Economic fantasy
He gently pulled her up and she fell on him on impact, they held each other for a few minutes, she was warm and soft, he was cold and firm and smelled like Raanav Parashar musky and woody
“I cant believe I have someone to come back home to now” he chuckled intending it to be in good humor, but it sounded quite emotional
“But you have no food waiting and nobody decked up to receive you” she whispered leaning on him
“Well you are new, we will need to house train you” he laughed
She laughed on his chest
“I just hope he starts getting better. He is usually fit as a fiddle Viveka, in fact he can run 5 miles on a treadmill straight…. And he isn’t exhausted” he hugged her and they rocked
“I am sure he will” she nodded, empathy came naturally to her.
“Do you want to go fix something for us to eat like a dutiful wife?”
“I guess” she smiled
He changed washed up and came back to find her asleep on the couch again
He just carried her to the bed after the stripping the duvet down, she opened her eyes half awake and when she was able to stretch comfortably horizontally and began to settle down again to sleep
They woke after 9 AM within a minute of each other
He rolled to her side and pulled his head up and leaned over
“Sleep good?”
“Hmm… time kya ho gaya?” she asked groggy, she realized she was asking the exact same way Ma would ask Papa on a Sunday
Slow awareness spread through her bones
“Sigh!!” “How can anyone be so gorg first thing in the morning” she thought, gently reaching up to smooth his hair
“I never looked at what all you have on”
“I know… too many symbols” she laughed
He realized she was too respectful to protest but personally did not believe in the “hey look at me I am married” bit
He opened her fist and looked at her mehandi
“Were you hard at work getting all of it?” he muttered thumbing her palm “This looks lovely”
“Well, I had nothing to do with it, we have a new bride on my floor, parents floor she corrected herself, she is quite the bomb in mehendi, we couldn’t find anyone available, December being wedding season, since she was married two weeks ago, she had her entire calendar open” she laughed
“It looks great”
“uske haath ka kamaal hai, haath to sabka ek jaisa hota hai” she smiled
“You are quick to remind me there is nothing special about you” he teased her feet with his toes, under the blanket
“There could have been if I was accepted to PhD at Kharagpur” she smiled
“Ha”
“Not too many that are accepted over there under 30”
“That’s it huh?”
“My hands or my feet or my eyes, or my hair are all just regular” she laughed
He knew that was not true
Those saucer like large brown eyes, the flawless skin, the sharp well defined nose, the silky curls framing her face, her lack of self awareness, was all extremely se—to him
She wore a saree like a badass, and walked with confidence
“You cant grab my toes AND except me to not feel tickled… is not fair” she whispered pulling her feet away as he tangled his legs with hers purposefully
“Will you let me do one or the other?” he whispered, silkily plotting to kiss her
“You mean tickle me?” she asked outraged
“No” he grabbed her chin and kissed her gently
She wrapped her arms around his neck
“I fantasized about you sleeping” she whispered looking into his eyes
“Oh yeah?” he whispered
“Yeah, I imagined you slept in the nude” she whispered as he pressed his track pant clad arousal on her lower body
“Disappointed?” he laughed under his breath as they aroused each other
“I mean no model worth his weight in salt, would wear clothes to bed” she mocked
“Ouch!!”
“Have you modeled in the nude?” she asked curiously
He laughed openly, throwing his head back
“No”
“Bummer” she laughed
He bend down smothering her “Here I thought fantasy economics was strictly involved role playing about taxation, supply/demand and economic treaties” he kissed her neck and ear, as they physically explored each other fully clothed
“No, we dream about naked lawyers” she said as he mounted her
His phone buzzed, he lowered himself and lay on her for a few minutes to kill his body’s reaction and dragged her with him over his chest and grabbed the phone
“Yeah” he answered gruffly
“That’s fine Mom, let Chachu go, I can check with Mamaji and tell Rakshit to do night shift tonight”
It was Smrita she postulated
“Oh yeah I am up”
Viveka heard
“Kya kar rahe ho?”
“BAD Q to a guy who was married less than 23 hours” she thought
“Umm.. just messing with Viveka” he said with a chuckle
“See you for breakfast in 30?” she urged
“Sure” he nodded, squeezing her waist as she attempted to roll off his body
