Episode 139 - The earlier you accept, the better

[Flash back continues]

Gautam continued,

G - And I'm sure aapko bhi patha hai, Missing case ko Murder case banakey close karney waaley aur koi nahi Urmila Rajput hi thi. Because she was the one who tried to kill Siyali.

Sid who was till now holding on to Utkarsh's hand let goes his grip in shock. Even though he had known that Shreya was Siyali, he didn't know that his mother was the one who tried to kill her. He remembered Siyali telling "Mere yeh gussa ki peechey bhi koi wajah hai".

He was taken aback and leaned on the wall for some support while Utkarsh started walking towards Gautam to hear more. The brothers and Yakshit hear Gautam's side of the story about the entire case starting with how he found her on the road and how she had become Shreya.

Utkarsh's eyes were watering as he heard the story of Siyali's struggles while Sid sat down on the floor with elbows on his knee and covering his face with his forearm.

The police looked at Anwesha ma'am and at Gautam as he was sure that most things Gautam did was against the law.

Police - Tumhari kahani bohat acha hai. Par tumhe police ke paas aana chahiye tha. Yeh sab karney ki kya zaroorat thi.
G - I know. But mujhe yahi sahi tareeqa laga Siyali ko bachaney ke liye. I'm ready to bear the consequences. But Urmila Rajput ke guna ke saamney mere yeh, galti bhi nahi hai. (Looks at AMaam) You said you wouldn't defend her if she actually committed the crime. Ab defend kyun kar rahe ho?

Gautam stared at Anwesha ma'am after which Anwesha ma'am moved away gesturing that the police could go in and make the arrest,

U - Nahi. Nahi. Nahi.

Utkarsh tried to stop the police from going in but Anwesha ma'am held on to him.

AMaam (shouts) - Sid!! Help me out.

Sid gets up and tries to hold on to Utkarsh along with Anwesha ma'am. Gautam stood by Yakshit and the two watched Utkarsh as he shouted helplessly as they could hear the nurse trying to stop the Police from arresting Urmila ma'am. And also a confused Urmila ma'am as to what was happening. As she was dragged out by two female police,

UMaam - Mom. What's happening? Yeh ho kya raha hai?

She shouted while Anwesha ma'am looked sorry for Utkarsh and disappointed at Urmila ma'am,

U (crying) - Maa! Maa! Nahi!
UMaam (tensed) - Maine nahi kiya Utkarsh. Trust me. Mom. I didn't do anything. I don't know what's happening.
U (crying) - Sid. Chodo mujhe Sid. Woh Maa ko ley jaa rahe hai.

Sid who was till now hugging Utkarsh such that he wouldn't go, now turns to his mom and she reached out to Utkarsh. He pushes her hand off Utkarsh and stands as a bridge between Utkarsh and Urmila ma'am. Seeing this, Urmila ma'am looked at Sid who stood with anger in his eyes such that his eyes were burning red like the glowing sun,

UMaam (disappointed) - Sid?

Urmila ma'am said with a faint sound as she stopped acting out and looked at him surprised. Seeing how Sid was disappointed and angry with her, she stopped struggling with the police and started to co-operate with them.

CLICK! CLICK! There was a lot of media outside as she walked out of the hospital. The arrest went by with Utkarsh crying out loud while Sid stood still just like the day on which he broke with with Siyali (the last day of Semester 1).

AMaam - Priya, Take them to the hotel. And make sure they don't leave.

Anwesha ma'am followed the police while her other female assistant along with their driver took the boys to the hotel. As they all left, Gautam stood by the corridor to Siyali's room confused. He had always thought that putting Urmila ma'am behind the bars would give him a feeling of victory but all he could feel right now is sorry for the brothers.

Back at the hotel, as they walked by the corridor,

S (on the phone) - Okay. Daadi.

He cuts the call and gives the phone back to Anwesha ma'am's assistant who leaves the boys as they enter into their room,

U (tensed) - Yeh log aisey kaise Maa ko arrest kar saktey hai? Maa Siyali ko...kaise. Kuch bhi? Aur Waise bhi Siyali ko ab tak hosh nahi aaya hai. Kaise yeh bol saktey hai maa ne uske jaan leney ki koshish ki hai?
Y (doubtful) - Arrest Kar rahe hai, toh evidence hoga hi.
U (angry) - Har evidence sahi ho, aisa toh nahi hai na. I know for a fact, Maa bekasoor hai. Maa aisey kar hi nahi sakti hai.
S (murmerred) - You don't know that.

