Chapter 3

"The ward boy, Mrs. Malik, Mr. Malik and ... am I hallucinating? Am I dreaming? Is it a ghost? a startled Raghab was dumbfounded and all these things crossing his mind, when he sees them all running towards him as if running in a slow motion!

"meri beti kaisi hai? Woh OT mein kiun hai Raghab? Padmini asks, teary eyed terrified expressions. Raghab couldn't speak. Kunal who was kind of confused, opened his mouth to speak, but before he could utter a word, the OT door opens and war boys come out with the injured woman lying in the stretcher with a few mandatory medical supports, now fully dressed in hospital dress code, senseless.

"Neni!! both Shamsher ji , Padmini ji and the figure in White Pant and sky blue shirt says at a time and goes towards the stretcher

"How is my daughter? asks Shamsher ji in a shaken voice while Padmini ji reaches to caress her,but the nurse stops her and the Doctor intervenes

"Please calm down! She is ok now! We are just shifting her to ICU just for the mandatory safety procedure after surgery. She is fine! the Doctor ensures them

"Please calm down maa! The figure in white pant and sky blue shirt speaks tells Padmini ji

"Ninu!! Teri bahen! says Padmini ji , emotion bursting out in her voice

"Shant ho jaaiye Padmini ji! Doctor ne kaha na Neni ab thik hai Shamsher ji tries to calm her down.

"Thank you Doctor!! says the figure in white pant and sky blue shirt speaks

"thank the three men who brought her here at the right time the Doctor replies jesturing towards Raghab and Kunal as all three of Malik looks at Raghab and Kunal, because Rishabh has not yet reached after donating blood.

"She spoke, the doctor replied, the woman we rescued is now in ICU and Auntyji called her NENI and this girl here standing, Auntyji called her NINU... ... Naina! Naina is not injured! She is fine, she is just fine Raghab adds up everything and slowly an expression of relief spreads on his face slowly! He feels like going and hugging Naina at that very moment, instead Shamsher ji comes and hugs Raghab tightly! Shamsher ji is about 6'3, Raghab knew that, but now he felt how huge he is!

"Thank you Raghab he says leaving him, with an emotional smile and grateful expression. And Padmini ji also gives a polite smile.

"Hugging his daughter out of nowhere will not be a good idea Raghab thinks while saying,

"Every citizen's duty with a polite expression.

"Maliks, can you please come with me? the doctor requests and adds for the inspector "and if the family wants I will give a detailed report for police report Inspector

"That will be better. You can contact me Mr. Malik! and the Inspector leaves

"You can also leave if you want the Doctor addresses Raghab and Kunal

"I will stay says Raghab

"But beta you must be tired! says Padmini ji

"No aunty I am fine says Raghab. Then looking at Kunal and seeing the assuring smile he adds "and my brothers too, will stay

The Maliks leave with the Doctor. While leaving, Naina Malik looks back to Raghab, teary eyed, grateful smile! Raghab now realizes the difference between Naina and the lady whom they brought here "Neni- Naina has straight black hair, while "Neni has curly brownish hair.

"Guys! how is she? Rishabh joins the other two men

"She is okey now Bhaiya! Her family has arrived and now talking to the Doctor and she has been moved to the ICU for mandatory safety procedure Kunal guves detail.

"tu itni der kaha tha? Raghab asks

"I was not feeling ok! I want to know kiya hua tha actually!kuchh bataya Doctor ne? Rishabh questions.

"abhi family ko bol rahe hai, we can ask later. Says Raghab

"hmm! says Rishabh, while being unlike himself.

Rishabh is immature, careless, free soul and very helpful, but in such situations, he becomes unusually calm! But this time he is also a bit inattentive, Raghab notices!

"BTW, she is not Naina, she is Neni! Naina's sister, about whom I had no idea, until about a 15 minuts ago Raghab tells Rishabh to divert his mind.

"what?!? asks Rishabh confused.

Raghab and Kunal tells Rishabh about whatever happened, when he was absent, while heading for the waiting room.

Rishabh in his mind,thanks god that at least,Naina is NOT the married Mrs. Thakur he saw at Bhatiya's party! but this lady?!? Again the same horrible image crosses his mind...

raghav is damn cute yr his way of understating and expressing things are really adorable and I love the care he have for naina..so finally one truth is out let's see how much more yet to reveal..

Chapter 4

"I can't thank you enough Raghab" Naina says in her mind while looking back at Raghab and smiling at him. "Saving Neni and maybe, breaking the ice for maa, papa and Neni" Naina enters Doctor's chamber as she closes her eyes and thanks Raghab and company another time in her mind.

The doctor sits on her chair, while Shamsherji and Padminiji take the seats on the opposite side of the table, facing the doctor. Naina takes the seat on the side.

"meri beti ko kiya hua hai?" Padmini ji asks

"I am telling you everything, but first tell me, was your daughter, Naina..."

"Nandini!" Naina cuts the doctor

"Nandini..." the Doctor corrects herself "is she married?

"Yes she is married" replies Shamsher ji

"Then her husband needs to be informed too!"

"We will do that as early as possible, but please tell us k hua kiya hai Neni ko!" Naina tells the Doctor, before Shamsher ji says something, his face was stern.

"See, Nandini was two months pregnant and the fetus couldn't be saved! And I am extrtemely sorry for that." "But there are more, please control yourself" the Doctor adds seeing more tears in Padmini ji's eyes.

