Chapter 18

Naina widens her eyes at Rajveer's words.

Unable to understand what he actually means, Naina asks,

"Yeh kya keh rahe hain aap? Tabiyaat toh theek haina aapki? Mein or aapki biwi?"

saying that, she jerks her hand out of his grip and stands at a fair distance.

Smirking, crossing his arms over his chest, Rajveer replies,

"You heard it right! Yes, tum or meri biwi"

This makes Naina's heart to skip a beat and she stares at him in utter shock.

"Lagta hai aapne peena shuru kar dia hai. Mein aapse shaadi nahi karne wali"

says Naina, glaring at him out of anger.

This completely vanishes the smile from Rajveer's face and soon, anger surges through him. He starts moving towards her. Getting nervous, Naina starts taking her steps back and soon, her back hits the wall.

Rajveer hovers her from both sides and he refrains her from going.

"Maine tumse poocha nahi hai. You don't have a choice Ms. Ahluwalia. It's now time to become Mrs. Shekhawat"

he spits each word at her face with so much anger in his voice, leading it to send chills down Naina's spine.

Tears starts to form in Naina's eyes and she doesn't blink once, but keeps staring in his eyes, pleading him to not do this.

With a lot of hope, she asks,

"You are joking right?"

Smirking devilishly, moving a bit more closer to her, he runs his index finger over her smooth milky skin, leading her heartbeat to pick up pace and she shuts her eyes tightly out of nervousness.

"Not at all sweetheart, I'm not joking. We are getting married today, in fact in few minutes"

This was it for Naina. She won't be tolerating his insane behaviour. She wipes her tears away.

With her eyes burning with rage, she pushes Rajveer back, leading him to stumble.

"You are wrong Mr. Shekhawat. Mein mar jaongi par aapse kabhi shaadi nahi karungi"

now pointing her index finger at him, she continuous,

"Or aap mujhe force nahi kar sakte. Do you get that?"

Smiling at her innocence and how wrong she thinks, he again, starts moving towards her. This time, Naina stays glued to her spot.

Reaching her, staring her throughout, grabbing her elbow, he drags her towards a nearby couch and throws her on there and in no time, he puts his foot on the couch near her.

Glaring at her with so much anger, he warns her,

"Mein kuch bhi kar sakta hun. Samjhi tum? Now don't waste time and wear that dress"

He points towards a dress which he brought for her, that is sitting on the couch.

But Naina is Naina, she won't listen to him.

"Or agar mein aapse shaadi na karun toh?"

yells Naina with tears overflowing in her eyes.

Smirking, putting his foot back down, he sits on the floor and leans over her.

"Tum apni Maa se kitna pyaar karti ho Naina?"

he questions her so innocently

The mention of her mother sends shivers down her spine and she sits up straight on the couch in horror.

"Kya bakwas kar rahe hain aap?"

she yells out of her lungs.

Smirking, he takes his phone out and shows a video to Naina which causes her to widen her eyes. Her mother is in that video and she is in an unknown area, unconscious.

"Agar tum apni maa ko zinda dekhna chahti ho toh Marry me"

he says harshly

"Maa..."

utters Naina with her heartbeat racing fast, unable to believe.

Without answering him, she runs to her mother's room but doesn't find her there. She checks the entire house and her mother seems nowhere to be around. She thought her mother was sleeping.

Coming back to Rajveer, in tears, she grabs his collar and yells,

"Aap Maa ke sath aisa nahi kar sakte"

Staring at her with anger, he pushes her off slightly and she falls on the nearby couch.

"Abhi tumhari maa ko kuch nahi hua hai. Mujhse shaadi kar lo or tumhari maa yahan hogi tumhare paas and I promise you that"

She doesn't say anything but keeps staring at him with teary eyes.

"Kyun kar rahe hain aap aisa?"

she questions, whispering.

Unable to see her in this condition, he turns his back towards her. Closing his eyes, he tries to control his emotions.

Now grabbing the dress, he throws it near her, along with the jewelry.