Utkarsh turns to Sid who was sitting on the sofa with a complicated expression,

U - Yeh kya kehrahe ho, Sid?
S (blank) - Tumhe kaise patha hai ki woh bekasoor hai? (Sarcastic) I knew she was capable of doing bad things but i didn't know she was capable of murder.

Utkarsh was shocked to hear Sid speak against his mother,

U (shocked) - Sid, You know Maa better than anyone.Tu aisa kaisa kehsakta hai?

S - I know Mom. That's why. She did hate Siyali more than anyone else.
U (emotional, strong) - Agar tu Maa ko jaanta hai, toh main bhi unhey jaanta hoon. Police Jo bhi kahe, Gautam Jo bhi kahe, Siyali khud Jo bhi kahe, main kabhi nahi maan sakta hoon ki meri maa ney kuch bhi galat kiya. Jitna main Maa ko jaanta hoon, woh bohat hi achi hai. Woh kabhi kisika bura soch bhi nahi sakti hai.
S (shouts) - Tu jaanta hi kya hai, Utkarsh!

Sid got up angrily hitting the side table of the sofa such that the glass shattered,

S (angry, shouts) - You've known her for what? A year? Aur tumhe lagta hai ki tum unhe jaantey ho? You know nothing, Utkarsh. Tum kya lagta hai? Tumhari Maa achi, loving and caring hai? Nahi Utkarsh. Nahi. She's a dominanting and a selfish woman.

Utkarsh's expression changed little by little as Sid was ranting about their mother,

S (shouts, angry) - Mere saath unhon ney kya kuch kiya, tum nahi jaantey ho. She literally made my life a living hell. I survived only because of Daadi. Aur tum bhi jaantey ho ki unki wajasey tumharey saath kya hua? Kyun? Bathaya nahi unhonney? You didn't get lost. She abandoned you. On the middle of road. During a riot for crying out loud. Jo maa apney bachey ko beech sadak pe chod sakti hai, woh doosrey ki bachey ko maar bhi sakti hai.

PUNCH!!! This was it for Utkarsh. He couldn't hear one more word. Sid dashed into the chairs near by and fell while Yakshit watched this in fear and confusion. He didn't know how much he should involve himself in,

U (angry) - Tum apney khud ki maa ke baarey mein aisey kaise kehsaktey ho?

The fight got aggressive as Utkarsh wasn't calm. As they held on to each other's collar

S (angry) - Joot nahi bola mainey! Sach hi hai.

Utkarsh pushed Sid down to the floor and started hitting him while Sid didn't want to hurt his brother. Yakshit, feeling that right or wrong, he had to stop them. He ran to them and pulled Utkarsh away from Sid.

U (angry, shouts) - Chodo mujhe! Chodo mujhe!

Sid gets up coughing and looks at Utkarsh,

S - Aisey chilakey kuch nahi badalney waala hai Utkarsh. Kitna jaldi accept karogey. Utna better hai.

Sid walks out of the hotel room and Yakshit silently followed him. After they left the room, "Aaarggh!!!" Utkarsh screamed to his hearts content. He shouted and screamed until he broke into tears.

[Flash back pauses]

Explanation to Sid's behavior

UMaam was always hard on Sid from his childhood and yet he loved his mom thinking this is how she is and this was how she showed her love for him.
But ever since Utkarsh came into their life, she was too loving and caring to him like she's never been with Sid.
And little by little, Sid started getting jealous and disliking his mom. Still he tried him best to make sure that this doesn't affect his relationship with his mother or brother. But once he got to know that she tried to kill someone and even after knowing this Utkarsh was acting like his mother isn't wrong, Sid's thoughts and feelings exploded. He isn't being disrespectful to his mother. Human tendency, bottled up thought and emotions sometimes seem to explode due to some trigger.

Episode 140 - A Criminal's son

Next day morning, the students at Warrior High (except for the students who had board exams) were packed and ready to go. From there, they were escorted to the railway station along with teachers, thus sending them off in the same way as they arrive.

