He removed his headset as he watched her come in
"What time is it?" she questioned
" 2 AM"
"Why are you not asleep?" she questioned
"i am watchinga movie tomorrow is my day off" he explained
"Hmm" she nodded walking slowly toward his balcony
"Did I bring my phone?" she asked confused
"If u took an Uber you did"
"I took a cab I was too afraid"
"Ah"
"I didnt bring it then"
"Its charging in the living room by one of the runner tables along the wall"
"Are you still mad at me?" she asked nervously
"I am not" he said
"We just keep fighting"

He got off the bed, and went to the giant open kitchen
She brought her phone, "Everyone is worried"
"I would kill you if u did that under my watch" he said grimly

"Does he know?" he asked as he pulled rice and dal and subzi out of the fridge
"Umm.. no, I dont live with him" she explained
He began heating it all up, he lay the table precisely with a folded napkin inside a tall glass tumbler
"You should wash up and eat"
She went to a bathroom washed up and brushed and returned 20 minutes later
"Why are you being so nice?" she demanded
"Should I have kicked out in the dark in Chicago?"
"i mean I didnt do anything wrong" she was angry as she sat down
"See... theres the fighting spirit"
"I CAME TO SEE YOU FFS... you as-----e" she screamed

"You know what? I dont need the food, I dont need your condescension, I dont need anything from you" she shouted getting up
He tucked his hands in his pajama pockets and just rocked on the balls of his feet and heels

"tapan she is going back tomorrow"

"If I sleep will you wake me at 6?"
"Your alarm doesnt work?" he tapped her phone pouring her fave red wine into her glass
"I thought you have an alarm system, if u teach me how to disable it I can leave by myself"
"Ah... yeah" he nodded