"Mere paas tumhare rone dhone ka time nahi hai. Jaldi ye pehno. I'll am waiting in the car"

saying that, he walks out of her house leaving a devastated Naina behind. Not having left with any choice, she grabs the dress and goes in her room to change.

Words cannot describe how heartbroken she is feeling at this moment.

Outside Her House - Rajveer's Car

Rajveer is speaking to Alekh on the phone.

"Alekh mein Naina ke sath bohut galat kar raha hoon. Mujhe ye sab theek nahi lag raha"

"Please calm down sir. I know is waqt ye sahi nahi hai but hamaray paas or koi rasta nahi hai. Aaj jo hua us ke baad yehi sahi hai. Iss mein hi Naina ki bhalai hai and she will understand it soon"

replies Alekh on the other side and tries to calm him down.

After speaking to Alekh for some time, Rajveer hangs up. Soon, Naina comes out wearing a beautiful Red Saree - given by Rajveer - and in silence, they both head towards a Mandir to get married.

At the Party - Shekhawat's Mansion

Sweltering bodies crowded the enclosed space, their hips gyrating in emphasis with the pulsating music which is reverberating around the open air. Vibrant lazer lights beamed across the dance floor; which is being trampled upon by tipsy adolescents.

Everyone pressed their bodies against each other, in an interlocking moment of serenity. More than an official party, it looks more like a disco.

Huda, who has been dancing nonstop, he suddenly spots a figure entering the Mansion. Looking carefully, he notices it's Naina.

Wanting to ask her for a dance, he reaches up to her and without her permission, he grabs onto her wrist and says,

"Thank god you're here Naina. I've been waiting for you. Let's dance!"

Without uttering a word, Naina just stares at Huda and follows him as he drags her on the dance floor, but soon, they get stopped as someone grabs Naina's other hand.

It's none other than Rajveer. Glaring at Huda, he jerks Naina's hand out of his grip and says,

"You need my permission to dance with MY WIFE, which I will NEVER give"

Holding onto Naina's hand, Rajveer takes her on the stage - Naina silently follows him. All the lights turns off and the spotlight is now on them. Everyone present there is quiet and watches Rajveer and Naina.

"Hello everyone! I would like you to meet my beautiful wife, Mrs. Naina Singh Shekhawat"

announces Rajveer.

Raj and Alekh planned to make them get married.

I hope it can help but for Naina it's really bad. She is devastated and unable to believe that Raj did it to her.

But I am sure soon tge truth will be revealed and she will forgive him. After all he did all this for her.

Chapter 19

At Rajveer's announcement, Huda's body doesn't know how to react, it kind of just shuts down. His face goes slack, mouth slightly open, body unmoving, and color draining from his face as he stares wide-eyes at Rajveer and Naina. He just freezes up to a point where anyone can hardly see him breathing, but when shock begins to melt away, everything returns slowly.

Everyone else in the party, they are shocked as well, but not as much as Huda. But there is just one person who is calm - Alekh. Standing in a corner, smiling, Alekh keeps staring at his beloved sister and his jiju.

Huda stares at Naina without blinking his eyes and realises how she is avoiding to meet his gaze. Anger surges through him. With clenched teeth, he makes his way towards the stage and soon, he reaches Rajveer and Naina.

Staring her with anger, he lets out a sudden sigh, opens his mouth to speak, but then he snaps it shut and gulps. Then, with a little more success, he says something, but it comes out raspy, barely audible.

But soon, without giving Naina a warning, Huda holds Naina by her shoulders, harshly.

"Tum mere sath aisa kaise kar sakti ho Naina?"

he spits those words at her with so much anger.

Naina doesn't speak nor she meets his eyes, but tears are clearly visible in her eyes.

As Rajveer sees Huda touching Naina, his blood boils. His eyes starts burning with rage and jealousy. Taking a step towards Huda and Naina, he jerks Huda's hand away.

Pointing his finger towards Huda, Rajveer says,

"I'll break that hand of yours if you dare to touch my wife again."

Now pointing towards the door, Rajveer continues,

"Get out of my house Mr. Amardeep Huda or aaj ke baad Naina ke aas paas aane ki jurrat bhi mut karna"

"Tujhe toh mein dekh lunga"

saying that to Rajveer, Huda leaves his house out of anger and frustration.

