Things would have been so different if they were married under different circumstances. But then, they wouldn't have been married if things were different. Satyen is a smart guy. He knew the breakup wasn't due to dearth of love between the two. Left to themselves, neither of them may have taken the first step to reconcile, no matter how much their hearts broke. Even if they did, there would have been too many issues to deal with just to get them married. He killed two birds in one stone. Got them married, and got them married without the pomp. Ab bass woh jaldi se thik ho jaaye. Everything else can wait.
Raanav is super stressed because of his Dad's condition. The guy is barely sleeping. He must also be feeling guilty of marrying Viveka in the way he did (happy, but guilty 😃). And now knowing that she is lonely and skipping meals must be only adding to his guilt. It must be a sad thing to realize that his wife doesn't feel comfortable enough to feed herself in their own home. Not to forget, no one even bothered to ask her for dinner. I won't be surprised if Smrita (and her brother's family) is making things hard at the hospital. That's probably why he doesn't want Viveka to be at the hospital. That, and the fact that his Dad will talk non-stop with this newly added member of the family 😆
Viveka is going through what every girl goes through during the first few days of marriage. She is missing her parents and the comfort of her own house. But it is what it is. I loved how Akash said "Aaaja beta, main chhod doonga raat ko". There was a certain desperation and longing to see his favorite child for a little while. They are in the same city, yet the fact that she won't be coming to their home every night must be disheartening.