The gang said bye to Megha and Yakshit as they left. Meanwhile, in an empty mess, Utkarsh arrives to have breakfast and bumps into Sid. Both of them had come after the timing to ensure that they don't bump into each other. They stand by the food trays staring at each other like they were sworn enemies. The chef's assistant, Danny gave a funny look at the both of them and,

Danny - Kisiko khaana chahiye ya phir mein pack up karoon?

The two of the decide to stop the staring and turned to Danny for food.

After sending off the juniors, the gang walks by the corridors when they see Utkarsh and Sid sitting in the mess having breakfast. But the two of them say way apart from each other in two different corners of the mess. The gang entered into the mess and realised this was the perfect place for this conversation as the mess was practically empty. But the question was who was gonna start this conversation and what were they going to say?

They walk towards the table and stand in the middle in such a way that they are visible to both the brothers. The two of them look at their friends,

Vd (hesitant) - We're really sorry. Sid. Utkarsh.

While Sid gives a blant and indifferent expression, Utkarsh doesn't look at them and continues eating like he didn't hear them.

A (empathizing) - We understand that it's hard. But we just want you to know that we're there for you.

Sid looks at them and gives a fake smile while Utkarsh pauses eating for a second and then continues eating,

Vi (doubtful) - You guys okay?
Ni - Okay kaise hongey Vidurshi?
I (sad) - Mujhe toh Utkarsh ke liye bura lag raha hai. Whenever anyone talks bad about Urmila ma'am, he always defended her.
L (sad) - Aur phir bhi criminal nikli.

The gang looked sad and felt sorry for the brothers,

U - Kisney kaha criminal hai? Tum logon ney dekha? (Angry) Then how dare you call her a criminal.
L - Bro, Mere matlab woh nahi tha.
U (angry) - Toh kya tha?
Ni (sympathetic) - Utkarsh! Hum tumharey gussa samaj saktey hai. Humhe patha hai tumhe bura lagraha hai.
U (angry) - Haan. Bohat bura lagraha hai. Iss liye nahi ki meri maa criminal hai. Iss liye kyun ki sab ko lagta hai ki woh criminal hai.

He looks at the gang who looked at Utkarsh and sympathized for them which angered me.

U (angry) - Mujhe tum logon ki sympathy nahi chahiye. Waise bhi tum

sab ko bhi yahi lagta hai na, ki meri maa ney Siyali ko marney ki koshish ki?
Ni (sympathetic) - Utkarsh, aisa baath bilkul nahi hai.

Utkarsh wasn't listening to anything Niti said,

U (sarcastic) - Aur expect bhi kya kar sakta hoon? Jab unki khud ka beta aisa sochta hai, auron ka kya galti?

Sid dropped the spoon on his hand and gave a frustrated look, staring front,

U (sarcastic) - Ruk kyun gaye, Bhai? Tum khana kha'o na. Tumhe toh koi farak nahi padna chahiye. Kyun ki inn sab ki tarah tum bhi toh already Maa ko criminal maaney laga hai.
S (frustrated) - Utkarsh. Please.

Sid tried not to let anything Utkarsh say trigger him into saying something mean or hurting to Utkarsh again,

U (strong, bold) - You know what. Tum sab ko jo bhi maan na hai, maano. Par main kabhi nahi maanonga ki meri maa ek criminal hai ya kabhi bhi thi. Aur main apni Maa ki begunahi saabit karkey rahoonga. Chahey kitney din, mahiney ya phir saalon lagey. Whatever it takes. How much longer it takes.

Utkarsh pushed the plate off the table and walks away angrily when one of the mess incharge entered,

Incharge (shouts) - Yeh ladka aisey kaise jaa sakta hai? Hello. Clean karkey jaa.
S - Main karloonga.

Sid gets up from the table and to the floor drom where he picks up the plate and the glass. Angela stops Charlie who was about to help Sid and gestures the gang to go out. Sid puts the plates and other vessels into the tray while the incharge tells him that she'll clean the floor.

Outside the mess,

C - Humhe kuch karna chahiye kya?
I - Patha nahi. Is it right to interfere in their family problems?
A - It's not. Mujhe lagta hai ki un dhono ko apney problem khud teek karna hai. We shouldn't interfere.

