. ek baat puchu.?

Manvi looks at him for a moment and nods lightly, getting back in her laptop.

BHARAT- bhabhi... Theek hai na.?

She stops in between hearing Bharat asking for Siya. She motioned her eyes to look at him who was waiting for her reply.

MANVI- meaning.?

Bharat take a pause thinking about another words to ask her about Siya.

BHARAT- kuch dino se.. I'm observing.. bhabhi kisi soch me rehti hai.. pareshan hai kya kisi chiz ko lekar.?

Asked Bharat while remembering Siya's slight tensed face from last few days. Manvi sighed hearing his words and at the next moment she started giggling making Bharat confused.

BHARAT- what.? Kya hua.?

Asked Bharat looking confused while she kept on laughing, nodding her head in disbelief.

MANVI- aapka ye question sunke.. wo bat yad agayi..

Said Manvi still having a wide smile on her face. Bharat scrunched his eyebrows looking at her.

BHARAT- kya bat.?

Manvi continued laughing not paying much attention to Bharat, while he became impatient.

BHARAT- come on Manvi.. I'm asking seriously..

Manvi stopped her laugh and looks at Bharat's expressions.

BHARAT- I'm getting worried for her.. kya hua hai batayiye na..?

Manvi keeps her laptop aside and turns to face Bharat.

MANVI- aapki bhabhi ko.. kuch nahi hua hai.. wo bas.. ek hi chiz ke bare me sochti rehti hai aajkal..

Said Manvi giving stress to the word "chiz". Bharat still looks confused and Manvi understood his expressions.

MANVI- oho.. nothing serious is there Bharat.. why are you being so tensed..?

Said Manvi in disbelief making Bharat to light shook his head.

BHARAT- serious bat nahi hai to bhabhi tension me kyu hai Manvi.? Batayiye na what is the matter.?

Asked Bharat further making Manvi to smile.

MANVI- hamare ghar me.. aajkal.. ek intersting topic chal raha hai..

Said Manvi in a dramatic way while Bharat's face grew more confused. She smile at him and said.

MANVI- dii ki pregnancy...

Said Manvi with a smirk while Bharat's eyes grew wide hearing her...

LAKSHMAN- what..?

Lakshman exclaimed in shock turning towards Urmila, who was busy arranging their bed. Both of them were too discussing about the ongoing scenario in their family.

LAKSHMAN- are you serious.? Uss din function me ye bate hui thi.?

Asked Lakshman further, as Urmila told him about that day's function after which Siya seems to be in thoughts.

URMILA- yes..

Lakshman nods in disbelief and moves towards her.

LAKSHMAN- and why do they care to ask and get worried about our family matters.? Specially with something personal of bhaiya bhabhi.?

Asked Lakshman sounding frustrated. Urmila stops in between and turns to look at him.

URMILA- chodiye na Laksh.. ye aunty log aise hi hote hai..

Said Urmila sounding annoyed. She folded her hands and continued.

URMILA- ek married woman ko.. bacche ke nam pe bate na bole. To inhe chain nahi padta..

Said Urmila in a complain while Lakshman too looks in disbelief. At the other moment Siya's thought came in his mind.

LAKSHMAN- bhabhi bohot pareshan hai kya.?

Urmila smile at his question and nods in no.

URMILA- pareshan nahi hai. But.. thodi soch me hai..

Lakshman looks confused at her. Urmila reads his expressions and holds his both the hands.

URMILA- laksh.. baby ka decision ek ladki ke liye bohot bada hota hai.. she has to be mentally prepared for that..

Lakshman thinks about the words Urmila is saying.

URMILA- dii bhi khudko.. isi chiz ke liye prepare kar rahi hai.. bas..

Lakshman bows his head down busy in his thoughts and then looks at Urmila after a while.

LAKSHMAN- should we do something for bhabhi ?

Urmila looks at him in confusion, not exactly understanding what he meant.

LAKSHMAN- I mean.. to make her feel better.. mujhe na.. bhabhi ko aise udas dekhna acha nahi lagta mila..

A smile crept on Urmila's face hearing Lakshman's concern for Siya. She touched his face lightly.

URMILA- aapki bhabhi na udas hai, na pareshan hai.. wo feeling kya hai na.. ye aap nahi samajh payenge laksh..

LAKSHMAN- why.?

Asked Lakshman sounding confused with her words. Urmila takes a deep breath not understanding how she should explain her husband.

URMILA- because.. you are a man.. aur ye feeling.. bas ek ladki samajh sakti hai..

