Also about Naina, Nisha did mention that she lives in and out of love. I am not sure if it is her character in general or it is this specific situation that she is reacting crazy

The story is SPOT ON! I can't think of it going forward in any other way than the way it is! 👏

I write what goes through my mind when I read this amazing story.. it turns out to be soooo long, that most days i feel like deleting everything and logging out! I often feel it must be annoying to see the long rant or sermon 🙈

Naina came out to help, to fix dinner, after her shower, she even prettied herself up

Viveka wanted to know badly what caused the breakup but realized it might be too soon

She was hoping to make sure to hang up before she entered the apartment, she didn’t know if Naina was going to be throwing a fit and would hear Raanav on the phone

But none of that was required because her phone would not turn on after falling in the puddle

She came home, turned it on, it would not come back on

She told Papa around dinner that she needed to bring her phone to the Apple store to have it looked it

She didn’t have Raanav’s number she didn’t know how to get a hold of him

She spent a restless night worrying and thinking about him

For a man she was “hoping” to reject that was quite an unusual reaction she realized

The next morning she had an early class and Naina dressed up and headed out to work, tonight they were supposed to bring the grandparents home

They did this annoying thing back and forth when they were in town

Viveka picked up one of the prepaid phones lying around at home and texted the number to her siblings and to Papa and Ma so they knew how to get a hold of her and went away to work

In her time between classes she did some cyber stalking hoping to find Raanav’s direct phone number

No luck!

She wanted to ask Mr Parashar but that would be too awkward she decided against it

She waited till the evening, and ran to the Apple store, they wanted to hang on to her phone and dry everything out etc

She returned home and spent another evening in undisclosed agony, not even caring for Naina’s dinner drama over how she has no freedom and how she hates everyone

The next day Viveka called the corp office and asked for Raanav Parashar forgetting he was in London

She was connected to promptly for some reason

There was a lag of 7 seconds she timed, between asking for him and being connected

Maybe the switch lady, she, told the Parashar kid “it’s a Viveka Mathur”

“Hi!” she was almost struggling to find oxygen

“Viveka?” he growled in a sleep drugged voice

It was not even 6 AM in London!

# Extremecringe!

“You asked for a wake up call” she laughed nervously

“Thank you” he groaned softly

“My phone fell in a puddle two days ago” she said

“I am sorry”

“Well.. you can go back to bed now… I had no idea it was early… SO early…” she laughed and cried at the same time

“Its fine”

“I KNOW how to look up time”

“Hahahah”

“I mean seriously… I feel like such an idiot” she laughed

“Hey you cared to call… tho 3 days late”

“NOT 3? Surely?”

“OK 2”

“Did you count?”

“I did Viveka… I thought you were tired of me proposing” he said quietly

“I am stressing out right now…. I am so… nervous” she sucked her breath in thinking

“I dropped it, when I reached for the bhindi” she mumbled

“Ah”

“And it wouldn’t turn back on”

“Wow”

“Are you laughing at me?”

“Nope” he sighed

“You should go back to sleep”

“HOW?” he asked genuinely, as she turned bright pink

He said the most simple things in the hottest way possible

“Umm.. I usually put an arm on my eyes and it makes my brain think its night… “ she explained

“Not going to work” he muttered deeply

“I think about History or Literature” she began to laugh hysterically

He began to laugh when he got the joke

“What about Law? He snuck a gentle seduction in☺️

“haven’t tried it”

“Do you want to try tonight and let me know?”

“HOW?” she wanted to know how, she didn’t have her phone

“You could text me… here… hang on” he began to text and realized it came from the Corporate switch

“I can give you my Pre paid number” she offered innocently forgetting he was massively flirting

“Great”

She did

Awww 🥰 she called him back 😳

And Nishaaaaaa ... you absolutely can’t stop here

Sleepless nights, cyber stalking, trying to call the father for number agonizing evenings - and Vive, how on earth are you still thinking that you can reject the dude ... lol. You are done deal now lady
