Chapter 13

Next morning, khushi got up with a smile on her face, she was feeling content after so long.

She didn't wanted this trip to end, this trip was full of surprises for her.

First arnav finding comfort in her, his kiss on her cheeks, then arnav being all possessive for her and finally their last night sweet encounter.

Most of all she still remember what he said last before going to sleep, I am not at all sorry for the kiss.

She smiled like a fool, feeling most happiest at the moment.

But now, the awkward moment was yet to come, how will she face him after what happened.

Everything is gonna change between them, will he be comfortable with her or he will again try to avoid her, she was lost in her thoughts when she heard a knock on her door.

Khushi... arnav called, are you awake, please open the door.

Yes arnavji coming, she opened the door getting all nervous.

The sight in front of him was so mesmerizing, she had just got up from sleep, her hair all messed up dressed in her pink night suit and still looking cute as ever.

Khushi waved him to break his trance, arnavji...

Huh... aap kuch keh rahe the...

Ohhh... ya I was about to tell you that we have to leave in the evening to delhi.

Evening, but why arnavji our work is over and as per my knowledge there is nothing left for us to stay.

Arnav smiled at her confused state, woh actually khushi don't you want to have a look of this beautiful town.

Khushi was shocked at his question, ji...?

Ya I mean we have come to nainital all the way from delhi and it wont be fair if we just leave without doing some sight seeing.

Never know when we will get this chance again, so get ready we will have breakfast and leave.

Saying that he left so that she can get ready. Khushi was not able to understand his changed behaviour, he wants to... Arnav singh Raizada wants to take me out for sight seeing, she rubbed her eyes am I dreaming?

She smiled and left for bath getting all excited for what is to come.

Arnav was feeling relaxed and happy after a long time, he was himself confused at his behaviour, what is happening to him, first he got jealous for her, then he kissed her like mad and later on admitted that he didn't regret and to top it all now he has asked to her for an outing.

Arnav singh Raizada has surely gonna mad he thought, the feelings which he had buried for years in his heart, the emotional side of him which he never allowed to come out in front of anyone, was now flowing like a river in front of this girl, what is so special about her, that he always feels happy and content when she is around.

Whatever it was, it gave him peace and happiness, and he just wanted to live in the moment without worrying about future, he knew he liked her, he was attracted to her, being close to her always made him crazy, but he was still confused to name this emotion, little did he knew that he has started loving her.

Arnav and khushi had their breakfast all the while gazing at each other.

They left their hotel room and started their journey of outing in nainital.

First they went to local market, where khushi was buying things for everyone back home.

Arnav was observing her getting all excited and discussing with him about the things she has bought for di, nani, mami nk, payal aakash etc.

He was so engrossed that he forgot he was drooling over her like a fool.

She could feel his stare, the way he was staring at her, she was feeling conscious but at the same time happy too, she was just enjoying these moments and wanted to capture it for life long.

They were roaming around in the market visiting few shops, when arnav noticed a shop full of colourful bangles and he stopped.

He told khushi that he will be back in a moment, she was confused as to where he left, but thought of waiting for him.

Arnav saw few red and golden carved bangles and he liked it a lot, he thought of buying it for khushi, he didn't know what came into his mind , that he thought of buying it for khushi but he wanted to gift her something and nothing would have been best other than these colourful bangles for his colourful khushi.

He came to the shop where he had left khushi few mins back and was shocked to not find her there. He searched few another shops, but he couldn't find her, suddenly he got scared, this is an unknown city and a place which she is not aware of, she shouldn't have got lost.

He started searching her like mad, asking each and every person in the market.

Suddenly he saw few guys teasing a girl and holding her hand with force, he tried to look carefully and realized it was his khushi.

He got furious fuming with anger, he could see the guy grabbing and pulling her with force and she was screaming for help.

He ran to the place and spoke in an angry voice, 'leave her'', khushi turned around hearing a familiar voice, she was happy to see her arnavji, she took a sigh of relief.

Arnav saw her tear streaked face and something broke inside him to see her in this state, arnavji... she cried.

'Chodiye humein, arnavji yeh log hamare saath badtameezi kar rahe hain''

I said leave her alone, or I will not be responsible for what happens next.

The guy gave a wicked smile, why? Why should I leave her she is so pretty, I just want to spend some time with her, what is your concern go away he said.

That's it arnav lost it and grabbed the guy from his collar with force and punched him like hell, khushi got scared she knew once he gets angry nobody will be able to stop him, after some time few other guys also joined and started grabbing arnav, they pulled him and started hitting him, khushi started crying badly, chodiyein arnavji ko please she cried.

Khushi stay away from here arnav commanded, he got hurt but was not in a mood to give up, and started hitting back, how can they misbehave with his girl, they touched her that itself was enough for him to beat them to death.