Lakshman uplift his eyebrows as he finally understood what Urmila is trying to say. He again looks at her and asked.

LAKSHMAN- to fir.. hum kare kya..?

Urmila shook her head lightly.

URMILA- kuch nahi ...

Lakshman scrunched his eyebrows hearing her words...

SHATRUGHAN- kuch nahi.?

In their room, Shatrughan and Shruti were too busy discussing about the same topic. He moves towards Shruti who was sitting on the couch.

SHATRUGHAN- kya matlab kuch nahi.?

Shruti gave a look at him while he settled down beside her.

SHATRUGHAN- sab log bhabhi ke piche pade hai.. yaha maa.. waha Delhi me maa and taiji.. unhe samjhana to padega na..

Shruti looks at him in confusion. Shatrughan nods at her in disbelief and said.

SHATRUGHAN- I understand we boys can't speak in this.. but you girls can do it na.. samjhao tum Shruti inn sabko..ki bhabhi ko pressurize nahi kare..

Shatrughan poured his annoyance on Shruti while he holds her head looking at him in disbelief.

SHRUTI- first of all.. no one is pressuring dii about this thing..

Said Shruti giving a look at him. Shatrughan was about to speak when Shruti stops him showing her hand.

SHRUTI- and secondly... Dii and jiju has been already discussing about these things.. ab jo bhi hai, wo log decision lenge na..

Shatrughan didn't said anything and rests his back on the couch folding his hands. Shruti smile looking at his reaction.

SHRUTI- don't you want.? Ki hamare ghar me good news aye.?

Shatrughan motioned his eyes to look at her. He smile at her question.

SHATRUGHAN- of course I want.. but Shruti hamare chahne se kuch nahi hota.. bhaiya bhabhi has to decide.. specially bhabhi..

Shruti smile at his words and nods in agreement.

SHATRUGHAN- and all I want is.. ki koi bhabhi ko tang na kare..

He looks straight thinking about Siya while Shruti kept on watching him.

SHATRUGHAN- hamare family problems, then that Jayant's incident, then papa ki health.. isme bhabhi ko bohot frustration hui hai.. isme agar koi unhe tang karega bacche ko lekar.. to sahi nahi hoga na.?

Shatrughan frowns while saying those words. Shruti placed her hand on his shoulder.

SHRUTI- koi dii ko tang nahi kar raha hai cookie.. understand this..

Shatrughan looks at Shruti and she nods her head lightly.

SHRUTI- filhal situation aisa hai na.. ki family me sab log ye chiz chahte hai.. but dii has not decided anything yet.. she need to get relaxed and think..

Shatrughan rolls his eyes in disbelief.

SHATRUGHAN- wahi me keh raha hu.

SHRUTI- ha to.. isme hum bado ko kuch nahi bolenge..

Shruti immediately interrupts him gaining his attention.

SHRUTI- dii and jiju are mature enough to handle everyone.. wo sambhal lenge..

Said Shruti caressing his shoulder lightly, trying to explain him the situation. Shatrughan sighed nodding his head in agreement...

Next morning, Siya stood at the door of Urmila and Lakshman's room. Lakshman was getting ready for his office while Urmila was busy in her files. Siya knocks the door to gain their attention towards her.

URMILA- dii.. ayiye na..

Siya streched her lips lightly giving her a smile. She steps inside their room, still standing at the entrance. She looks at Urmila and then at Lakshman and then bows her head down. Lakshman understood her expressions and cleared his throat.

LAKSHMAN- aa.. bhabhi.. aap dono aram se baat kijiye.. I'll leave, anyway I'm getting late for office..

Said Lakshman moving towards the bed. He picks his office bag and smile at Urmila. He started moving towards the door and stops near Siya.

LAKSHMAN- bhabhi..

Siya motioned her eyes to look at him. He wraps his one hand around her shoulder in a side hug and smile at her.

LAKSHMAN- take care.. and just be.. relaxed..

Siya scrunched her eyebrows in confusion with his sudden words. Though Lakshman didn't said anything out of the world to her, but his way and his tone seems to be different to Siya. His words defined his worries for his dear bhabhi. Lakshman caresses her shoulder lightly and motioned his eyes towards Urmila for a moment. She smiles at him and finally he leaves from the room, keeping Siya and Urmila alone. Siya was still watching Lakshman's direction when she heard Urmila calling her.

URMILA- dii..

Siya turns to face Urmila who was now standing in front of her, near her.

SIYA- Lakshman ne aisa kyu kaha.!?

