I'm from Mumbai myself and I remember the torrential rains every season bringing life to a standstill. One time in 2005 it was particularly brutal. Family members were stranded and it was hell trying to get them to safety. And again in 2019.

Which is why I've never enjoyed the monsoon. Rains here are bearable, but sometimes we do have thunderstorms. And we did have a flood in 2011. I wasn't here then though.

I hope there's no power cut and essential supplies are still working. Stay safe!

We don't have any problem but in few areas there is no power as the apartments cellars are in water...

Once in 10 years we get this situation but 32 cms is second time in 100 years..