Suddenly one guy took a knife and was about to stab arnav from back, when she screamed arnavji... and she collapsed on the ground, arnav saw her getting unconscious but in the meantime police had come and had grabbed the guy with knife.

Soon all the goons were taken away by the police seeing the fight in the market, people had informed police.

Arnav ran towards khushi and took her face in his lap, khushi... khushi... he called her but she didn't give any response, he knew she was unconscious and hence he picked her in his arms and walked towards his car.

He called the doctor on the way and asked him to come to the hotel as he didn't want to take her to hospital, he just wanted to keep her safe with him.

He reached the hotel room and made her lie on the bed, he was sweating badly, he was not able see her in this state.

Soon the attender came with the doctor, the doctor checked her and gave an injection to her, he also prescribed some medicines.

Dont worry Mr. Raizada your wife is ok, she is just under shock she will gain consciousness soon.

Arnav gave a shocked expression to the doctor, he didn't know why but he felt something inside him hearing the doctor say 'your wife''.

There was this known feeling inside him as if he didn't feel bad at all listening to the term wife.

He sat beside her and was waiting like mad for her to wake up.

Wake up khushi please I cant see you like this, please wake up. For the first time he had tears in his eyes for the girl in front of him, he was feeling miserable seeing her lying lifeless like this.

Suddenly her hands moved and she murmured arnavji...

He woke up hearing her voice and a smile crept on his face khushi...

She saw the man taking a knife and trying to stab arnav and screamed waking up arnavji...

Khushi... Iam here in front of you, khushi saw him safe and sound and started roaming her hands on his face his shoulder his chest as if to confirm that he is not hurt anywhere, aap... aaapp theek to ho, woh aadmi... usne... chaku se...

Khushi Iam fine see.. nothing has happened, she hugged him with force pressing herself more into his chest while sobbing badly wetting his shoulder. Arnav started patting her back, khushi... its ok I am fine see nothing has happened to me, its alright everything is ok.

She was not able to control herself, the thought of loosing him, the feeling of him getting hurt was killing her inside. What if something bad had happened she would have died then and there itself, she crushed herself more to his chest as if her life depended on it.

Khushi... shhh... its ok now stop crying I cant see you like this, he pulled her and cupped her face with his hands, see look at me... main yahi hoon tumhare paas mujhe kuch nahi hua ok...

Finally she relaxed and calmed herself, arnavji... I am sorry all this happened because of me I shouldn't have left that shop, I didn't realize those guys were following me.

Khushi, its ok its not your fault, the thought of those guys hurting khushi was making him mad like anything, but he controlled himself, he knew she was scared and he just wanted her to relax.

He wiped her tears and planted a soft kiss on her forehead, khushi ... thank god you are ok, you don't know how I felt when I saw you unconscious, I was scared dammit.. agar tumhe kuch ho jaata toh main...

She looked at him, and he realized what he was saying he diverted the topic, I will order something to eat.

Arnavji humein bhook nahi hain..., ya I know but you need to have medicines so eat he commanded.

They had their food and arnav made her lie on the bed, he tucked the blanket on her and asked her to sleep.

Arnavji, we were supposed to leave in the evening, now what will we do, gharwale pareshaan honge.

You don't worry khushi, I have informed di and everyone else that we will leave tomorrow morning.

Arnavji please don't tell them what happened here, they will get worried.

No problem khushi, I will not tell promise now you sleep and dont worry about anything, I am just outside do not hesitate to call me if you need anything.

Arnavji, you also sleep, tomorrow we need to leave early morning and you are too tired, you have to drive na please sleep and take rest.

Arnav smiled at her concern, he sat beside her and asked with a smirk, khushi... are you scared ? you have a doubt on my driving.

No... arnav..ji I didn't mean that, she stammered. Its just that if you will not sleep now, you will feel sleepy while driving and then it will be dangerous na.

Arnav chuckled and caressed her face, khushi don't worry trust me, I will not let anything happen to you ever.

They just stared at each other for few mins, khushi new he will always be there for her, but these little gestures made her heart flutter with happiness. 'I know arnavji'' she said looking into his eyes.

Arnav smiled and wished her good night.

At Raizada House

Nani chotey called he told that they will be leaving tomorrow as some urgent work came and they couldn't leave today.

Its ok anjali bitiya, its better they get some time with each other, I hope chotey and khushi bitiya come close to each other after this trip.

I hope so Naani.

Suddenly anjali's mobile rang and she excused herself from naani.

Naani saw her smiling and talking to some one, she had seen some changes in her grand daughter from few days and was happy that she was finally coming out of the trauma caused due to shyam. She knew Anjali was meeting some one now a days, but didn't ask her as she didn't want to make her nervous and give some time, so that she can share her feelings with her family.