Vd - Angela's right

Vidyut and Vidurshi look at each other and,

Vd - When they problem is between siblings, you need to let them solve it on their own.

Vidurshi nods her head while,

Ni - Haan. Yeh hi teek rahega. Aur Waise bhi, humari involvement situation ko buss aur bigaad sakta hai. Hum un dhono ki saath rehenge, par unki beech ki maamley mein interfere nahi karenge.
K - So, it's decided? We're not doing anything?

All the members of the gang nod their head as they made the decision,

P - And there's nothing we can actually do.

The gang turned to Parth as the truth in his words sunk into their hearts and mind. Anytime, any of them had a problem, few others always came together, planned and accomplished the mission of fixing things.

But this was a situation wherein even the entire gang working together wouldn't fix things between the brothers. They had to do it themselves.

After his argument with his friends, Utkarsh was seen sitting on the floor in the last section of the library leaning on the book shelf. On him was one textbook and around him were some books and notes scattered as if he was using them.

While Utkarsh was deep in thoughts, he felt the presence of another person who just sat next to him,

U - Parth! Tum mera koi help nahi kar saktey ho. So please chaley Ja'o. I want to be alone.

Parth sat down next to Utkarsh also leaning by the book rack and kept notes on Utkarsh's lap. Utkarsh takes it and sees that it was summary notes of English and Hindi literature,

P - Haan. Main tumhara iss situation mein koi help nahi kar sakta hoon. Par mujhe laga at least exams mein help kar sakta hoon.

Utkarsh looks at Parth and nods his head. While Parth sat there calmly waiting for Utkarsh to talk on his own, Utkarsh through the notes without reading any of it content,

U - Sab Mere aur Maa ke baarey mein bura bhala bath kar rahe hai?
P - Nahi. Apney friends ke ilava koi jaanta nahi hai.
U (hopeless) - Kab tak aise raheenga? Jald hi sab ko patha chal jaa'ega. Aur sab Maa ko khooni, khaatil, kya kuch nahi kehenga.
P - Logon ka kaam hai kehna. Don't let it affect you.
U (depressed) - Koshish kar raha hoon. Par jab bhi koi Maa ke baarey mein galat bolta hai, bohat takleef hota hai, Bhai. Mein control kar nahi paa raha hoon. Tumhe khud dekha nah, Subah kaise sab pe chiladiya.

Parth understood that along with a lot of other emotions and thoughts in his head, Utkarsh also felt sorry for shouting at his friends,

P - Agar main tumhara jagah hota, toh main bhi aise hi behave kar raha hoga. Buss difference itna hai ki main chilaney ke badley thod phod karta.

Utkarsh burst into a little smile on his swollen face and looked at Parth who put his hand on Utkarsh's shoulder and,

P - We're your friends Utkarsh. Hum samajtey hai. Jab baath Maa ki ho, emotional hona toh banta hai.

Parth patted Utkarsh as he assured him that he could take "hurting his friends" off his list of problems while Utkarsh continued to ponder over various issues.

Episode 141 - You be the judge of that

The day wasn't over and Warrior High had more visitors that night - Gautam and Shreya who had now got her identity back and hence forth, known to all as Siyali.

Gautam accompanied Siyali to the medical room where he helped her settle in as she wasn't fully healed,

G (funny) - Sometimes I just don't understand you. Tumhe iss halat mein bhi exams ki padi hai.

As he made the bed, Gautam stared at Siyali as was seen sitting on the chair near by holding a book in her right hand
as her left shoulder was injured.

Si - Twelth ki exams hai. Easily nahi ley sakti hoon.

As Gautam helps her get up and makes her sit on the bed,

G (sarcastic) - Ya right. Apney upar jaan leywa hamla hi kyun na ho, apney liye sab se zyada important toh exams hai. Hai na?

Siyali nods her head which makes Gautam give a funnier stare due to which she laughs.

Ni (screams longingly) - Siyali...

Niti comes running into the medical room and stops by the door with a funny expression. Krissan who comes in next,

K - Like really!??
C (funny) - Why the hell are you studying?