"Please Padmini ji! Please continue Doctor" Shamsher ji speaks, trying to control his pain and the lump in his throat. Naina, on the other hand, prepares herself for the worst.

"Internal injury says and something strong and heavy struck her abdomen, maybe she was kicked. There are small injuries on her skins that say someone tried to force her and..." the Doctor stops! With her each word, the eyes of Maliks widened with extreme shock and pain!

"Please go on!" says Shamsher ji through gritted teeth, pain and rage together in his voice.

"See, you must know all these! But please try to control for now! You daughter is fine now! She fought so well. But your daughter needs your support first! Agar aap log hi aise emotions mein bahe jayenge to usko housla kaise denge!! Samjhiye!!" doctor looks at Naina now "Ms. Malik! Samjhaiye please!!

"Papa, Maa!! Please!! We need to stay strong for our Neni!!" Naina tries to control her own emotions

"Please go on doctor!" she adds rather trying to control herself too

"There are smaller older injuries in her body... around private parts! She might have been subjected to physical abuse even before tonight!" the doctor herself seems distressed by Nandini's situation.

"Anything more?!" Naina's voice is now a whisper! Padmini ji sobbing, while Shamsher ji's eyes are closed, unable to make any sound!

"No! This is it!"

"Thank you again for saving her life Doctor" says Naina in the same whisper like speech "hum use ghar kab le jaa sakte hai?

"ICU mein we are keeping her for 12 hours and then, depends on how fast, she recovers!"

"Ok" says Naina!

"She has a strong will!! To live!!She will be just fine! Abhi you should go home and rest, so that from tomorrow onwards, you can give her your full support!! Waise bhi abhi ICU mein aap me se koi bhi unke saath nehi rahe sakte hai..."

"main rahungi!! ICU k bahar hi Rahungi" says Padmini ji

" No maa! You are already looking so weak. You go!! Papa please, go home with maa!"

"nehi beta you go with your maa! I will stay. Kal subah hote hi chale aana!"

"mujhe apni beti ke paas raheni hai!"

"nehi Padmini ji, aap jaiye! Chinta mat kijiye! Doctor confirmed that she is fine! Come tomorrow morning as early as you want!Doctor please, I want to stay" Shamsher ji says to the Doctor

"ok I will try something" the Doctor replies.

After both Naina and Padmini ji agrees to go home and the Doctor makes permission for two people to stay inside the hospital all the times for Nandini, the Maliks go towards the ICU. Outside, the two men were sitting and the 3^rd man was talking to the nurse. Naina notices Raghab looking at her only. He looks tired! Jet lag possibly! As they reach closer, the 3^rd man, whom Maliks are seeing for the first time, ends his convo with the nurse and leaves a breath of relief.

Raghab and Kunal stands up, where Rishabh comes towards them as Maliks reach them.

"I am staying here tonight! Ninu and Padmini ji are going home. You boys should go home too! I will take care tonight"

"I will stay with you Uncleji!" Raghab replies

"You have come a long way beta! Rest tonight! You must actually! It's basic need" says Shamsher ji

"Uncle ji is right Raghab! You need some rest. You go home with Kunal! I will stay here with uncleji! Mera naam Rishabh hai, aur main Raghab ka dost hu"

"But beta..."

"Please uncle ji..."

After a small argument, finally Raghab and Kunal decides to leave with Padmini ji , while Rishabh stays with Shamsher ji.

"Naina, Padmini ji, aap log car se aaye the ya cab se?" Raghab asks when they get out of the hospital building

"We took a cab"

"Ok then, I will get the car" and Kunal goes to get the car.

Naina looks at Raghab. She is unable to find any word. Seems like Raghab is unable to say anything either. There is a very awkward silence. Kunal comes with his car and they. Kunal takes the driver's seat, Raghab sit on the front seat with him, while Padmini ji and Naina take the bsackseats.

"Naina ji aap ka ghar?" asks Kunal

"You don't have to add ji! You can add DI if you want, you look younger than me!" Naina smiles at Kunal and then tells him the location.

"That's our home location too and, I will address you DI then" Kunal smiles back

Raghab smiles a bit too. But he still seems distressed. Naina can see that. Padmini ji still crying, looking pale. Naina wipes her tears and calms her again.

"Untyji please don't cry. Ab sab thik ho jaayega! Abhi aap bimar par jayengi agar issi tarha se roti rahi toh. Aap thori der k liye aankhen bandh kar lijiye, jab tak aap ka ghar nehi aa jata!" says Raghab

Padmini ji nods and closes her eyes and Naina puts her hand on her mother's forehead to pat and Padmini ji sleeps off in just a few moments... tiredness, Naina's touch and the smooth drive ... as her mother sleeps off, Naina sees that Raghab also closed his eyes.

He is so tired and still wanted to stay in the hospital with Papa.I just rejected him giving him no proper reason for that, and still he is here, helping my family.you are a good man Raghab, but I can't marry you... sorry Raghab...

Naina's eyes start burning with hot tears and at the same time Raghab opens his eyes! His eyes catch her watery eyes in the rearview mirror... Naina looks away, Raghab's heart burns...

you have to answer me Naina...

Emotional update..No doubt nandini went through hell in her life and I hope finally they take strong action about it as soon as possible.Raghab is a janu even in the show and in this ff too love his caring nature..yes he need reply why naina just rejected him without any proper reason..update next part soon waiting for a clear cut discussion between the two