Hi Anjali, armaan said.

Hello how r u? She asked.

Nothing getting bored without you.

Armaan don't you think you have started flirting with me now a days, if chotey comes to know na he will eat you alive and will not take a burp also.

Armaan smiled, I don't mind after all he is my friend cum patient.

Anjali smiled, their relation had developed in these few days, anjali had found a new friend in Armaan, a relationship she was not aware of these many years.

Her world had always revolved around her husband, no friends at all, for her he was everything, but the way he shattered her dreams she was scared to believe in anyone.

But when she met Armaan, she found solace in his talks, they way he used to lighten her mood, his funny and caring nature, it gave her immense peace and she liked spending time with him, she knew he has feelings for her, but she was not yet ready to give this relationship a try, as her dreadful past has left many scars on her heart and she was scared to take a second chance and right now she just wanted to be his friend.

Armaan had started loving her, he knew she has gone through a lot, the first time she shared her past with him, he noticed how she was getting all emotional and he knew she was shattered. At that time he just wanted to give her a shoulder for her miseries, he loved her he was sure about it, but more than that she was a true friend to him.

He didn't want to spoil their friendship and wanted to give her sometime to come out of her past. He will ask her someday for a future together, but right now he was loving the time spent with her.

At AR Office.

So lavanya, this is your new cabin , make yourself comfortable Aakash said.

Thanks a lot Aakash, you know I wasn't really comfortable to join AR again, but you and NK made it easy for me.

Lavanya had permanently settled in delhi with her parents, winding up her fathers business in London due to his health issues.

She was searching for a new job, when Aakash and NK offered her a senior manager post in AR.

Initially she was not comfortable with this offer as joining AR again was giving a weird feeling to her, but then Aakash assured her that Arnav and khushi have requested her to accept this offer and she couldn't deny.

NK was more than happy as now he will be able to spend more time with Lavanya and let her know about his true feelings for her.

Lavanya found NK as a good friend who always used to make her happy with his funny talks.

Arnav was not able to sleep, he was lost in thoughts of khushi, he was trying to understand himself his feelings for her.

He just thought about the events occurred in these three days after they came to nainital. His nightmare, him finding solace in her arms his first kiss on her cheek. Being jealous of Sohail, the way he danced with her in the party, fighting with goons and most of all their passionate encounter, he was just melting in that moment, it felt so nice to kiss her to feel her all over, he knew if she hadn't interrupted that day, he would have lost control and done something which would have made them uncomfortable with each other.

He knew he was falling for her, but was scared to name this feeling, what he felt for her was not just mere attraction, there was more to it, his protective nature towards her, his care and the way he panicked seeing her in an unconscious state, he has never felt like this for anyone except his di.

He was always scared to trust anyone after what happened in his past and hence he always kept himself aloof from these kind of emotions.

But now since he has met khushi, he wanted to live this moment, he wanted to live with her, the way he felt when doctor addressed her as his wife, there were butterflies in his stomach. Did he really wanted her to be part of his future, he was confused.

He was scared, since he didn't knew what was going on in khushi's mind, does she also feels the same for him he was not sure.

He was always scared to love someone as it has always given him pain, he loved his mother more than anything but she left him alone to face the ruthless world.

Now when he was coming close to khushi, he was again scared, what if she doesn't feel the same for him as he feels for her, he knew she was affected by him. But was it love or just an attraction.

He was worried, what if she also leaves him one day like his mother. He will not be able to take another disaster. He knew he wanted her badly, he wanted her to be a part of his life, his present and his future.

But does she wants the same, he needed to know it, he will have to ask her, but right now it was too early. He will have to give this new feeling a little time, they need to know each other, and as such he doesn't know about her anything except that she is payal's sister. He needs to know her more to make her a part of his life.

After thinking a lot, finally sleep arrived for him.

Good news in Raizada house, arnav and khushi coming more close to each other, but is it that easy think about it.

Note: I know many of you will be thinking that why iam not making arnav remember his lost memories.

Actually I don't want this story to be like some ghisa pita bollywood movie, where the hero or heroine lost their memory and others are making them realize by bringing similar situations in front of them and all that.

This story is little bit different, arnav has truly lost his memories and he doesn't remember anything except his nightmare, but that too will not help him in any way.

I know one thing, we always have control on our mind, but our heart doesn't work according to us, we don't have control on our heart. So here in this story though arnav's mind doesn't recollect his past, his heart is the same which had always beated for khushi and will always beat for khushi and he cant control it.

I want arnav to admit that he loves her and then the story will see a new change.

So keep waiting for the twists to come.