The gang gave a funny shocked expression as they didn't expect to Siyali with books in her hand,

P - Tum re-exam ley rahe ho?
Si - Haan.
L - Itna sab kuch honey ke baad?
Si - Haan.
Ni - Gautam sir, aap issey kuch kehtey kyun nahi?
G (sarcastic) - What can I say? Main kuch kahoon toh kehti hai "Jab log poochengey ki mere marksheet mein ek column kaali kyun hai toh main sab ko yeh toh nahi batha sakta hoon ki mere upar jaanlewya hamla hua hai aur main iss liye Final exams deynahi paayi"
Si - Gee!!

As Siyali looked embarrassed as Gautam told her reason for wanting to write the exams, Vidyut started clapping,

Vd - Kya commitment hai!

All the others noded their head and started clapping for Siyali trying to pull her leg.

Si - Aatey hi shuru hogaye tum log?

As her friends teased her to brighten up the mood, Gautam smiled and,

G - Okay. You guys talk. I'll be outside.

As he walked past her bed, he could hear the gang enquiring about her health with lots of concern. As he walked outside the room with a smile, he saw Sid standing by the door hestitating to walk in,

G - Sid? Siyali sey milney nahi jaa rahe ho?
S (lost) - Huh? Haan!
G - Then go.

Sid, looking a little lost, nods his head and walks into the room due to Gautam's insistence.

As he entered the room, Sid looked at Siyali who was surrounded by the girls sitting beside her on the bed and the boys standing around her. She was laughing and smiling as she answered to their questions trying to assure them that she was okay. As she spoke to them, her sight fell on Sid who was also looking at her. He walked to her and stood next to her in the right side of her bed. As the two of them gave a faint smile to each other, the gang continued to talk unaware of the unspoken words that were being communicated between the two.

In the corridor, Gautam sat on the parapet outside the medical room and was busy on his phone,

G (trying to convince) - Sir, you just keep the list of cases ready. Main iss haftey ke andhar andhar saarey paper work, civil consultation, sab kuch katham kar loonga.

He looked at the medical room entrance to see Vidurshi standing by looking at him,

G - Sir, I'm serious. I'll make a new record of the fastest turnover cycle. Yes boss. I'll do it.

He smiles as Vidurshi laughed at him trying to convince his boss,

G - Angel?
Vi - You can drop the act.
G - Calling you Angel?

Gautam looked surprised by her comment and,

G - What can I say? You are the most purest person I've ever met, so you always be an angel.

Vidurshi laughs in disbelief to which Gautam responds with a laugh,

Vi - Congratulations on completing your mission, I guess.
G - Mission? Thanks.

The happiness on his face slowly changed into remorse. Withan emotional and guilty look in his eyes,

G (emotional) - I really am sorry. For what I did. I know it was wrong of me, par mere intentions galat nahi tey. I didn't think it could have such a big impact on you. So I hope you can judge me by my intention and not my action.

Vidurshi rolls her eyes and,

Vi (cutely acting like a lawyer) - Your honour, Shouldn't the case be judged based on how it has affected the victim and not with the intentions of the victimizer?
G - Wow! Intense.
Vi (laughing) - Well. Apsey hi toh seeka hai.

She sits in the parapet, few inches away from Gautam,

Vi (understanding) - Well. I don't understand why you had to do what you did. So, main aapko kabhi maaf nahi kar sakti.
G (regretting) - Works for me. As long as you're okay.
Vi - Okay?

Vidurshi thought for a minute after which,

Vi - Aapko patha hai? What was the first thing that came to my mind when I found out about the bug?

She looks at Gautam,

Vi - Thank god.
G (surprised) - What?

Vidurshi smiled and,

Vi (joking) - Haan. And Saai was like "Tumhe thank God nahi. Oh my God kehney chahiye"
G - Well he is right.
Vi - I know. But I thought it was a hidden camera or something. Baad mein patha chala ki buss voice recording karta hai. So I was kind of relieved.
G - Main itna bhi bura nahi hoon ki hidden camera install karoon. I'm not a pervert.
Vi - How would I know?

A shocked Gautam looked at Vidurshi with wide open mouth.

