Dekho, Ridz is super stupid, but she loves Armaan a LOT.
She took a bullet for him, she fought with her dad for him multiple times. She freaking tried to commit suicide so she wouldn't have to marry someone who wasn't him (this comes under the purview of mental illness, but she did do it for Armaan). Woh, kehte haina, tumhaare pyaar mein jaan de sakti hu? She actually did it.

Ab bolo, you think she still doesn't deserve A?

I want Ridddima to grow out of her cycle of loving Armaan, then blaming him for everything, the trying to run awau fom him and then coming back to him. Basically grow a spine not for anybody else but for herself. She has been allowing people to walk all over her for far too long.

Well, yes. That is the plan. To redeem Ridz. She's made a lot of mistakes and now is her time to make up for them, so let's hope I'm able to do it justice. Bc I really want to see a Ridz who isn't shy of shouting on the rooftops that she's in love with Armaan.

Like, you know how in S2 towards the end, we had that dialogue, "Riddhima ko lagta hai Armaan sirf uska hai?"

Yeah, she was open and honest in that one scene, wayyy more than she had been in the entirety of S2. I want the Ridz we got in that scene. She told Armaan, the one person who mattered most and who deserved to know the truth, that she loved him, but she was bound by society to choose her responsibility.

That one scene was when I connected with her and actually, totally, completely sympathized with her. That scene made me root for her again, until she pulled a 180 after and told Armaan to stop following her that is.

I also wish Armaan hadn't been such a doormat when it came to Ridz. Woh jo bhi bolti thi, Armaan poora sunnke leta tha. He never once back answered, even when she got really nasty. He should have stood up for himself more.

In fact, when Sid said stuff, tab bhi he didn't do much. After that initial reaction on finding out that Ridz was married to Sid and that hugeass fight and shiz, he kinda shut down.
