I liked Arman and Ridhima's conversation. Sweet and meaningful. Talking about his music career. Like Ridhima it makes me think would Arman had been so successful if they were together. Whether he would even decide to make music or would he be satisfied with an ordinary life in sanjeevani with Ridhima by his side.

Weird we still talk about a show and its characters in so details that ended more than a decade ago.

Yes! It was very weird for me that she just forgave Sid for everything. And even weirder that Shashank insisted they get married despite knowing all this. But I guess... Losing Armaan and Shashank pressuring her just broke Riddhima. I mean... She attempted su*cide. That in itself shows how far gone she was.

And what Sid did in the beginning of their marriage was definitely abusive. He crossed many lines and no one called him out on anything he did. Makes me so mad!!

Well, if AR would've been together, I don't think Armaan would have given his music career a chance. His music was always tied to his Bua Maa and Jaanhavi. He admitted that he started taking an interest in it only after Jaanhavi came back into his life. If she wouldn't have been there, he would have never started it again, and then he would have never become a singer. So, yeah. If they would've been together, Armaan would not be Reve. At least, I don't think so.

It is weird that we all still love the show so much and talk about it with so much passion. But I love it!! ❤

Well I watched White collar, Lucifer, Suits, some remaining episodes of Castle, The crown, The witcher, first season of Money Hiest, Brooklyn nine nine( thanks for recommending its amazing). Started a Turkish series.

Among books I read The girl with dragon tattoo, The Great Gatsby( Had watched its movie previously but hadn't read the book), Rumi's secret, our song, and started the Divergent series.

Yeah her head was definitely all messed up the love of her life abandoned her again, her reputation was shattered. Poor thing. Funny the first thing that came in Shashanks head was to get her married not to have her moved out of the city or country, so she sort our her messed up life. Typical desi parent mentality that Shadi is solution of everything.

I am more mad because it was supposed to be a youth show. And they showed this abuse. And later even tried to show their romance. Our desi dramas are so crappy. All they show is woman taking abuse in the name of patience and commitment and in the end asshole husband falls for the nice silent wife. ( Or maybe it's my pathetic experience of majority Pakistani dramas. I don't really watch Indian dramas so I dont really know how they are now. So I hope I didnt offend anyone).

Typical Arman when it comes to Ridhima all he wants is her being in his life. But still seeing him being so successful and doing so many things wouldn't he would have felt some thing missing by living an ordinary life in senjeevani. I have too much free time and cant help but keep thinking such silly things.

Same goes for Suits! I love it! Mike & Harvey and their friendship/relationship/siblingship is GOALS AF!

And Castle toh I have a special place in my heart because it was my first ever English TV show! I love it!!

BUT YASSSS B99! I'm so glad you enjoyed that! If you loved it, you should try out The Good Place, One Day At A Time (the new one, not the old), and Superstore. They're all amazing!!

And Lucifer & Witcher are on my watch list, so let's hope I'll watch soon!

I also started the Divergent books but I got bored so then left them midway. But haven't read the others!

Yes! I always felt that the better option would have been to send Riddhima back to Boston (I think that's where she was before coming back), or even to Chicago where Anjali could have helped her. Getting her married was the last thing he should have done. She was so traumatized with everything that had happened and her life had turned upside down. In that situation what she needed was time and space to deal with everything and not a forced marriage.

That's true. I'm not opposed to them showing abuse cause it's a youth show because those relationships also might take such an ugly turn. I mean, there is abuse in teenage relationships also. It's a fact. So, that's not what I'm mad about. The issue is that they totally romanticized it. Nobody called Sid out on his bullshit and Riddhima just forgave him for everything he did even though he never even properly apologized for it. And then, like... I don't even understand how Sid fell in love with her. It was like one day he was making her life hell and then the next day he woke up and realized he was in love with her. DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE TO ME!

Riddhima was never this meek person who stood down when things went wrong. She fought. Yes, she would get scared and she would need motivation at times, but she always stood up for what is wrong and she never let anyone mistreat her. But her confidence shattered after everything happened and no one really took the effort to help her find herself after all of it. Which is why she became that typical FL who let her husband walk all over her without saying anything.

And yes... Armaan was happy living that life with Riddhima. See, even now that he's such a famous persona all around the globe, he hides behind a stage name, and no one really knows who he is. Because he doesn't want that attention. But yes, he would have always felt something was missing in that life, because he didn't have his music, and of course, he missed Jaanhavi. However, it's a similar situation now because he has his music and Jaanhavi, but he does miss Sanjeevani and the gang, and he even misses Riddhima. So, it's like he doesn't have everything now either. But, there's at least a possibility of him having it all, as opposed to back then because if Armaan had never left Riddhima... I don't think he'd have music. He might've met Jaanhavi again because she is marrying Rohan, who is Riddhima's friend. And then... music... It might have become a part of his life again, but we can't be sure. It's a very murgi pehle aaya ya anda type of situation here :p

^ Agreed only if Shashank cared more about his daughter than his reputation he would have send her to Anjalli. And after her leaving people would have found some next topic to gossip about. You are right all she needed was time, space and maybe even a therapist. Pity how they reduced her from a strong woman to a miserable person. She was a traditionally dressed girl but she knew how to maintain her self respect and dignity.

Yeah hated how they tried to romanticize them. You don't go insulting someone to falling in love with them in a couple of days. Sid was a nice person but his behavior with Ridhima was pathetic to say the least. And I am not saying this because I am AR fan and biased. It's just that showing Sid and Ridhima's romance was too disturbing. I even find Arman forcefully grabbing Ridhima to make her listen to him problematic. You just dont misbehave with people you claim to love and grab them against their will, period.

Interesting thoughts about Arman and his music I hope my question was not too annoying.