Everyone is the party, except for Alekh, has many questions, especially Maya, but no one dares to question Rajveer and no one is allowed to interfere in his personal life.

Without saying anything, Naina goes from there. Rajveer doesn't stop her as he knows that she wants to be alone at this moment.

Soon, the party finishes and everyone leaves from there.

Rajveer's Room

After some time, Rajveer returns to his bedroom. Shutting the door behind him, he goes to the washroom to freshen up.

After he returns back from the washroom, he sits comfortably on his couch and gets busy with few files.

Just then, he hears a loud sound which grabs his attention. Shifting his gaze towards the sound, he gets shocked on finding Naina, his wife, standing at his door.

Her eyes blazing with anger, she walks towards him.

"And you are gone Mr. Shekhawat"

mumbles Rajveer under his breath upon seeing his wife's anger.

Knowing that he can't act in such a way in front of her - cannot show how afraid he is feeling upon seeing her anger - he returns to his arrogant avatar.

"Mujhe darwaze par knock ki awaz sunai nahi di"

says Rajveer, reminding her that how could she forget to knock.

Staring him with anger, she yells,

"Maine knock kiya bhi nahi sir"

She emphasizes on "sir", reminding him about their professional relationship.

"Toh phir tum issi samay darwaze se bahir step out karogi or knock karke andar aaogi"

he says in his same tone.

"No sir"

saying that, she shuts the door behind him. Reaching up to him, she gets a hold of his collar and yells,

"Kyun kiya aapne mere sath aisa? Kya mila aapko meri zindagi barbaad kar ke?"

Rajveer stares at her with guilt in his eyes. He thinks if he should tell her the reason. But if he tells her, she won't believe him, so, it's better to not say anything, or lie.

They share an eye lock before Rajveer lowers his gaze.

Jerking her hands away, he turns his back towards her and says,

"Mein tumhare kisi bhi sawal ka jawab dena zaroori nahi samajhta"

This reaches Naina's anger. In irritation, she grabs a hold of his arm and swings him towards her.

"Lekin mujhe mera jawab chahiye"

she demands to know

There is no way he can tell her the truth at this moment, so, he decides to lie.

He suddenly grabs her elbow and pushes her towards the wall . Making his grip tighter on her arm, he yells,

"Maine aisa issi liye kiya kyunke nafrat karta hun mein tumse, tadapte hue dekhna chahta hun mein tumhe. Zindagi barbaad karna chahta hun mein tumhari. Samjhi tum?"

Saying that, he leaves her and goes out of the room leaving a devastated Naina behind, in tears. Her heart breaks again as she hears his hate confession; why does it hurt her so much if he hates her?

No! No! No! She cannot fall week. Wiping her tears away, she says,

"Aap kya meri zindagi barbaad karenge? Ab mein aapko batati hun biwi hone ka mathlab kya hota hai. Ab aap ka samna ek alag Naina se hoga and I promise you that Mr. Rajveer Singh Shekhawat"

She calls her mother at home and informs her that she'll come tomorrow and explain her everything. After Rajveer married Naina, he brought her mother home and without informing her anything, they left from there.

After some time, Rajveer returns back to his room and his eyes widens on seeing Naina sitting on his bed in a bridal lehnga, her ghunghat is over her head. As he looks around the room, he finds it fully decorated just like how a room would be decorated on a first wedding night.

As Naina watches him in shock, she smirks. Getting off the bed, staring him throughout, she reaches him.

Standing dangerously close to him, she runs her finger over his face, sending chills down his spine.

Now, moving more close to him, she whispers huskily,

"Mein aapka kab se intzaar kar rahi thi mere pati parmeshwar"

Rajveer is too shocked to even reply. He gulps on thinking about this night. Is this his suhagraat?

Now, taking a glass of warm milk, Naina forwards it towards him and says seductively,

"Ye pee lijiye. Aaj raat bohut lambi hone wali hai"

Naina is definetly planning something.