Questioned Siya sounding confused with Lakshman's words. Urmila smile in disbelief at her question.

URMILA- kya kaha.? Take care hi to kaha na.?

Siya shook her head lightly denying her words.

SIYA- uss take care me bohot kuch tha. To be more appropriate, worries thi..

Said Siya now looking worried herself. Urmila gave a look at her and at the next moment started giggling making Siya confused.

SIYA- what happened.?

Asked Siya while Urmila stopped her laugh and moves more closer to Siya. She takes her elder sister's hands in her hold.

URMILA- you know what.? Aapka aur Laksh ka relationship bohot special hai.

Siya scrunched her eyebrows with Urmila's sudden words while Urmila continued.

URMILA- isme devar bhabhi wala support hai, bhai behen wali care hai, dost wala pyar hai and many more to mention..

Siya smile hearing her words about her and Lakshman's relationship. She bows her head down for a moment and then looks at Urmila.

URMILA- uss buddhu ko lagta hai.. that all are pressuring you regarding the pregnancy thing. Isliye wo thoda tensed hai aapke liye..

Siya's eyes grew lightly wide. She got to know the reason now for Lakshman's suspicious "take care" for her. She thinks about him and then smile nodding her head in disbelief.

URMILA- waise aapko kuch kam tha.?

Siya's thoughts breaks as Urmila interrupts her, asking her the reason of her visit in the room.

SIYA- ha.. wo.. will you come with me.?

Urmila looks confused at her question. Siya takes a deep breath and smile at her.

SIYA- I've to visit a gynecologist..

Urmila's eyes grew wide, with a light smile on her face, looking at Siya in surprise. While on the other hand, Siya looks at her expressions and nods her head lightly.

SIYA- just to have a... Routine checkup.. and... To discuss about... preconception care..

Urmila covers her mouth showing her over- excitement on her face. She could not believe her ears what she heard from Siya right now. The "thing", Siya is thinking about, from last few days has a result with it now.

URMILA- that means.. you...are ready..?

Asked Urmila further just to confirm the thing. Siya's smile increased and she uplifts her one eyebrow, not exactly giving answers to her question.

SIYA- I am ready for, atleast the first step into this.. that is to visit the doctor for a normal health checkup..

Urmila smile at her and at the next moment embrace her arms around Siya in a warm hug.

URMILA- I'm so happy for you dii..

Siya lightly caresses her back and after a moment, Urmila leaves her.

URMILA- jiju ko bataya.?

Siya remembers the previous day conversation with Ram, when he had expressed his feelings towards her. She nods her head in agreement making Urmila to get more happy.

SIYA- I wanted to visit the doctor with him.. but.. aaj wo thoda busy hai office me. That's why I didn't asked him as I don't want to disturb him..

Urmila holds her shoulders and nods her head agreeing with her words.

URMILA- it's ok dii.. but I'll suggest that from next time, you and jiju visit together..

Siya nods at her in agreement.

SIYA- yes.. we've to..

Urmila again envelopes her arms around Siya while Siya giggles at her.

SIYA- acha listen.. ghar me... Filhal kisiko batate nahi hai..

Urmila motioned her eyes to look at Siya. She could understand why Siya is saying that way. Urmila nods her head lightly.

SIYA- Manvi aur Shruti se keh dena.. to handle everything till we return..

Urmila smile at her and again nods in agreement. Siya placed her palm on Urmila's cheek.

SIYA- get ready.. then chalte hai..

URMILA- ok..

Siya smile at her and turns to leave towards her room. She stops herself in the middle and smile suddenly at her decision. She shook her head in disbelief and finally moves towards her room...

Ram's jealousy and that "brother can send his sister message" 🤣 The following conversation was good, Ram's emotions as a father was really a different point of view- which we often overlook. You cleverly entangled the conversation of the other three couples. This time I am team devars! 🤔 Loved that Siya wanted Urmila to come with her. Don't get me wrong, I love Shruti and Manvi too and the bonding of four sisters. But when it comes to serious matters, I feel Urmila is the best emotional support system of Siya.

Kranti's realisation episode was one of that, I will say the best emotional episode, which felt so soothing while reading. This is another one in the bag. Ram's emotions was so natural and practical, I mean how do you write with such ease yar. The emotions of Lakshman Bharat and Shatrughan were also on point. Lakshman ka take care, was so beautiful that I cried that time. Finally Siya decided to atleast visit the doctor. Hope everything is fine, (please don't introduce any twist) Will be waiting for next part.