Meanwhile, in the medical room, the gang was catching up with what happened so far and how it was to live as Shreya,

C (funny) - Wah yaar. Shreya ki family toh sach mein Kabhi kushi kabhi gham waali family lag rahi hai. Kyun Sid?
P - 3 semester hogaye hai. Par phir bhi tum dhono yeh movie ka reference deyna bandh nahi karengey kya?

As Parth pointed out, Charlie, Sid, Siyali and Niti remembered night call when Charlie and Sid teased them for being the "filmy family" by singing the KKKG background music. As they laughed, Siyali wondered how she could've missed this for so long and just noticed,

Si - Utkarsh kahan hai?

Her eyes searched for her best friend but in vain. She looked at the gang who were trying to avoid meeting her eye while some of them looked at Sid,

Si (worried) - Utkarsh teek toh hai, na?
S (sounding lost) - I'll go get him.

Sid turned to leave but felt Siyali's hand holding on to his. He looked down at his hand and then at Siyali. Seeing the two of them looking at each other, the gang gestured to themselves that they should leave the two of them alone to talk and slowly started moving away from the room.

Episode 142 - Killing with kindness

In the corridor, Gautam was seen holding both his hands together and keeping them by his head. Gautam felt ashamed of how his actions led to the change in Vidurshi's thoughts about him. Seeing Gautam regretting his actions, Vidurshi felt bad for him and,

Vi - Ahem. You don't have to worry, Gautam. I don't think I'll ever be over it. I mean, I do get paranoid at times. Changing room mein. Dorm mein. Even corridors mein. The cameras freak me out. But I like to think that I'll be okay.

Gautam whose head was till not hanging down in guilt turned to Vidurshi and,

Vi - No. I'll be alright.

Vidurshi smiled while Gautam looked at her with admiration on how she was able to smile to a person who had done her harm. Was this what "Killing with kindness" meant?

L - Tum dhono kya baath kar rahe ho?

As Lucky asked, Vidurshi and Gautam noticed that the gang had come out. Vidurshi's eyes involuntarily went to Rohan who didn't seem very pleased with her meeting with Gautam.

Vi - (stammering) Ahem. Main... Buss. (Getting an idea) I was just asking Gautam how he's feeling now that Siyali's case is almost close.

The gang walked to the parapet the two of them were sitting and standing around them in a semi circle,

T - Ya. Right. Remember, I told you guys? We need someone like him to close Siyali's case.

Trishna was reminded about the time when they met Gautam in the airport and making a statement while Rohan continued to give a displeased look,

I - Ya right. So Gautam, this is victory for you, right?
G (unsure) - Not exactly. I thought this would feel great. But I really feel sorry for Sid and Utkarsh.

Gautam wasn't sure how he was supposed to feel with this unwanted attention towards him,

C - That's a given. Hum sab ko bhi bohat bura lagraha hai.
Vi - But still. Aapko it's like promotion right

? Your boss will be happy. He gets the fame and

G - Ah... That was a lie.
Vi - Huh?

Vidurshi opened her mouth in shock. More lies? Did he get cheated. Again? After she just talking to him to stop him from feeling guilty.

G - Yeh case sey humara firm ka koi leyna deyna nahi hai. We're defense attorney. Not prosecutors.
Vi - Then what about you?
G - Mera bhi koi leyna deyna nahi hai.
A (dreamy, impressed) - So you did all this for no personal gain.
G (doubtful) - Ahm. I guess... You can say that.
K - Like really? That's so sweet!

Rohan had had it enough. If he heard one more person complimenting Gautam, he would explode,

Ni (impressed) - Apney Siyali ko bachaya. Usko wapas Warriors high mein laaya. Aur sabsey zyaada, aapney woh chudail ko jail mein dhala? Aap toh mere hero ho sir.

Hearing Rohan murmur from behind,

T - What did you just say, Rohan?
Ro (annoyed) - I said, "Gautam doesn't deserve any credit for that".

Gautam looked at Rohan with a confused look. PoV "He didn't have to put it like that". But Rohan was not done yet,

Ro - If not for her second attempt to murder, Urmila ma'am would've totally gotten away with her first so called "Murder". Isney toh buss investigation kiya hai. Investigation toh koi bhi kar sakta hai. And even while investigating all he did was (murmers) secretly listen to our conversations.
Vi (shocked) - Roohaaan!!
G (surprised) - I think I'm gonna leave now.

