"My whole issue is with anu and akash as parents and how parents love their perfect child more than flawed one...after all that's the easy thing to do right..and that's what A&A are doing..and yesterday also anu was like "kya beti paayi hai maine" it was extremely annoying for me..""

This comment .... it' so relatable. Isn't it? Somewhere I felt that annoyance too. No child should ever do this to her parents. Naina is selfish like how Raanav portrayed her to be but somewhere Akash and Anubha ended up picking favorites. But isn't that also human nature that we like all things to be comfortable ...so one does care more for a person who doesn't exhaust you even it happens to be your own child?

No straight answer to this. Sigh!!!!

Raanav is right that Naina is selfish. Much as Viveka doesn't want to hear it, its the truth. She applied for a passport to Dubai and didn't bother to tell anyone? And she talks about the parents not supporting her. How can they support these actions? Where it counted, everyone supported her. When she was heartbroken and crying, they looked out for her. That is support. But did she ever see it? No.

Inder gets the most blame. He dumps her first and then runs off to Dubai with her. He is the one I don't understand. Where does he stand really?

Viveka is right about expecting some understanding from Raanav without the general disgust towards her class. If he wants this relationship, he can not look down on the family. He doesn't have to like everyone, but he has to be fair. I don't blame him one bit for calling Naina selfish, which she is. But at the same time, he has to allow that Naina is not the evil person his family is making her out to be.

Good all this nonsense is happening before their marriage. Like that quote that says do we complain that Roses have thorns and do we rejoice that thorns carry roses???!!!

They do eventually make a good bouquet though!!!❤️

Where Viveka is wrong is being snarky with Raanav. He didn't have anything to do with his cousin's actions. He doesn't deserve the snide remarks. She can ask him to help resolve the issue but can anyone really do that? Inder and Naina are responsible for their actions and they are not being considerate towards anyone.

“Naina left home umm.. due to some instigation or I should say encouragement, right?” she quickly corrected herself.

Looking at Naina’s behaviour until now this does not sit well with her at all. Viveka in right frame of mind wouldn’t have said so.

“If You want to willfully drive a wedge between us using Inder you can do it Viveka”

There Naina is ignoring everyone and doing what she wants and here it dawns upon Viveka and Ranaav at loggerheads.

“I don’t expect my husband to hate her. I don’t expect him to support or encourage her but I don’t expect revulsion Raanav” “naina bewaqoof hai, par evil nahi hai” she said firmly

He just breathed

“Well this whole thing might be for some good I guess” she said calmly

“Vive..”

“Tumhe Naina ko jhelne kizaroorat nahi, na hi meri taraf se detective ka kaam karne ki. I will wait for her to call home”

“Is that IT?” he was pissed

It does feel like Viveka is going to give up on Ranaav.

Nisha, how is this going to workout for them? Will they ever be Happy with each other without any doubt ? Somehow is seems impossible. Ranaav is confident (over confident) things will work out and Viveka is always doubtful about it.

Waiting for the magic wand.

I honestly feel while Viveka is incorrect in questioning Raanav, Naina running away from home has opened a giant can of worms for her family that they haven’t started even processing. 😔

Taking her passport suggests premeditation and that Naina is not just selfish but also a Liar! Till yesterday Naina told her parents she won’t go to the wedding, so why this turnaround w Inder, unless you just wanted to torture them with your “pain.” All this info from Raanav suggests Naina’s actions and her behavior weren’t spontaneous. She kept guilting the Mathurs and to some extent gas lighting all of them.

To find out about ur loved one is turning out this way will cause shock and disbelief in the best of us, especially Viveka who thinks of Naina still as a naive kid who isn’t evil but just volatile.

I would think Viveka will walk back her relationship and may be even cancel the wedding/engagement. Her parents will be in no frame of mind to trust Naina or anyone associated with her.

I really hope Inder is a trust worthy guy and will not ditch Naina in the future. It is so irresponsible of Naina to be eloping like this and globe trotting with a guy she met just few months ago. Has she ever given a serious thought about what if this did not end well, what will happen to her? How will she and her family face the world, society?

And why is Inder eloping with Naina? If he was serious about her, why did he not approach his parents and her parents the rightful way?

Viveka might not agree but Raanav is right when he said Naina is selfish. She is very selfish. She did not think once about her parents before taking this step and she is not a baby, she is almost 28 years old.

All this time, I feel Raanav seems to be working harder, towards making a life with Viveka. She is somehow always on the fence.

I do get why she wants a prenup but saying that she does not want anything from him either in their marriage or if she separate, it is not good. I have never read her saying let us build a life together, let us be each other's strength and let us achieve good stuff together. She is mostly trying to protect her ambitions and wishes, which is good but what about his ambitions, his dreams.

And Raanav too is not very open in communicating with her.

Yes, Smrita is not friendly with her or her family and looks down upon them and so on but all the other Paraashars have been nice to Viveka, be is Satyen or Rakshit or Kalyani. It is good to deal with the negatives but it is also equally important to look and appreciate the positives.

Waiting to read what will happen next. Thank you for the regular updates Nisha.

The readers of this story are awesome ❤️

I was thinking

- about the topic of how Mathurs ignored Naina and she had this resentment bubbling inside her which led to elope. Many of us are married here, have kids, son or daughter doesnt matter. Will any of us be fine if it was our kid doing stuff like Naina did? She is no kid, if she wanted a proper relationship she could have had that. She showed it was all about sex and got angry when people around her did not take it seriously and did not sympathise much when inder broke up with her.

- this is a story based in India. here daughters are 'izzat' and their behavior and how they conduct themselves in public matter alot. even if Mathurs are umc and don't care about it much, they have more to lose if Naina's antics were out in public. Inder could have left for thailand or married someone, smita was clearly like oh its a hook up. dadi who is so much for supporting her now would have been first one to blame anu (which she is doing now as well) and through her it would have spread to whole delhi possibly.

- raanav dont care much about others apart from himself and hope the same from Veev. Forget naina and her bs, he expects veev to don't let naina inder effect them, how can it be? just because he dont care about his mom's feelings veev should not too? also its interesting how when he stands up to his mom hes husband goals and awesome, but we cant expect veev to do the same becuase she is 'better'. darcy saw elizabeth in pain and fixed lydia and wickham, i hope raanav doing something same in bg hearing veev cry on the phone, or else hes looking like an asshole right now.

- why viveka loves raanav? we have read his pov but why she loves him?
