Inder and Naina shenanigans ...what else can one add to it. Other than age is just a number some folks remain a crying toddler all their lives.

Anu has borne the brunt of Dadi taunts wishes throughout her married life...one would thing she has learned a lesson and will not repeat the same. Plus she thinks she is not old fashioned as Akash.

So who is she to determine that when her adult married daughter should have babies ? Is that not a decision of the couple..why is that any different from Dadi, Akash,Satyen..Varsha . Because she thinks that will hamper their ability to fly ? Viv is not 12 but 30 😏

Anu always comes across as have my cake and eat it too. So Varsha mom talked about Varsha maternal instincts etc..why does it bother her. She wants them to think and behave like her. Is that not a tall order.

If Viv (not she the mother) does not want to have a baby or say cannot have one (so why is that to be ashamed of ) ...she wants them not to say anything 🙄 Whether Akash said anything or not folks will still talk,gossip...why can she cannot address it with them.

If Naina is also the product of Anu and Akash's upbringing like veev and her younger sisters, then she has the smarts to know when to cut her losses in relationships!!

She was impulsive and starry eyed to go deep into a bad relationship, but shit happens. If that lecher, Abhishek had managed to get Viveka in bed and taped it for his sadistic pleasure, the also it would have been like shit happens !

I think , papers that are needed to annul their marriage,need to be drawn now and Naina better get her ass over to her parents and deal with this shit.

For some reason that I've not quite figured it out yet, I like this girl....with all her flaws, her stupidity, her grudges ... self esteem, self destruction, her fall and her bungled attempts to get herself out of the muddy waters. She's no Ms.goody goody shoes, not always responsible towards herself or her family , yet she's sort of, true to herself .

Aakash owes Inder NOTHING. Least of all, when Naina wants nothing to do with him.. I can't understand why Aakash is on the back foot when dealing with him?

A very precise statement.. Like an adult, a terribly irresponsible one if I might add, Naina has so far done whatever she felt like. Inder has been the accomplice in much of it. What makes him think that Aakash holds enough leverage to influence her in anyway?

Inder has no ground to hold a grudge against anyone. He is the worst sort of weasel in this situation.. no one forced him to do anything!

For all of Raanav and Smrita's prejudice or brainwashing, he continued his thing with Naina until as recently as Lohri. He comfortably sat back and let Naina chase him.

To Naina, his family was the culprit of keeping them apart. To his family, Naina was a middle class floozie chasing his wealth. Inder, the poor, innocent baby was suffering between them. NOT.

Exterminating a relationship

Anu brought chai and a bunch of breakfast items. Akash had made aloo stuffed sandwiches this morning as she had a headache and they weren’t on talking terms

Anu made poha and oatmeal and had the help go out and buy muffins

Inder ate like he hadn’t eaten in weeks

“Naina kab aayegi beta? Dadi enquired

“Pata nahi Ma”

“Dadi can I talk to Naina?” Inder decided to grovel at Dadi’s feet

“Mere paas uska number nahi hai, hamri Biveka ka hai”

“I am serious… I WANT TO see her, why would I fly down from London and drive up from the airport if I was joking” Inder turned to Akash

“LANDAN se aaya beta?” Dadi was shocked

“Amma aap naha lo, pooran maashi hai mandir nahi jaayiyega?”

“YEH LANDAN SE AAYA HAI?” Dadi repeated “Batao! Subah subah?”

“Amma aap naha lo” Anu appeared in the doorway

“theek hai naha loongi, Biveka ko milao us hee se baat kar lega”

“Ma… nahi” “So gaye honge”

“ABHI kaha?” dadi was the master of world clock

“Amma paani garam hai” Anu willed Dadi to follow her using her mental powers

But Dadi called Viveka

They had gone off to the University in the morning and returned home to a another intellectual argument about British colonization of India and ended it with wild passionate… in the bed

Viveka didn’t answer as she was asleep

Raanav answered sleepily

“Hamari Biveka kidhar hai beta?”

Inder’s ears cocked up, he immediately dialed Raanav who ignored his call

“Shes asleep, who so rahi hai”

“Shaam ke 6 baje so rahi hai?”

Anu did a face palm

“Ma who jet lagged hogi, jaise plane se jaate hain” Akash grabbed Dadi’s phone

“Sorry beta so jao aap” Akash ordered sheepishly

“Is everything OK?”

“NOT OK” Inder scowled

“Sab theek hai… Veev kaisi hai?”

“Shes taking a nap”

“Aap bhi soye they?” Akash enquired

“Yes sorry” he growled in a sleep drugged voice “Is everything OK would u like to speak with her?”

“Bilqul bilqul beta” Akash was panting as he had walked to the master bedroom balcony

Anu was furious with Dadi

“Mrs se baat karo beta”

“Arey REHNE DO soney do” Anu was more upset with him now

“Arey kyon karwa rahe ho meri baat” Anu backed off

“Ek second” Akash glared shoving Dadi’s phone to her

“How many political arguments have u had till now” Anu sounded unsure and nervous but she giggled anyway.

“I am going to say two… she can give you her count” he laughed

“Good to hear your voice Raanav”

“same… umm.. Mrs um Mathur”

“Veev ko kehna kabhi hamey yaad kar le”

“I will tell her”

“Have a good time… and don’t call”

He laughed hysterically

“I know… I changed my mind” Anu smiled

She liked this guy

He was easy and pleasant and was a strong person, Veev could not walk all over him

Viveka snuggled slowly still asleep, he was overcome with warmth he grabbed and held her tight

“Good night”

“Thanks”

He hung up and gently placed her on his body and fell asleep again

Akash and Anu were whispering in the balcony the door shut behind them

“I don’t know iska ab main kya karoon?”

“Bhej do apni Bua ke ghar” Anu was flippant

“Jaanti ho na kya hoga?”

“Naina hasn’t stolen the Parashar family jewels Akash, she has told him she doesn’t care for him, he is a drifter… you yourself said Satyen mentioned he has struggled to find his footing”

“Naina was OK to date him”

“Haan to AB kya karen, who baat to HO CHUKI na Akash?” Anu’s head was throbbing

“I cant say what Satyen said”

“Offooh! Aap usko yeh keh dein Naina bahar gayi hai do din ke liye, baad mein call karke aa jaayega”

“This is so ridiculous”

“Its NOT she realized her colossal stupidity and is walking away from it by acting like we are sympathizing with Inder we are letting him in again, agar uski Ma aur Bua ko pata laga she would exterminate us”

“We are letting our hatred for Smrita Parashar dictate how we should deal with the dsituation”

“To theek hai AAP usko entertain karen, aur Naina ko bhi convince” Anu let herself out

Inder was pacing the living room

Am loving this.

Inder if you are here coz you really love Naina then do something that she can feel it.
Bichare Maa Baap have to go through unnecessary embarrassment.

Good Viveka was asleep.

Better she doesn’t know about Inders kartoot.
naina need go deal with this either way.
