Jokes apart, the guy is at least trying ,cmon, give him a break . Prejudice and honesty works both ways . The truth I see is this way. He is in love and he's married to someone who belongs to a background he's isn't too familiar with growing up, though urban as the Mathurs are. He's trying to tell his wifey that he wants her by his side , wants kids with her. So this guy is trying to mask his misgivings , while also trying to his mom at bay , while also trying getting comfortable at least with this wife's unit from that background . So you see my point is at least the guy is TRYING for eff's sake!!! Trying being the buzzword !!!

BTW! One more thing needs a mention! Yes the guy is in charge of contraceptive , but would Viveka Mathur have it any other way under the circumstances?! So don't load it on him and make those smart ass snarky comments on Anu's or Dadi's expectations Ms. Mathur!!

Viveka Mathur is plainly neither walking the talk nor willing to talk !!!! I don't remember her to be the one not ready for a tete- a tete !! What gives ! She's not too different from Naina now!! She's become a pain in the ass! A pain, he's enough in love with to tolerate !!!

YES! Viveka feels this fervent URGE to fix Naina's life. That is going to be her downfall

Insecure

She wants a forever with him but doesn't want to say it. He wants it too but has not made it clear to her.

The Royals

Smrita does act like she is a queen. Raanav had his viewpoint but we have not exactly seen him acting pricey that much. He hid his feelings. But regardless, even if Raanav and Smrita talked negatively about Naina, Inder had to make up his own mind. He failed to do that.

Degree of hypocrisy

Both Raanav and Veev have now said the words. But the matter is far from over. They need to seriously discuss where they are going in their relationship and what they want.

The bigger hypocrites are Naina and Inder. They did not care for public opinion when they were busy hooking up. Now all the blame is to be held by others for not supporting them. Either they care about what others think and act like it, or they don't care and follow their own paths. They can not have their cake and eat it too.

Lying in obsession

Has Raanav ever been obsessed with anyone? Is he feeling obsessed with Veev right now?

“Thanks for making everything so colossally boring Ms Mathur” he pinned her on the wall and began kissing her urgently

“Its actually Mrs Parashar” she giggled

“God grief!!” he swore, and then cursed loudly in joy