Gautam rolled his eyes sheepishly and left before Rohan blurted out any more information. He jumped to the other side of the corridor (being the ground) and left with a confused and surprised expression.

T - What just happened?

The gang looked at shocked Vidurshi who was looking at Rohan,

Ro (annoyed) - Tum batha'ogi ya main batha'on?

While Vidurshi shook her head gesturing Rohan not to tell, Vidyut was curious,

Vd (tensed) - Rohan? Kya baath hai?
Ro - Remember the whole crying, climbing on the tree, people are using me incident.
A - Ya? She said that she was being stalked by someone. Right, Vi?
Ro (sarcastic) - Introducing, the stalker.

Rohan with a sarcastic expression on his face, dramatically pointed in the direction which Gautam left or to be precise, escaped.

All - What?

Meanwhile, it was almost dinner time, Kamini Ma'am and Rishab sir were walking by the corridor to the mess, blushing and giggling about something when they see Utkarsh was at the mess alone, having dinner while the gang was still with Siyali. The two of them look at each other and walked to Utkarsh,

KMaam - Utkarsh, aap yahan kya kar rahe ho?

Utkarsh looked around wondering what Kamini ma'am meant, as it was dinner and the rest of the students (10th and 12th - Since school was open only for the two class students, the 10th grade students had all activities in the highschool except for when they had to go to their dorm) were in the mess.

U - Dinner time hai. Mujhe yahin toh hona chahiue, ma'am.
KMaam (surprised) - Aap shayad jaantey nahi, par aaki dost Siyali aayi hai.
U - Haan. Jaanta hoon.
RSir - Toh tum uske milney nahi gaye ho?
U - Nahi sir.

Kamini ma'am looked at Rishab sir confused as to how Utkarsh didn't care while,

RSir - Okay. Continue with your dinner.

Rishab sir patted her shoulder and gestured that they should leave after which the couple leave Utkarsh who sat alone on the table the gang always sat.

As he ate, Utkarsh remembered what happened few minutes later,

[Flash back]
From the corridor, Utkarsh watched Gautam help Siyali get down the car and takes her things as she just held on to the one book she was studying.

As they walked towards the medical room, Utkarsh followed them from a safe distance,

G - I still don't think this is a good idea.
Si - Gee, stop telling that.

As Siyali stopped and looked at Gautam, Utkarsh hid by the space near the door,

Si (emotional) - You were the one who told me. When things are sorted out, I can go back to being Siyali. Apney safety ke liye, zinda rehney ke liye, Sab be secrets rakey, chup ke se jeeney se tang aagayi hoon, Gee. All I want to do now... Is be a little care free.
G (surprised) - Carefree and you?
Si - Haan.

Siyali says with a smile and looked a little excited,

G - Right. You've lived all your life taking responsibility for yourself and others. I guess thodi masti aur khul ke jeena toh banta hai.
Si (teasing) - Hay. You make it sound like it was such a horrible thing. "Yourself and others" (Siyali style lecture) Apni aur apnon ki khayal main nahi rakoongi toh aur kaun rakega? Aur main yeh nahi kehrahi hoon ki main la parwa aur bigadeel banjaa'ongi. Main buss yeh kehrahi hoon ki main thoda aur hasna aur enjoy karna sikhoongi. After all, 2 baar jaan jaatey jaatey bacha hai. I owe it to myself to enjoy life.
G (sarcastic) - Says the girl who voluntarily came to write exams.

Laughing about it, The two of them continue to walk to the medical room while Utkarsh stood hidden and with a lot of complicated thoughts in his mind. As he was trying to make up his mind, he heard the voices of his friends who were nearing the corridor. So he moved away from there so he doesnt cross paths with his friends.
[Flash back ends]

Utkarsh continued to think as he sat alone during dinner. His mother was in jail because of Siyali, his best friend who had also suffered a lot, and according to everyone, due to his mother. He sure didn't believe that his mother would do something so terrible. But he knew that Siyali also went through a lot of difficulties. He couldn't hate Siyali. But he couldn't meet her either. He continued to think over and over again on what his next move was to be.
