Tara is not going to look at her daughter for marrying into middle class. That's fine. The goons like chabra sent by Grover are no real danger. The police network that saved shubhra from Ashutosh and his candy can again be put to use to ward off goons. Manik couldn't pluck a thing when his daughter was being threatened by a rival group or even when he was loosing deals left , right and center . He is not going to able to shake or move anything. So that's also fine. He can even be bought if you dangle a carrot by saying he is not going to incur any wedding expense by agreeing to his daughter's choice. Right now he will take anything from going under. Pawan monga can also be packed off as he is not guy who wants complications .

Therefore marrying is fine . One easy peasy decision the couple has to make is live in Chicago or live in Noida ?! Well! That shouldn't be so hard isn't it?!

More than Tapan, a warrior has emerged in Shubhra just a tiny bit. At least she was brave enough to tell her father she didn't like Pawan. Tara is more formidable.

Both Manik and Tara will actually not be unhappy with Tapan as Shubhra's choice, both for their own reasons. I can easily see Tara boasting to her friends about Tapan.

He spent the next hour on the phone, talking to his people in Delhi, he spoke with Gagan when it was barely morning in India

His friends were very well connected in Delhi, Sukesh Batra was related to the DCP, another friend, Kunal Sapra, Akshay Banga they all had highly placed Delhi and NOIDA police officials in their family

they were his 2 AM friends

They actually answered his call when he tried to reach them before 4 AM

He spent an hour holed up in his bedroom talking through the logistics of how Parul and Gagan and Arya can be protected

Vineet Property dealer, commercial broker, all willingly offered to "supply their aadmi"

He took the offer of Vineet, he was the most educated of the lot and Tapan trusted his strongmen and knew they would not resort to violence at every pretext

Arya had to get to school safe and return home safe, and so did Gagan

Vineet also had a friend who had a private armed security company, wealthy tourists relied on them.

Later Tapan decided it was good to keep everything legal so he would have documentation if he had to go to law enforcement later

He knew Shubhra was headed back soon, though not sure when he hadnt asked her, he didnt want her to, but she would he knew

He gave Vineet's friend, Harish Chautala (the private armed security agency guy, who was ex Indian secret service) all the info he needed to get an account started, gave Shubhra's work address.... paid through his phone for the first month

He asked Harish to get him two people for now, discreet, invisible, but yet keeping an eye on his sis's family

Vineet assured him, he would do it in a way Gagan or Parul would never discover they are being guarded

He hung up, and rubbed his eyes wearily

He had no idea who he was dealing with

It was fine to rob Manik Grover or scam Shubhra because they did not know who he was or where he was operating out of

Now thanks to the genius Mr Pawan Monga, his identity and so was the Tiwaris' identity out in the open

He stepped out of the room and found her curled up on the couch taking a nap

She had put away all the food she had not eaten in perfect sized containers, cleaned the kitchen, and the sink

she was meticulous and a perfectionist

He kneeled by the couch

"Hey wheres my lunch?" he whispered on her cheek

She opened her eyes and looked at him daze

"I can heat it up for you"

"Why did you put it all in the frig so early? he nibbled her ear

"You leave it on the counter?"

"usually... until I finish it"

She sat up shocked

"Raat ko bhi nahi rakhte frig mein?" Her eyes indicated "Oh the horror!" expression

He began to laugh softly

"raat taq bachta tha.. tab to"

"Oh"

"Utho, garam karo" he ordered wickedly

"You know where the microwave is...." she went on her back and put her arms behind her head and challenged him

"Microwave kaam nahi kar raha yaar utho, dekho to" he nibbled over her br-----

She immediately brought her arms down and held his head

"tapannnn"

"Do choice hain tumhare paas, ya to khaana khila ya," he began kissing her collar bone

And started going down the V of her tee

"Ufff" she got up

He didnt tell her what was going on, what he was working on, how stressed he was

"Tapan..." she sat up and yawned

"Hmm" he was returning texts from his people in Delhi

"I have to go back in 3 days, maine sirf ek week off liya work se"

"ek shaadi mein chalogi?" he texted when she was heating up the lunch

"Whose?"

"Mine" he said

"You aND ME?" she demanded, just to be sure, shaking, unable to stand still he heard her clatter his plate, it crashed to the floor and shattered

He chuckled and didnt get off the couch!

"?" she asked a moment later

He stared at it and grinned

"Kar lein shaadi?" he asked

She was on the floor picking up the pieces

She crouched, leaned on the island and began to cry

Tapan keeps pulling her leg, and she just can't take it.

Tapan's buddies are a big help. They will keep his family safe, and that includes Shubhra.
